The food is actually really good at The Chomp House Grill. The Chomp House Grill is located at the Wild Florida Airboats, a popular attraction in Kenansville Florida. It originally opened in 2013 and has been a popular casual dining spot for locals and tourists. My partner had surprised me with tickets to the Wild Florida Airboats and park. After we rode the airboats and visited the exhibit, we stopped by to eat lunch at The Chomp House Grill. It's open seven days a week, from 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. It's a great spot to grab lunch or an early dinner after the airboat tours and other activities at Wild Florida. It's a casual dining spot and has a wide range of foods. Some of the more popular items include the gator bites, catfish basket, and the pulled pork sandwich. The restaurant also serves a variety of sides such as hush puppies and coleslaw. We ended up selecting the following Pulled Pork Sandwich with Mac n Cheese Cheeseburger with French Fries Onion Rings The wait time wasn't too bad, less than 15 minutes! Those onion rings were absolutely delicious! It was perfectly fried and crispy. When you took a bite, the whole onion didn't come off! It was so good! The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. It was so flavorful! if I end up visiting Wild Florida Airboats another time, I'd eat at the Chomp House Grill again. Food was amazing and the price was inexpensive.

After enjoying the safari we decided to get something to eat at the cafe. They have a large indoor and outdoor sitting. The service was pretty fast and the employees were friendly. Both of my kids liked their food. The Mac and cheese was basic box Mac nothing great, the corn bread was very soft and not dry. We also had the Florida platter which had fried gator, grouper and shrimp which was good but the gator was a bit over cooked (they don't have Tatar sauce, but the aioli was pretty good). Overall if was a good option while on the park and we enjoyed it.

First time here we came to the safari drive thru and saw the restaurant and decided to try it, We had the Florida platter which consisted of fish, gator, grouper and Shrimp with garlic bread and alioli sauce with 2 sides which were cornbread and fries for the kids tenders and fries and cheeseburger and fries with the special cup that included a swap drink. Kids food was good and the drink was super cute. Our platter was ok the fried gator was over cooked all else was ok. Service was average nothing special order through the window and they would call you number for pick up.

We visited the Drive Thru Safari Park then to the walk thru Gator Park and decided to have lunch here. The menu is simple. My family of 4 ordered the following: 1. The Swamp Platter: Per my husband and 10yo son, the gator bites were good, and the meat was not moist. They said it tastes like chicken and dipped it with ranch. The catfish was alright. The batter broke off easily, so then you're holding onto the fish to try to dip. The fish had a little fishy smell still, but the fish was pretty chewey to enjoy. 2. Side of onion rings: very crispy but missing beer battered flavor, though I'm not sure if thats the batter they use. I'm just used to it. 3. Side if cheese curds: little small pieces of cheese bites. I think it's mozzarella, but bc it's so little unlike a mozarella cheese sticks. But it was good. Be careful biting into it as it's hot to bite into. 4. Slush drinks: I ordered the Safari and Swamp Slushy. It's pretty good but becomes a little too sweet when it melts out. The Safari Slushy tastes much better than the Swamp Slushy. It comes with either a plastic souvenir mason jar for $7 and no refilll or an animal cup with a straw for $17 with $3 refills. The service is friendly and quick. The staff there knows what they're doing, especially when there's a large field trip there today, so they were feeding the students on top of taking orders from the park visitors. There's a shaded picnic bench area to eat at and some rocking chairs laying aroundn maybe for a nap after eating all the fried food. The breeze was nice, and the peacocks roaming around was a nice sight with nature surrounding us.

Good hot food for lunch. Does a good catfish fry and bartered gator bites. Aioli sauce is good. Mac and cheese is generic and bland (not salty for kids). The menu is good with its limited fare. I enjoyed the fried food. Don't know how the sandwiches are like but the other guests seem to enjoy it.

Wow! What a jewel in the middle of nowhere. Brought a group of seniors out to ride the airboats. And decided on lunch. The Philly was one of my top three Philly's I have eaten. And I have been to Philadelphia. Food is cooked to order. Nice maple flavored baked beans. Others had pulled pork which had great flavor. Crispy fries. The chef. Yes house chef took time to talk to us. Nice touch. Will be back.

Food was awful. Gator bites were morsels of fried batter. Absolutely no flavor to them.

