The day of the event Francesca arrived on time and started preparing the meal right away. She came very prepared and had everything she needed to prepare the meal. We had set times for the appetizers for arriving guest to enjoy and a set meal time for the entrees. Everything was prepared on time. Francesca prepared a large table full of beautiful appetizers inside our home and a buffet-style lunch in the backyard. All my guests were blown away by the presentation, taste and quality of her food. Her food complimented our party design. Francesca is friendly, timely, well prepared and her food is delicious. Candy was able to keep me calm during many panic attacks and was SO flexible with various obstacles (last minute venue change, time change, working with last minute vendors, etc.). She was always quick to respond and gave me lots of different options without being pushy at all. She made herself available and did her best to work around my schedule. I was so surprised to see how great everything was on the day of. It definitely surpassed my own expectations (even though I had done most of the booking haha). I couldn't believe how well she was able to get the entire wedding together, mind you there were 500+ guests, 2 different receptions going on at the same time, 1 cranky bride (haha) and we had plenty of "uh-oh" and "oh shoot" moments. Together with her team, they spoke fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, and English - which was a big relief for me as I had important guests from all over Asia. She was able to talk to the most important guests at the wedding: my grandma, my mom, and my dad in Mandarin which made them feel at ease on such a stressful day. I really appreciated her sweet, gentle, and professional demeanors when she talked to the elder guests at my wedding. Honestly, Candy did such an incredible job and we love hanging out with her so much that my husband and I invited her and her fiancé over to our house for dinner! Candy is just the type of girl that once you work with her you just want to her in your life, even though there is no more wedding planning! We had a huge guest list, not a huge space for that many people and two cultures to work with. Beth was the Wedding Coordinator at our wedding a few weeks ago, and my wife and I are so happy…read morethat we decided to work with her. Beth was so cool, so helpful, and so kind. Our wedding day involved a location change from the ceremony location at First Congregational Church of LA to the reception location at The Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. Beth handled all the necessary ceremony coordination stuff like a true professional, and then without any issues she was able to zoom over to the reception venue to make sure that everything was set-up and ready to go before guests arrived. When we arrived at the reception, not only was everything so beautiful and perfect but Beth made sure to coordinate with the DJ and direct us for our grand entrance. She made sure to communicate with catering, the florist, and all the other vendors so that my wife and I could just enjoy our day. She even made sure that we were not bombarded by guests during dinner so that we could have time to eat. Throughout the rest of the night, she carried out the events of the agenda and really made everything seemless and stress-free.
