The overall…read morevibe here is something that everyone could easily get into- right from the first intro class. The lights and layout of the studio are gorgeous. Instructors are all friendly and helpful if you need extra attention. They ensure everyone knows what's going on before going onto the next move. Wednesday intro classes get pretty packed so I Saturday and Sunday intro classes are the way to go for anyone just starting out! Beth, Karen, Krystle, and Deanna have all been great instructors to me!

I hired Happy Little Brush Strokes as a painting activity for a bachelorette party, and the company was so easy to work with from start to finish. I reserved my date several months in advance because their calendar fills up quickly! You're able to choose one of the paintings from their website and adapt it to what you need. I chose to paint full-sized wine bottles (and place fairy lights inside of the bottle so it lights up!) since the bachelorette party was "wine themed." The price was $30 per person for the experience. I believe if you choose to paint a canvas, it's $25 per person. Happy Little Brush Strokes came all the way out to Greenport, Long Island to do this activity. The instructor, Bob, was an absolute delight, who was filled with so much positive energy! He provided everything we needed for the event (paint, brushes, water cups, the wine bottles, fairy lights). The only thing we needed to provide were tables, table cloths, and chairs for our group of 7. The experience took just over two hours, and everyone had an amazing time!

I found a community and safe space where I could truly express myself, explore new styles, and challenge myself in ways I never did before. The instructors are really supportive, encouraging, and talented. They create an environment where you feel seen, capable, and empowered, and the students cheer you on louder than anyone else. There's no judgment, no shaming and no pressure. just growth, confidence, and genuine support. This studio helped me reconnect with myself, build strength (inside and out), and try things I once thought were out of reach. I'm so grateful I got to meet all this amazing woman at DDF.

Polefly is essentially where I fell in love with the art of pole and Jess has set a standard for instruction that I've looked for in every studio I've attended since. She is highly technical and understands the mechanics of the body in a way that makes you feel really safe while you practice here. Poling can be scary but I never felt worried about injury at Polefly because Jess is very thoughtful and careful, she plans the lessons around you and your body, meeting you where you're at while still challenging you to try your best and push yourself a little more each time. Despite all of her extensive experience and technical prowess, Jess never makes you feel less than. So much of poling is as much mental as it is physical, and this space always feels and felt safe, supportive, and affirming. I grew so much here and I am so sad there are so many miles between me and this lovely space these days and always look forward to my next visit back. Thank you, Jess, for everything you do to make this space wonderful. Also: get here early, people. Sometimes the walk up the stairs is long.

We took a private pole dancing class at Polefly with Jess as part of a bachelorette party weekend…read more Everything was great--from the booking process to cost ($20/person for an hour class) to the class itself. Our group is very uncoordinated but we still had a really great time learning some moves and getting some exercise. The studio is clean and kept up well and Jess is a great and encouraging instructor and doesn't make you feel like an idiot (even if you know you're looking like one!). I can't speak to the normal classes here but would highly recommend booking a private event for a special birthday surprise or bachelorette weekend!
