Then he asked if I wanted to give a tip. Of course I did, as this young man worked long and hard for 3+ hours. So I said of course. That was added. I asked this is just for you, right? Oh no - it is split that with the owner. What owners take money out of their employees tip who sweat and work on their hands and knees for hours cleaning duct vents? It took 15 minutes on the roof and that hardly seems like it should cost an extra $225, more than doubling the quote. Total scam.
