They removed the transmission, sent it out to be completely rebuilt, and then reinstalled it once the rebuild was finished. Throughout the entire process, they kept me updated and explained what was going on every step of the way. They were honest, professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process as stress-free as possible. My truck is running great, and I'm extremely happy with the work. I highly recommend Nicky, George, and the team at Affordable Auto Repair!

I need you to replace the o-rings connected to the AC compressor. I know this is the issue because there's a visible refrigerant leak/stain on top of the compressor. Also, my car make and model is notorious for this particular AC leak. Could you fix this?" George: "Ok we'll take a look at it." I come back to pick up the same day... Mechanic: "I filled it back up with refrigerant and dye because you have a 'pinhole' sized leak somewhere I can't find. When the refrigerant runs out and the air blows warm again, come back and see us so we can check it out." Me: "Okaaaay?" Me: Gets UV light to see the dye the put in, the dye confirms what i originally told them, i replaced the o-rings myself after air blows warm and refrigerant leaks out again. While they may do decent work overall, I will most certainly never be back because they gave me a band-aid solution and did not address what I initially told them to look at. I could've have gone to AutoZone and filled my car with refrigerant and dye for 2/3 the cost of what they did. I contacted the shop and sent a very professional message asking for a way to resolve the matter. After a week of no-reply, here is my review. 1/5 stars and would NOT recommend.

THIS REVIEW IS STRICTLY BASED ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED AS THEY DID NOT PERFORMSERVICE…read moreREPAIR ON VEHICLE I called the day prior to ask for his labor charge as I had gotten a quote from a previous shop whose labor charge was high, arriving in the morning, they give me a quote and it comes out higher than the first shop due to the fact that he is up charging astronomically on the parts he went from $600 for just left axel an no sway bar to $1000 for 1 axel and sway bars . MOOG sway bar links that are on the manufacturers website for $36-$50 per bar and on Amazon for $30 per bar for the exact manufacturer MOOG model number , He looks me dead in my face and proceeds to tell me he is charging $100 per bar. I don't want to even imagine what he was charging me per axle and struts, I then ask him if I buy the parts that he is going to buy, can I bring them in and he repairs the car he proceeds to tell me "no they put on quality parts Not over-the-counter" so because I would like to save $400-$600 on parts and buy the same exact parts from the manufacturers website and bring them into you they are not " Quality parts". They advertise "price match " but not once did he say if I found The exact same parts and manufacturer for a lower price would he match the price, they think because they advertise in the shop they are a "dealer alternative shop" that they can charge you an arm and a leg on aftermarket parts . It's crazy how I read the the reviews and one guy says he paid for your "premium parts" and he said they parts did not hold up to the "premium status " so do you really buy "quality " or "premium " parts as you say?????? He was not the only one fooled by that line. I understand yall running a business, but prices like that for parts are wild , i literally brought all the parts needed (MOOG) like he said for the axel and sway link and the struts for $400. "Quality parts" not a DIY but I am now thanks . I saved well over $900 talking to you people

The previous mechanic to this day takes no responsibility or accountability even when shown proof. Rob fit us in to his already busy schedule so that my poor son in law wouldn't miss any more time from work. He made sure the work was done safely and correctly.

Takes care of the issues with my father's car. My father is moving with a walker or cane, Rob asks if my father needs help. Rather than driving away, Rob waits it out. Dad promptly falls, and Rob hops out of the truck and helps dad into the condo. Rob called me to relate what he did and what happened. I immediately left work, second time Dad has fallen today (not unusual to fall [basically sit down on the floor and not be able to get up]). I see Rob's truck in a parking lot for Chipotle or Chick-Fil-A... guess CFA and do a fist bump with a nothing short of a savior. Their reply when leaving a message is to have a "blessed day." Rob and his wife (on the phone)... you two have not only provided an affordable mobile mechanic service but have provided a blessed day for my father and myself. My father passes along "Praise the Lord for Rob and his family." He wants me to add that he has now added you to his prayer list.
