Had to try the Seattle hot dogs before leaving and this was the place to do it! The cream cheese made it a little difficult to bite but it was still good. The onions tasted a bit different though, like they had been sitting for a while, but it didn't ruin the whole dog. I also had the clam chowder which was really good. read more

This is my brief visit experience. Basically I usually try to get to the AMEX Centurion Lounge where there is a large food buffet and full bar but I was pressed for time and though I should find something near my terminal which happened to be D3. What was next door? Seattle Dawg House! What a find. I just wanted a bowl of soup and a glass of wine. So I ordered classic clam chowder (delish!) and a glass of Chardonnay which was perfect. Both excellent and simply what I wanted. I sat at a larger table which was no problem since it was not full. My server was great and took care of me. Reasonably speedy service, I have no complaints and only praise. I'll have to try more food options if there is another time. read more

As far as airport food goes, this was standard and just fine. I was able to get a table with no wait and was quickly greeted by a server. I ordered a Diet Pepsi and a Seattle Dawg (sans jalapeños). The food came out quickly and tasted just fine. I'm not sure that I've heard of a Seattle-style hot dog before, but I liked it. It was different though. My server was attentive and made sure my drink was always topped off. I thought the restaurant itself was cute and loaded with Seattle sports flair. Located inside of the SeaTac airport in the D gates. This place is a kitschy play on a sports bar honoring the University of Washington's huskies. Here in the northwest, the husky fans yell GO DAWGS! Hence the name. The staff are dressed in black and white striped shirts that you see game officials wearing. They serve beer, wine and spirits and have a small seating area flanked by televisions. I've seen a lot of folks standing around looking in from the hallway and watching their favorite teams compete. All of that is good and fine but I wouldn't recommend ordering any food. It's well overpriced and everything that I've had there seems like it comes from the freezer or a package and just gets heated up. Sometimes, quick is the name of the game when you're about to board a plane but if you can, eat someplace else. I am very disappointed by the staff's approach to me and the racist undertones that I experienced! I went to the location in SEA by gate D and I was the only Black person in the place with approximately 30 ppl. Three different waitresses came up to me to tell me that it was card only, no cash!!! This was not said to anyone else but they felt the need to keep emphasizing it to the only black person there. Even the Caucasian guy sitting next to me said "one more time for the cheap seats" as a joke because he thought it was unnecessary. This was uncomfortable and unacceptable. I have no desire to give this place my business (which by the way is a credit card) ever again. You not only lost a customer due to your prejudices but you also gained a voice of why not to give you any business moving forward! read more

Ate here on my way to Hawaii...got food poisoning and puked my first two days in Kona- zero stars - would not recommend!

I don't understand why this airport bar & restaurant would only get 3 stars? Sure, the food and drinks are going to cost more, that is how it is at any airport. I was super impressed with my server Darlene D. She was very nice and personable. She is on her game1 Excellent service. Fun and personable. I watched her do everything with ease from taking orders, bar tending, serving and keeping up with all that goes on. I hope some day she is promoted because she deserves it! I thought the food was excellent, One of the best burgers I have ever had anywhere. I enjoyed the environment, sitting at the bar, talking with other fellow travelers. A brand new addition to SEA's diverse food offerings! It's a bar, it has a handful of hotdog choices (including plant-based), and then a whole variety of other choices. I went to the preview and enjoyed a Seattle dog. Super good and hit the spot! Would have loved a bit more cream cheese and the bun was super fluffy and broke half way through eating, but loved the flavor combination and I ate it all. We had no idea it would be fake meat. More like meatloaf, probably to cut costs. I took a mushy bite. Mushy is understated. I ordered a lite beer and the waitress recommended draft, $13 for an 8oz. Overpriced and overrated. Our lunch came to $71 with tip. Consumer beware. You can get way better food at a carnival or street fair for less. read more

I quickly sat down on the edge of a chair at one of their 4 empty tables that border the terminal to get out of people's way while I looked for American Airlines customer service desk on the airport map because I wanted see about an earlier flight. The Blonde waitress named Amanda came over to give me a menu. When I said I was just looking at my phone real quick, Amanda rudely told me to go sit out in the terminal and pointed at 2 empty chairs across from the restaurant and walked away. After my short look at the airport map, I ventured back into the terminal to find the service desk. I eventually came back to the restaurant and avoided sitting in Amanda's section. Just like everyone says about airports, they are going to rake you over the coals on price. I ordered a dog since I had less than 30 minutes to my connection in Dallas. The soggy thing fell through the bun as soon as I picked it up. Amanda needs some guidance on being rude to potential customers for sure! read more

Customer service was impeccable, Seattle dog was yummy. Unfortunately they were out of the apple tart but the manager was so nice and comped my meal. They offered an alternative for dessert but I wasn't up for the waffles lol. Would definitely recommend and be stopping by again whenever I've got a flight to catch. read more

Really wish I had read the reviews prio eating here on my trip through SeaTac. A few others had captured the comments well: Basic hot dog with little sauerkraut (the Bavarian) and drowned in cheese sauce. Overpriced at $14. Draft beer for $12 (again, overpriced, but I guess it is okay as I am captive at the airport...) and no sides like fries; only a bag of chips for $2. Two of us had the same thing and it was $55. Service was good, but the food quality and price overshadowed it. As I was walking to the gate, I wished I had chosen another of the restaurants on-site. I may have paid more, but presume the food quality and options would have been better. I presume nothing will happen because of this review, or from the others, as it seems to keep happening.
