I had a prenatal massage scheduled but unexpectedly went into labor the morning of my appointment…read more I called just a few hours after giving birth to let them know I couldn't make it, then spent the next 10 days calling four times to speak with the manager, only to receive an email reiterating the cancellation policy. I understand businesses need policies, but I was disappointed there was no effort to offer any reasonable accommodation--such as a future credit or discount--for a circumstance completely outside of my control. As a local customer, what disappointed me most wasn't the policy itself but the lack of compassion, communication, and customer service during such a significant life event. If you cater to late-term prenatal clients, it's worth considering a policy that recognizes spontaneous labor can happen. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this business based on how this situation was handled. Update: While the manager is standing by their cancellation policy, they acknowledged that late-term prenatal appointments are a unique circumstance and shared that they're reconsidering whether a separate policy should exist for situations like unexpected labor. They offered me a $120 spa credit as a goodwill gesture (with the original cost of my charged prenatal massage service being $240) I appreciate that they took the time to listen, reflect on my feedback, and make an effort to address my concerns. While I still believe there is room for improvement in how these situations are handled and the offer to make it right, I'm grateful my experience may help create a more compassionate approach for future prenatal clients.

My massage was scheduled for later that day, but we happen to be a witness to a very bad accident and so we stayed to need to help and call 911. Because of that, I missed my appointment. They were not willing to give me a credit or allow me to come some other day, and I lost the money for that massage. So that was disappointing. The other issue was that the staff of the masseurs and aestheticians are great. The front office staff, the ladies could be friendlier. She was very cold and rude, especially if you don't buy the products that they suggest. Very disappointed, and I drive up there from LA. Probably won't be making another trip.

Murat is a miracle worker…read more So, now that I've gotten that out of the way, how incredible is coming here for spa treatment? It starts with driving into the property. Catching a glimpse at the gorgeous horses, parking by all the blooming wildflowers, which smell incredible. The walk up the hill let me find a hidden secret garden filled with some type of morning meditation group. When I checked in for my hour signature massage, the hostess was pleasant, juggling a very busy day and still paying attention to continually restock used up amenities being used by guests. The waiting room and the tea room both had lovely snacks (the tea is made with four different satchels, but the peppermint was the only flavor I could pick out). Try the oatmeal cookie after your massage, you'll love it. I came with a large group and didn't get to fully enjoy every lovely amenity that was provided by The Spa. The pool might have been salt water, because it didn't have the harsh smell of chlorine. And I'll have to come back to enjoy drinks and hot tub time tucked away in the corner near a waterfall down the mountainside. Very romantic. Very decadent. Very worth every penny I spent for my one hour treatment.

I did like how you could put the tip separately afterwards using your credit card and it wasn't like some places where they hound you about a tip. The spa is nicely appointed for toiletries for women, plenty of products. The toilets in the locker rooms have fancy bidet seats! They called us ahead of time to find out what size robe and slippers we would need, but then they put the wrong size robe in my locker. I've never had a spa do that, usually they either put standard sized robes in lockers or ask you when you walk in. The robes were pretty nice. This isn't like a big spa complex where they have steam rooms and saunas, but they did have a couple of nice "chill" rooms including the waiting room that had fruit water and snacks (cut up fruit which looked good), and there is an aftercare room that they call the "tea room" where they served tea and cookies. We were staying at the hotel so not sure if you came here for a day spa experience, how it would be. I assume you could use the pool which is right nearby. The pool area is pretty nice, and they have two hot tubs. There were a lot of families though, which might be a minus if you are looking for an adult experience. I did feel like the check-in is kind of an upsell gift shop with $100 bathing suits and trying to sell you overpriced products.