So as we ordered our food, we ordered onion rings also. We ordered a Garlic Burger with Waffle Fries and a drink ($13.99), a Brake Burger with Waffle fries and a drink ($13.99) and a Smash Burger adding bacon with waffle fries and a drink ($15.20) an order of onion rings ($5.99). The onion rings have the potential to be amazing as they appear to be thin cut and battered in house. The only draw back with the onion rings, fries and burger is that they seem to be a bit heavy on the salt. I could not finish my fries and only ate a few onion rings. The restaurant is in a former "Filling Station," or gas station if you prefer. You are sitting in the garage as you eat your food, although the garage doors are closed and the restaurant is air conditioned. There are art prints of vehicles on the walls along with car manufacturer signs and hubcaps. I like this place and will love it with less salt. The staff is nice and helpful in answering questions about the menu. I can recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Out of all the restaurants still in business in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area of the Space Coast, the one that has truly lasted the test of time is The Burger Inn. Located on US-1, The Burger Inn is a testament to the city's history as the restaurant was first founded back in 1952. That was a time when Melbourne was the eastern point for cattle herding in Central Florida. US-1 was still a dirt road back then. As a matter of fact, The Burger Inn is one of the five-oldest restaurants still in business in Brevard County. By age, it is the second-youngest (Dixie Crossroads in Titusville, FL is younger while Ashley's, Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, and the Old Fish House Bar & Grille are older). The age The Burger Inn shows is more a testament to its delightfully tacky charm more so than be dated. In short, their age equates to experience and wisdom that still makes them a popular choice amongst restaurant-goers anywhere, both locals and tourists alike. The Burger Inn is located on the eastside of US-1, just a little ways north of the Eau Gallie Art District, but just a little ways south of the Big Orange roadside attraction. Take note that the entrance into The Burger Inn is a "right turn only," so patrons going south will need to turn in at the light before or after The Burger Inn and take the residential roads to it. The Burger Inn, as mentioned earlier, is delightfully tacky in its charm. It has the updated design of a 1960s drive-thru diner with its bright colors of the time. Think of a lot of red and yellow, neon lights, and black-and-white checker floors. If it further helps, think of movies like Grease. The majority of seating is outdoors with stone chairs and tables which were famously used in old-school garden parks of the 1970s with their tile mosaic designs. The seating is shaded and have roll-down canvas covers to block sunlight and wind just in case. The bar area is still intact with all the old-school cookery right in front of you. But take note people were "smaller" back then so if you are bigger or taller person, sitting at the bar will be uncomfortable. This is a burger dive bar so most of your food will be of that preference. But unlike other places, they still place precedence on their classic burgers, sides, and milkshakes. You can truly attest to the rest of their menu if their basics are delicious, and I will say their regular cheeseburger, fries, and shake are more than good, but have that satisfaction from eating a good ole' fast food meal back when such was done with actual care. That doesn't mean The Burger Inn has not kept with the times. They have updated their menu to include present day offerings such as chili-cheese fries, onion rings, mozerella cheese sticks, and much more. Finally on the food, they do have a challenge in which you eat a 10-patty cheeseburger, a large order of chili-cheese fries, and a 32 oz. shake in less than 30 minutes, you will get a free t-shirt and your meal is free. If you fail, you pay $40 for the attempt (which is not bad for a price if you think about it). Actually, everything on their menu is priced decently. A burger is about $5, which is fair given inflation, but worth it when you are eating a wholesome old-fashioned burger. Probably the only Issue worth addressing is the restroom. Remember how I said the bar seems to be made for people at a time when they were smaller. The same goes for the restroom. It is literally only a single unisex room that somehow is smaller than the space in a portable potty. The toilet literally runs under the sink. Talk about a tight squeeze. Despite that minute details, I have never been disappointed eating here at The Burger Inn. They've always been consistent with their food, especially during a time when specialty groups seem to naysay on what we can or cannot eat. Ergo, I am giving them five-out-of-five stars. Definitely give The Burger Inn a chance.

Happy hour was just starting or had started, but there wasn't anything on the happy hour menu that stood out to us. They had the Suncreek Brewery Strawberry ale on tap so I had a couple glasses of that. It's perfect for the summer. It's a very light and very refreshing beer. My husband drank Yuengling. We both end up getting a taster of Bourbon later on. My husband went with the six year Willet And really enjoyed it. He said it definitely got better the more that you drank. I opted for something that I've seen in the stores but haven't purchased yet. I was able to try both the dancing panda eight year as well as the dancing panda 10 year. A cheaper bottle of bourbon but definitely good flavor. The 10 was my favorite. For food, I got an order of the S & S sweet potato fries, which comes with a light caramel drizzle. These fries are cooked perfectly and so delicious. My husband got the garlic Parm wings, and while the crunch was perfect on them.(he ordered them crunchy) -he was not a fan of their garlic Parmesan sauce. It just felt like the garlic, overpowered any of the Parmesan. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and the two bartenders that were working the bar, were excellent and very attentive.
