We were greeted while waiting in line that there might be a bit of a wait since it was full. It was not too bad - maybe 10 minutes. It was pretty full in there. But we stayed for a couple hours due to a delayed flight and the second hour was a lot emptier. They have one bar with a couple of bartenders. Also there was a special drink menu too. I got to try a matcha tonic. I've never has matcha as part of an alcoholic drink before. It was interesting and tasty. They do have a full bar and you can get pretty much anything. The food selection is ok, not great but I understand they do have to try to feed many people. The night I went, I enjoyed the roasted pepper soup and the multicolored roasted carrots. They had some kind of beef entree, salad, hummus and other cold foods. Also I found dried pears....which I have never had before but am now addicted to. Mmm. It's one of the better lounges I've been to in terms of the food and drinks. But it's not a huge space, that can get crowded easily. read more

We're all going to need to be more flexible and marking large tables as reserved leaves everyone else squished together with lots of empty areas and ruins the luxury of the lounge experience. Little disappointed here. It's not really a comfortable space. For a lounge it felt more like a cafeteria. We came on a winter storm day. Lots of flight cancellations etc so companies were having a hard time staffing. The lounge couldn't get a chef for the lunch shift so they stopped serving food after breakfast around noonish. That's fine. I like breakfast food and their sausage Patties were delicious. We posted up in some hard chairs and a two top near the bar. The bartender was friendly and working hard but kept asking everyone for a second ID to give them their drink. It's the holidays in an airport. Either you are traveling with your significant other who is back holding your table and chair or you are traveling alone. Either way you deserve two drinks. No reason to make every single person in line go back to get the second ID in order to release the drinks. Then at 2:30pm the bar closed. They said lack of staff and people couldn't get in due to the storm. But based on the jam packed airport everyone except the staff made it up in. Props to the staff who did show up they worked hard and drove in bad conditions. But an airport lounge without a bar or any food or any sort of ambiance is basically just a dentist waiting room. We went around the corner to the delta sky lounge and it is MUCH better. Larger bar. More bartenders. Larger lounge. Better seating. Better vibe. Full Buffett. Even without the staffing shortages the delta lounge is far superior to the centurion. AMEX needs to improve on this location. read more

Very professional staff that is well organized. Due to COVID-19 restrictions they were limiting the number of guests, but they put us on a waitlist and texted me when our reservation was ready. The food was fantastic, and they did a great job of seating parties by their size. Since we had four people, they put us in an area with four seats. While that may sound obvious, frequently I have visited the United lounge and seen four-person spots occupied by one male business traveler. Really a great lounge. read more

This has to be one of the smallest Centurion Lounges in the network even with the expansion. Granted, I know that the SeaTac airport is expanding like crazy. It also didn't help that there were a lot of delayed flights, which also increase the demand for the lounge. Anyways... I get to the lounge in concourse B to check in. There is no sign in front like other lounges so I think this is going to be great. I get in and the woman tells me that there is a wait as they are at capacity at the moment. She gets all of my information and tells me there will be a 20-30 minute wait to get in and they will text you when it's your turn to get in. We explored the airport shops for 18 minutes when we got the text to come back and to get in. You only get 10 minutes to get back or they push you back down the list. Regardless once we got there, we checked in with another person and we were in the lounge! Hooray! As mentioned earlier, it is definitely smaller than some of the other lounge but with them controlling capacity seating was easier to find. There was quite the variety of food options including: a salad bar, fresh fruit, pasta, meatballs, rice, and a few dessert options. The bar area had a nice cocktail list to choose from, craft beers, and many different wines. WiFi was fast and overall, once you get into the lounge, it is a very enjoyable experience. In contrast to many of the reviews, I got to the Seattle Centurion while it was relatively empty and secured a nice window seating with a beautiful cloudy view of the Southwest and Delta docking station. After sitting here for 20 minutes, I can see how this medium-sized Centurion lounge may be challenging for larger families to reside. From a 20,000 ft view, Centurion lounges come with an open bar, warm and cold dining options, and free internet. What I like about this place was the dried mangos and figs bar (AMAZING!). In contrast to the Philly Centurion, the hot food selection in the Seattle Centurion was definitely lacking. The only thing gthat was worth trying was the curried chicken, but the pale stirfry veggies and rice was a definite pass. To be honest, I'm not a fan of the apples in saran wrap, especially when I saw an apple with a large mold cave, secured in wrapping. In terms of mixed drinks, I tried the macha gin+tonic and wasn't a big fan (too many ice cubes), but I really liked the cabernet. There's one large fancy coffee machine, and a few fragrant water options. Finally, there were only four (unisex) bathrooms with enough room to change as needed. At the end of the day, the Centurion louge is still leaps and bounds above the classic lounges, but there are definite areas of improvement. read more

