They came out and did a full inspection of my fireplace and taught us some things about how to use the pilot and our remote. And good news, our fireplace was in good working order and we don't have any carbon monoxide issues or need the chimney swept. No additional service or fees. Honest, trustworthy service personnel and a company that I would recommend.

Different tech called today stating order is from the store and not custom so ready to install. We were like something isn't right. We even verified in Spanish to ensure language barrier wasn't the problem as they also had another person with them on the phone translating and we speak Spanish. We called company back complaining about shadiness and Chloe said manager would be reaching out. Man who called us back stated tech employee was "new" and doesn't know what he was taking about. When we relayed that we recorded the call as CO is a 1 party consent state he then changed his story claiming oh nevermind he's not new only the 1st tech was new and didn't know blah blah. STAY CLEAR. To the other review stating they were threatened with a defamation lawsuit oh I hope they try that with us because lucky for them our business has a fantastic attorney.

When I contacted this company to point out that I didn't need to be charged for an outlet and separate line to be installed for my electric fireplace since it was already present, the office doubled down claiming that I did not have an outlet installed. They did not believe me at all until I sent a picture of a very obvious electrical outlet. I ordered an electric fireplace that I wanted and they said they were willing to "install" the electric fireplace that I wanted for an increased labor fee, which I initially really appreciated. I then came to find out their installation involved simply leveling the unit, it was not fixed into place in any way, and actually almost fell out of the fireplace when my dog bumped into it. Because they didn't fix it into place, it makes a horrible sound during heating because it vibrates unevenly. Apparently this "leveling" is all that installation involves, for over $1000. I was told that the face plate for the fireplace would come and would be installed within 1.5 weeks of this leveling, possibly sooner. I paid for this all up front upon the leveling of the unit. Three weeks later, I called the office to ask why they hadn't contacted me yet, and they said they forgot to tell me that their supplier for the face plate had broken production equipment leading to a delay. So now it's weeks later and I just got the plate installed today. Meaning for 3 weeks my electric fireplace could have just fallen out. The end result is also poor. The faceplate that was installed is uneven and bows out a ton. I can fit my pinky finger into it. If you push on the fireplace the gap can be closed but slowly comes back. TLDR- triple check your quotes from this company and don't trust the timelines they give you, and the end result is probably not worth the price tag. There are certain things I would recommend having them do, like insulating a flue. But I would never recommend this company for electric fireplace installation. I really regret not just doing the work myself because it really is as easy as installing any other appliance.

What is NOT great service is the fact that their markup on parts is WAY out of line. The exact parts used...if I had known and purchased on Amazon would have been; Control Module - $60 (he charged me $215) Remote Control Unit - $109 (he charged me $375) I understand a 40% to 50% markup...even a 100% for smaller cost parts...but 300% ++ is just greed and maybe additional commission for the installer that said he was one of the owners or part of the owners family. Note: in his defense the remote was purchased because we couldn't move the furniture to give him access to a simple wall switch that he said would have cost me $15. A refund would have been nice He was very rude, unprofessional and dismissive. So disappointed with the lack of customer care. Especially being a loyal paying customer for years I've recommended this company to others. Had I of known this is how they treat their customers, I would have never recommended them.
