Stopped into Beauty Box for a quick brow cleanup while in SLO and it was a straightforward, pleasant experience. I got a simple brow wax cleanup. The technician was kind, patient, and efficient. The service itself was quick and precise, exactly what I was looking for without feeling rushed. They also offer threading for those who prefer that option. The space is not massive but it doesn't have to be what was most important is it felt clean and organized. It's not a big spa style environment, more of a focused beauty service spot, but everything felt tidy and professional. While I was getting my service done, my husband waited in the front area and mentioned the receptionist was very friendly and respectful. She made conversation with him while he waited, which he appreciated. The brow wax was $27 and we tipped $10. Overall it was a smooth, no fuss experience that did exactly what it needed to do. Holy smokes! That was the quickest and best full Brazilian and underarm wax I've had in a long time. Literally in and out in barely 15 minutes. The hard wax they use is amazing. No strips needed. It basically dries as soon as it's applied and can be ripped off within a minute. The owner was so sweet and professional. She gave me a few good tips for the next time I come in to make it easier. I got a lash lift today, the results are fine but my eyes burned so badly during it. She put the tint and the curling serum directly on my waterline and I could feel it going straight into my eye. I told her it was burning really badly and she just took it all off and they rushed me out. My eyes were bloodshot when I left and burned for a few more hours. She also didn't say a word the whole time and didn't explain anything she was doing. Bad experience. read more

I have never left without a positive experience the workers here are very kind, friendly, and always do a good job. They also are so quick which is surprising because of how precise they are. I got my eye brows laminated here today and I must say - I left impressed. Service was great, I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome immediately upon walking in. I arrived early and was taken in early. My appointment was estimated to take about a hour, the owner was nice enough to even shape my brows for me, and got my service done in 45 minutes so I could get back to work. I'm someone who self waxed my brows to the point they had not been in the best condition, so trust me when I say she had her work cut out for her. I called the salon about a hour prior to request special accommodation due to a spinal injury I have , they had been more than happy to accommodate this for me by having me sit in a chair during the service as I am unable to lay flat on my back. The simple fact they had been so quick to accommodate a customer , went miles for me and I was sure to leave a tip. The facility itself was very neat, clean and well kept. Parking was easy, I got a spot right away on a Friday at 3:00pm. If you are looking to get your eyebrows serviced in San Luis Obispo , I highly recommend this establishment. Attached to this review is a photo of my before and after , this is with tint , total for this service was $110.00 and extremely worth it. She refers to everyone by calling them love, darling, and gorgeous she is so kind-hearted and genuine. I can't think of many places that greet you with such kind words, and she knows her clients' names, too, even though she is busy and sees many people. My eyebrows are always on point, the best threader ever, and my lash lift lasts over a month and is absolutely a perfect curl.
