Thanks for quick reply on yelp from mgmt to submit review into google or TripAdvisor. I hope they can acomódate a couple dinners to appease the disappointing 2 dishes on a recent May Monday. Shall see.

For Years, The Only Reason I Still Go Here Is Because Of The Chef and Certain Staff......The Chef makes the Food, so the Food Too! I'm almost always by myself and sit at the bar, unless I'm surprised by family and they join me. Standards have lowered a bit within the restaurant, but thankfully Food and Certain Staff are keeping it afloat.

Yes, it's a bit pricey, but so is everything these days. Yes, the noise levels can be prohibitive to intimate conversations, but I found it soothing. My server was quick and efficient. The bar was responsive to special requests. My lunch was exquisitely seasoned; the steak tender and succulent. I had no complaints other than to scold myself for staying away too long.

    Deviled eggs w/ bacon

The reviews are mixed but give them a try. The place is located in the Augusta mall area and it's very popular. I ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and the petite pork chops. The eggs: I didn't taste much brown sugar but "deviled" part of the egg was very creamy. There could have been more flavor of the bacon but overall, it did its job as an appetizer, it held the hunger pangs back. The petite pork chops were cooked nicely. Very tender and you could cut with the fork. The potato was also baked tender. This was my first time ever having a pork and apple combo but when the 2 are paired, I understand the hype now. Overall, it was a Saturday night, potential slow service is expected but food still arrived in a decent manner. I would consider this a family style restaurant but there were also a lot of celebrations happening and intimate moments. If you're in the area, give them a try.

    Teriyaki-Glazed Grilled Chicken

The teriyaki chicken was not that good and it taste rubbery. The teriyaki glaze tastes like a tv dinner. I got a Caesar Salad that didn't taste fresh Either. it was too much dresssing which the dressing wasn't that good Cesar dressing or it was premade and sat in a fridge till someone orders. I was not impressed at all I would do 2 stars but our server was great!

Had my birthday dinner there. Food and service were great. Wasn't too crowded that Saturday afternoon. Mello atmosphere.

The Chop House located on Wrightsboro Road in Augusta is a local favorite. Service was great, we were greeted at the door by the hostess with a warm smile... which for me is always appreciated also excepted. Our server arrived at the table shortly after being seated. I had the smoke brisket sandwich with a house salad and my wife had calamari and shrimp with a ceaser salad. The food arrived at the table hot and smelled really good.. might have been a tad hungry! I have always admired the atmosphere and ambiance... just a real cozy vibe

We came for our anniversary and it was so worth it. Our waitress Kaitlyn was amazing and so sweet. She was very attentive and never once had to ask for anything cause she was on top of it. She gave us suggestions that we took and it was the best suggestions. Definitely coming back cause the food was amazing and flavorful. Definitely recommend to everyone. It is pricey but worth it.

They have a valet system, so no worries about parking. Staff have been very professional and friendly, so 5/5 stars for that. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon, medium rare. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly! It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes covered in a crispy layer of batter, which all complimented the steak well. I tried their tuna tartare, which had an interesting take on what the tuna was served on. I've always been used to tuna tartare being accommodated with bread, but this was sushi rice compacted and covered in some light batter. Felt like I was eating tuna sushi. Apply some of the sauces it comes with and seriously was fantastic. I also got to try 4oz of their Japanese A5 Wagyu. Super expensive; $80 dollars for four ounces, but worth the experience. You cook the thin pieces over a hot stone and apply some of the seasonings like salt it comes with. I cooked each side for about 30 seconds, sprinkled some salt, and it melted in my mouth! I ended my meal with their carrot cake and it was moist, not overly sweet, and had a great savory taste. I really enjoyed my time here and certainly will be back again. There is a bar and at the back of the restaurant, you can see the baseball field. Restrooms were clean, but only one stall from what I've seen in the men's room. Overall 5/5 steak house experience.

I'll tell you what made me unhappy. We were there on a 95 degree day. When we were seated our waitress brought us a carafe of water and 2 glasses. Room temperature water and no ice. I asked for ice and she brought us a cup of ice. Not really enough for 2 people and it melted down as soon as I poured water over it. I figured that the only way I would get ice was to order a drink, so I ordered ice tea. That usually comes with ice. Right?? Well our waitress said that she had to brew me a fresh cup of tea which when you pour that over ice the ice melts away and again I had a glass of room temperature tea. I couldn't get a cold drink here to save my life. And did I mention that it was 95 degrees out? My wife ordered a Rubin sandwich, not realizing that it was a spicy sandwich. One bite and she was done. She doesn't like spicy food so I traded her for my simple bacon egg sandwich on a bagel and I had her spicy Rubin. And it was spicy! They had a mustard that must've been made with jalapeño and if you like heat, you will like this. Plenty of parking. Full bar. Clean restroom. Very average.

The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review!