The Seatac airport AMEX Centurion Lounge has undergone some major changes since I last visited. For one, it is a much larger and newer facility complete with its own coffee roaster and juice bar. Must better space usage and plenty of charging outlets for laptops and electronics alike. Food quality is about the same and their hot menu items unchanged. Now that guests without their own Platinum card will have to about $30 per person has greatly reduced the congestions. And it makes it expensive for a family to enjoy the lounge. The staff will check your boarding pass and the computer will deny entry if you are earlier than like two hours prior to departure. Enjoy. read more

Good bar, great drinks, food, and solid service with nice ambience. They only thing lacking a bit is that some outlets don't work which makes it hard to charge your devices or do any work. No complaints otherwise. Perhaps consider staying open till midnight since you are on West Coast and many flights may be leaving late for East Coast or to Europe. read more

Been here a few times now. It's nice that they are open on Labor Day. The food is good - today they had meatloaf with curried carrots. They usually have healthy food too like salad or chia seed pudding at breakfast. They had a few desserts today including banana bread, danishes, muffins. And peas that tasted, honestly, like dishwater smells. Only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 is because, while they should've have to do it anyway, they were regulating entry in a reasonable fashion. After a long flight the last thing you want to do is come to an unpleasant atmosphere.... after all the perks of having a club membership are escaping the chaos of the airport. Upon being greeted the staff behind the front desk were rude, demanding and unfriendly. The kitchen crew made up for where they lacked although starting off on such a wrong foot made me wonder if just purchasing food at one of the restaurants In the Seattle airport would have made my layover more enjoyable. Walked in here at what is probably the busiest time of the year, day before thanksgiving. We were told lounge is at full capacity and it's going to be an hour wait. While this was frustrating, it wasn't their fault. We patiently waited outside. The lady inside came out every 15 mins checking on people and trying to get as many in as possible. We got in within 30 mins and they profusely apologized for the wait and the busy lounge inside. Centurion lounge has probably one of the best selections amongst the inter US travel lounges. The selection of food for dinner was impressive, 2 soups, salad bar, 2 hot entrees and desserts. I wish they had some vegetarian options other than just Salad. The staff was working so hard refilling the food and clearing dishes. Despite being so packed, they were pleasant and efficient. The bar has a great selection of signature cocktails and lots of beer/wine options. This lounge is complimentary for American Express Platinum and Centurion card holders. read more

It's a good lounge, but it's not the *best* lounge. Don't get me wrong - the food and drink options were great and quite sufficient and the staff was made up of wonderful people. No complaints there at all. The main downside was that the entire lounge felt very cramped. It was packed and people were practically on top of one another. Relatively loud for a lounge and a lot less personal space than I'm used to both domestically and internationally. It's my understanding that this is the smallest Centurion Lounge, so that probably explains a lot. I'd love to see them expand and regardless, we'll certainly be back. read more

Torn again for a 3.5 but I'm rounding up. If you have Priority Pass and go to any of the Club at SEA locations, or belong to the Alaska Boardroom, The Centurion Lounge blows it out of the park. But if you have access to Delta's Sky Club, you may want to go there instead. When the SEA location opened, this site was classified as a Centurion Studio which helped set expectations for the small space. The food was top notch. The nod to local beer, wine and food is a great touch. I love the Ellenos yogurt in the morning and Chateau St. Michele brut in the evening. With the 2017 expansion for an actual bar and more seating space, the look and feel didn't seem quite the same anymore. I think they were trying to compete with the huge Delta lounge that just opened in the next terminal. Either way, it's still a great place to park your bum for a while before or after you land (if they aren't at capacity). Holiday travelers be aware of potential capacity issues. Other than that I've never had a problem getting in. The only issue I had was once an attendant asked me to take my phone call outside because another patron complained. Which is funny because I was sitting next to a family with scream children - one was rolling on the floor and the other jumping on the couch - but no one asked them to take their feet off the cushion. read more

With Priority Pass becoming the airport lounge pass of the masses, more exclusive places like the Centurion Lounge remain a cut above. Unlike the less restrictive Club at SEA lounge, this place doesn't accept Priority Pass. As a result, the food is slightly better and the place is slightly less crowded. You'll need the American Express Platinum or Centurion card for you and up to two guests to gain entry. At dinnertime, there was simple salad, sandwiches, vegetarian yakisoba, chicken banh mi, potato leek soup, chicken gumbo, and a couple decent looking desserts. Beverage options included fruit-infused water, iced tea and different alcoholic drinks, all complimentary. There was a decent amount of seating with tables, and power outlets were ample. The lounge had its own WiFi network but no business center or conference room. There were three single-occupancy restrooms and one shower. Service was excellent. The food wasn't amazing, but having lounge food that wasn't just pulled out of a package 5 minutes ago was a breath of fresh air. read more

