We had reservations for 6:00 pm. We arrived about 10-15 minutes early. The restaurant was not busy at all. We ordered drinks and appetizers. We don't finish the drinks but the appetizers were good. We ordered our food, after waiting a little while we were told that our food would be 15-20 minutes longer due to a large party (35) people had arrived in their private dinning room. When our food finally arrived, we requested a couple knives to cut up the pork chop and chicken breast but we were told that they didn't have any knives because the large party had taken them. We informed our waitress that she would just have to find knives. She did come back with one and after us telling her again that we needed another knife she did find one. My food was ok but my husband was not eatable. He had ordered the potato with beef, bacon and cheese. The meat was so dried out that you could not get a fork in it. We took it home to feed our dog. We left without finishing our drinks or food. No one seemed to care. They were only interested in the large party. So sad. Unfortunately we will not be back and will not recommend. read more

Recently we celebrated my husbands birthday and wanted to enjoy a nice dinner somewhere. This place did not disappoint! We both ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection. No joke, one of the best steaks I've had. We also ordered the street corn appetizer and I couldn't get enough. Absolutely delicious. Our server was very attentive and if she didn't know the answer to our questions, she went out of her way to get the information we wanted. I gave it four out of five because we ordered drinks and the potato skins as well. My husband's Bloody Mary was very disappointing and the potato skins were very very dry and had zero flavor. The restaurant itself has a great vibe and we will definitely be back. (((I can't stop thinking about that amazing steak!!!!))) We also took home a slice of red velvet cheesecake. Our server was very nice, but it took almost an hour to get our food. We were the only customers in the restaurant when we ordered. We both had the White Truffle Filet. It was overcooked and overpriced. The mashed potatoes were too garlicky. My husband said his carrots were the best he ever had. This will be our only visit. Went here last Saturday night, sat at the bar as we did not have reservations. Waited for a while for the bartender to acknowledge us. Wife asked if she was ignoring us... almost walked out. She took our drink orders & then our meal orders. Wife ordered bone-in ribeye, I ordered Jim Bean marinated Strip Steak. Food arrived timely. I started eating mine & it was 'peppery'. I looked at it closely & it was covered in more ground black pepper than I've ever seen on a steak, almost like BBQ rub on ribs. My wife then noticed the same thing on her steak. It was almost like someone in the kitchen did this on purpose. Neither one of us could eat more than 1/3 of the steaks. I tasted no marinade on the strip steak, perhaps the ground pepper absorbed the Jim Bean. read more

One tried to order chicken piccata, but it was not available, even though it was on the menu. They did not have baked potatoes either. Our appetizer arrived after a brief delay, but our food did not arrive until 5:20. One got a steak. While it was cooked well, the flavor was bland. "It was not a thirty dollar steak." The other food was OK, but none of it was worth an hour wait. The table next to us placed their order just before us, but they were finished with their meal before we received our food. We arrived about 4:50pm and sat at the bar. First things we noticed were that nobody was at the hostess stand and none of the TVs were on. When asked about the TVs, it wasn't clear why they weren't on? It was early with maybe a dozen customers in the place. We had a drink and ordered boudin balls. It took a while to get them and when they arrived they were over-fried. Not their usual boudin balls. We then ordered 2 burgers w/ fries, one medium, one well done. We waited about 45'. When they arrived, one burger wasn't cooked enough. We sent it back and waited another 30'. We asked to speak to the new owner, who was seated at a table in the bar. He wasn't interested in our feedback and no apology. Waitress later reduced our bill. While appreciated, it didn't make up for our bad experience. We, and other family members, have dined here regularly in the past, but the experience and food has declined under the new ownership (other family members had told us of their previous bad experiences). We were there for dinner the weekend before Halloween and the steaks weren't prepared to order at that time either. Also, while she worked very hard, our waitress was only 14? Concerning the ambiance, it doesn't appear to be a prohibition-themed restaurant any longer judging by the t-shirts worn by the staff. read more

Gem of a restaurant in a small Tennessee town. Pretty cool atmosphere. Good variety of brands in the Bar, I tried the French 75 cocktail and it was lovely. Had to return my $37 16oz Bone In Ribeye - it was about 1/2" thick and was the size of a dinner plate, firm white fat unrendered, cut in the middle it was white (yes white!) wins worst seasoned steak ever tasted. I had the Mushroom Ravioli instead and enjoyed the flavor but not the cold, stale piece of garlic Texas toast. I think they can do better. Will definitely return. read more

Visited here two times. Both on a Friday night. We love the atmosphere and everyone has been so nice and inviting. The drinks have been on point both times that we've come here. The food needs a lot of work. I have owned my own restaurant so I know what it takes. The first time we visited, my partner and I both had the pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The pork chops had no seasoning whatsoever. The garlic mashed potatoes were very dry. The brussel sprouts were delicious but could still use some seasoning. We also had the spinach dip as an appetizer. It was not good at all. Maybe trying another recipe would help. The band that was playing that night was great. The vibe was there and there were people dancing, it was a great time. We went again this past Friday night. Again the people and the service and the drinks were incredible. It's just the food. This time I had the burger and fries. Burger was burnt and dry around the sides and not even a lick of salt on it. My partner had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Again, not seasoned at all. Boudin balls would be great if it had, yeah you guessed it, SEASONING! I really want to love this place but the food has to get better especially since they are opening another location in another town. Revise the menu, hire a new cook, and this place will be packed on the weekends. I really like this place but the food HAS to get better. read more