When I entered the lobby I had a seamless warm experience with the receptionist and got my sandals to then enter the women's room. I enjoyed the overhead shower, the nice quiet changing area, and the steam room which helped me relax more before going to the quiet area to wait for my massage. I now realize I should have gone for the 60min massage however the mini 30min massage is perfect and my masseuse, Linda, was phenomenal! She was a perfect blend of massaging needed areas a bit firmer than other areas and gave me a perfect well rounded massage that left me feeling significantly lighter and refreshed. My body feels so great that I will be remembering her for future visits! The sparkling wine after was a nice touch to relax with and I also enjoyed a cup of tea. Overall this was a superb experience and Spa Cerro is a place I am going to recommend to other local friends to go to when they need to relax and feel better. Well done Spa Cerro, thank you for your professionalism and detailed touches to create a such a wonderful relaxing experience. I am looking forward to coming back!

I can be pretty much a spa snob in this area I live at. I have experienced a few high end luxury…read morespas and this categorizes itself as it, but sadly it was very subpar. 3 stars only bc I wish I could give it 5 for my massage therapist Alejandra , she was good at what she does. This rating comes with everything else ; service , the very limited amenities, added fees for pool, no champagne . The bathroom is tiny, there's absolutely nothing to get ready with except for dry shampoo , deodorant. No blow dryer ? There's one shower. Yes one shower and yet multiple massage rooms ? Hmmm. So you have to basically wait to use it. There's a steam room and that's it. There's a poolside with a fee not included to the amenities of $45 weekend and $25 for weekdays. Even if there's a "package", for pool access and champagne -that's the first I had ever experienced that and thats off-putting. Parking is complimentary valet. I had to drive my car out when I left. Granted it was 3 cars down from their desk. However it's my birthday and it's suppose to be a luxury place? I don't feel like doing the valet for myself. Another note , on the forms , it asks what's the occasion or notes. I had wrote it was my birthday. Just as the previous reviews - they obviously don't read it but there was nothing special for it. Especially for spending $246 for a massage. Their lounge room is a bunch of chairs with audio ocean with bubbles on the wall- that was the only modern look to it. However, the first luxury spa without a glass of champagne offered. Why request it, aren't we all there to relax. It should be offered as most spas do. I gave this place a shot and it didn't give at all for the overall. However again, great massage with Alejandra , but overall everything else was mediocre. (And that's kindly putting it. Mediocre) Oh and gratuity is included ! 20% to the price of the massage so either you didn't like the massage or whatever reason - you're already paying the tip. So overall , amenities , valet, no champagne , no pool /hot tub, one shower , no greeting on birthday (don't expect doing a birthday here ) , I don't think I could fully recommend this place.

I called to book a 90-minute deep tissue massage, however they did not ask my name or really even care to confirm my visit time, so I thought ok fine, I'll just show up and hope for the best! Once I arrived I was kindly greeted, asked about my preferences and led into a nice, but somewhat "central" massage room. I am VERY used to receiving massages, but somehow this whole operation seemed a little rushed. Once I was on the massage table, my masseuse was very kind, asking questions to ensure I was comfortable, and provided a very nice massage session. However, these massage rooms are barely "rooms", and you can hear every patron entering, leaving, paying, talking, and even the music from the neighboring restaurants in the shopping center. My masseuse did his best to create a relaxing environment, utilizing a space heater and creating some white noise, but it was ultimately overshadowed by the staff having to speak from room-to-room to eachother mid-session, to ensure other patrons needs were being met. That being said, it was a nice massage. I was relaxed and felt great, until it came time to check-out... My 90-minute massage was fair, and cost $92, as advertised. Upon trying to leave a cash tip (I thought $10 would suffice) after paying by card. I was basically told that my tip amount was insufficient and that I would need to swipe my card again. Feeling bad, I did, only for the masseuse to FILL OUT HIS OWN determined tip on the iPad--an extra $15. I was honestly so taken aback that I didn't truly realize how violating it was until I left the building. It made the whole experience feel very scam-like, and unfortunately I don't plan to return, but if anyone reading this does want to give Panda Massage a try, do NOT let yourself be conned into tipping more than you feel appropriate!