Came here today prior to my flight back home to the Bay and had a pleasant stay. The Centurion Studio in Seattle is smaller than its Lounge cousins but packs a big punch. The Centurion Studio doesn't have showers, spas, or hot solid food offerings, but instead has two spacious but clean bathrooms, cold food items and hot soup. In terms of alcohol, there isn't a full bar but instead there is wine, sparkling wine (including mimosas and bellinis) and beer. There is also ample seating and plenty of outlets to charge your laptops and phones. Wifi is also available free-of-charge (password provided at check-in desk). For food, I had veggies with humus along, a couple bowls of the French/Moroccan lentil tomato soup, and a glass of local sparkling wine. I had eaten dinner prior to coming to the Studio, so I was already pretty full-- the food was tasty, filling, but most importantly...light! I was surprised at how delicious the lentil soup was--good Mediterranean flavor with a Western touch. Customer service was very professional and friendly--from check-in and from being served drinks. Typical top-notch customer service as you'd expect at any Amex Centurion facility. One very minor issue I had was with the bathrooms (both of them) -- the toilet seats don't stay up on their own when you try to lift them up. For all the gents who are reading this review, you'll likely to hold up the toilet seat when you have to do the Number One! Hopefully this can get fixed sometime soon. Overall, I had a great time here at the Centurion Lounge. Good food offerings, clean facilities, and great service. Five stars! read more

For what it is worth, a studio beats no studio. No, it is not a club, so expect continental breakfast and no braised pork or endless wine pouring service and cocktails, all on the house as it ought to be when people fork over $800 annual fee. But, it is essential for lazy people and misanthropes to rest our tired feet after a red eye. There are a few small sleeping cots that are nice for small people. Pastries are more than edible. Espresso is strong and completely needed after traveling to backwater places where espresso is uncommon. There are charging stations. Located in terminal B near gate B3 that opens at 5 am. Whereas the Alaska lounge did not open as early. A former boyfriend who now lives in Seattle informed me so just before my flight. Not far from Delta gates. He said it was too early to meet me there, which was a good news, considering my snuggled up in the mini size sleep cot with legs all twisted look was not how I would have wanted him to remember me. read more

The SeaTac location is fairly small. I was told to wait for at least 30 minutes before I could get it because of COVID occupancy limitation. If your spare time is less than 1.5 hour, forget about it, its simply too busy for its size. The food is not very good when I visited, entries were just corned beef and boiled broccoli. You can easily get better food from other restaurants in the airport. Typically you can find premium thick tissues in Centurion lounges, but this one just offers regular tissue, sub par by Centurion lounge standard. Staffs were friendly, bar is decent thought. If you flight Alaksa, you can use your Priority Pass to get into Alaska lounges. read more

Fortunate to have a CL in SEA compared to other airports. It's better than nothing. Being the first CL I've been to, it's pretty nice to me. I've had one good and one bad experience here so far. The bad was going on a Thursday evening at 6:20PM and having a waitlist where they are letting people in after 6:45PM. Due to a smaller CL compared to others and a busy airport. So this time I was unable to enter. Second time I went a little after 5AM before a morning flight. Got my family and myself in and got some hot breakfast. As a first timer it was awesome to experience this and glad to be part of the AMEX community. read more

Compare to The Centurion Lounge, The Centurion Studio is not really as nice but it is relatively good. A huge step up from United Club. Being new, I love the deco and different seating options. Though there is no hot food or any self served spirits but the server can bring you beers and wines if you do need a drink. Local craft beers on the list including a Pale Ale, Saison and Dark Ale, Decent set up for a short layover or some down time before your flight. read more

Finding myself in the SeaTac Centurion Lounge for the very first time, I was greeted by Kim and Malcolm. Verifying my AMEX platinum card and same-day boarding pass, I was quickly shown into the lounge. A number of different self-serve foods - from fruit and salad to sandwiches, soup, and deserts - I was impressed at how well the lounge was kept. Coffee, milk, juice, and a full bar were available for the traveler attempting to relax either before or after their flight. Great view of both the tarmac and Mount Rainier. My stay on this visit, while returning to Fort Lauderdale, was about 90 minutes. Polite and courteous staff - my only complaint was that the lentil soup was cold. When mentioned to a wait staff person, they immediately set about correcting the problem. Having sat toward the entrance of the lounge, I could overhear Kim and Malcolm checking in guests. I was impressed at how familiar they seemed with several of the people coming and going, apparently on a regular basis. Located near gate B3, the Centurion Lounge appears convenient to the entire airport. Upon leaving, I made it to the N gates in just under 15 minutes, including walk and shuttle time.
