Got the "The Chori-Man Breakfast Burrito" with no protein. Good size and hefty. First time trying a breakfast burrito with runny eggs. After taking a bite, I still prefer my breakfast burritos with scrambled eggs over runny eggs. They also include Tomatillo and Habanero salsas. Ordering is done at the window. When your order is ready, they will exit their door, call your name and bring you your food. I went there on a Saturday around 09:00. There was already a small crowd waiting for their orders to be completed. They do provide some stools outside on the sidewalk for you to sit while waiting. TCM is located in the middle of a residential area. Parking was a little challenging. I ended up parking about a block away near the school.

The Chori-Man Breakfast Burrito (Red Chicken Chorizo - mild spice, over-easy aka runny for egg, one habanero sauce and one salsa verde)

The Chori-Man is a popular breakfast burrito spot in San Pedro. This take-out only shop started as a chorizo wholesaler with customers like Salazar and Sonoratown. The owner is a 4th generation chorizo maker who actually dropped out of UCLA to start his own chorizo business. In 2017, the owner found this spot and began to sell his own food menu. [Parking]: Street parking only and streets are pretty narrow in this part of the neighborhood, but it was not impossible to find an available spot and I parked about one block away from the shop. [Atmosphere]: Take-out only with a dozen plastic stools just outside of the shop and no restroom; however Colossus (a popular bakery shop with several locations in Los Angeles) is located right next to The Chori-Man so many customers actually made a side stop and ordered a cup of coffee. [Menu]: I asked the cashier for recommendation and she recommended Red Chicken Chorizo (mild spice). The Chori-Man Breakfast Burrito has 5 protein options - Red Chicken Chorizo (mild spice), Green Pork Chorizo (non-spicy), Maple Habanero Pork Chorizo (spicy), Red organic Soyrizo (mild spice), and Chile Verde - Pork in Salsa Verde (mild spice). In addition customer will need to tell whether they want their eggs over-easy or over-hard. Other food options include sandwiches, chilaquiles, and a la carte orders like beans / rice / chips etc. For drinks only two options - aqua fresca of the month or pepsi products. *** The Chori-Man Breakfast Burrito (Red Chicken Chorizo - mild spice, over-easy aka runny for egg, comes with one habanero sauce and one salsa verde sauce - $13.50): I highly recommend over-easy egg option as I immediately felt the impact of eggs-plosion after taking the first bite. While green salsa verde sauce was good, the red habanero was next-level good and spicy level wasn't so unbearable that I couldn't enjoy my burrito. Breakfast burrito itself was actually pretty solid, but it missed the 'it' factor and I think it probably has to do with lack of texture due to grounded meat. Portion was generous enough to break it into two separate smaller meals. *** Overall The Chori-Man Breakfast Burrito reminded me of breakfast burrito from Nate's Korner in Santa Ana, but each burrito has its pros and cons like Chori-Man Breakfast Burrito = amazing red habanero sauce and Nate's Korner breakfast burrito = amazing crunchy texture. I am still a fan of their chorizo breakfast burrito and it is probably still worth a stop for anyone visiting San Pedro.

Pork chili Verde over eggs. A well stocked and flavorful chili Verde!

Was craving chorizo this morning. If you're looking for a good quality chorizo, this is the place to get it. The flavors are incredible, the quality just as good. The staff is friendly and helpful when ordering. They even have bulk chorizo in there tall freezer inside. The menu is small bit mighty, and you'll definitely find something you like. They're chile Verde, also really good. The sauce is not as thick as you'd find at some of the other Latin places in Pedro, but the flavor is incredible. I gave four stars because the size of their burritos has significantly changed. I believe that the strength of a good burrito is also the balance of the burrito... And if you have a very large portion of tortilla and not a large portion of the quantity of the products inside, the balance is off. Everything tasted great, but when you're paying $15 for a burrito....you're not paying for the less than $1 tortilla.

One of these ginormous burritos can definitely feed two... but your girl and her husband are gluttons. We don't live in the neighborhood so we each got our own. Hubby got the breakfast burrito with maple habanero pork chorizo and I got the chicken adobada burrito. They were both really good and the staff gave us extra salsa (we didn't have to ask, it's like they knew we would need more). The staff are really friendly. While there isn't a nice in door seating area, they kindly leave chairs outdoors so that you can enjoy the burrito immediately. Not gonna lie, since there weren't too many people around, we used one of these chairs as a table

check out my video review on tiktok: betthanyx great no-frills grab and go breakfast burrito spot with many unique meat options. the burrito itself isn't mind blowing but good for the price! (13.50 + 2 sauces). I like that they ask how well cooked you want the egg as well.

Was looking for a burrito place nearby for lunch while I was working an event at the double tree by the docks. Super close by and hidden in a local community, needless to say, I'm ecstatic I stumbled upon this gem! If you love chorizo, like SERIOUSLY LOVE Chorizo, then you gotta check out The Chori-Man. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and it was stuffed with a ton of meat and not over portioned with one of any ingredient. There's multiple options of chorizo flavor to choose from and for the price you pay, it's definitely on par with any burrito joint in the area. Also got the chilaquiles which was pretty bomb with a medium spice flavor to it. For what you pay for, the portions were definitely more than enough to share with. Greeted by a friendly cashier at the window, it's always a plus when there's positive vibes especially being a first time customer not knowing what to expect. The cook time wasn't too long either. Overall the experience and food was well worth it! If I'm in the San Pedro area again for breakfast, definitely would consider making another trip. Only knock is that there's just small seats outside the shop as there's no indoor area. It's coastal weather so it's not like you'll be sweating just probably best to accommodate yourself and eat in your whip.

If you're anywhere near San Pedro, The Chori-Man is a must-visit spot. Hands down, some of the best burritos I've ever had--fresh, hearty, and absolutely packed with flavor. The tortillas are soft and perfectly warm, the fillings are generous, and every bite feels like it was made with care. I tried the breakfast burrito with beans, eggs, and chorizo, and it was perfection. The chorizo has that perfect balance of spice and smokiness, and it's not greasy like at other places. You can taste the quality in every bite. What I also love is how consistent they are. Everything feels crafted, not rushed. Even when they're busy, the staff is friendly and makes sure you're taken care of. The foil wrapping and sticker seal show they take presentation and freshness seriously--perfect for grabbing on the go. If you want a real local gem that puts passion into their food, look no further. San Pedro is lucky to have The Chori-Man, and after eating here, you'll see why people can't stop talking about it. Pro tip: don't sleep on their breakfast burritos--game changer! Try the WAP drink!

Chilaquiles that ended up in trash because they were so soggy they were inedible :(

CHILAQUILES ARE SOGGY! got not one but two orders. got them home within minutes and not a crispy chip in sight. Considering each plate, adding meat for an extra charge was about $17 pretty annoying that neither one has a decent chip in the order. Ordered through Postmates and was told I couldn't get a refund, so here I am :(

In my quest for the best breakfast burrito I was referred to The Chori-Man by a friend and quickly backed up by a handful of other friends. The Chori-Man is located in a largely residential neighborhood on the corner of Alma and 23rd. By its location and my observation, it is primarily patronized by locals and people that know (now you know). The food - a Chori-Man breakfast burrito with runny eggs and soyrizo (yes the potatoes were crispy and the cheese well melted) accompanied by both green and red sauce (red has a tasty kick to it, whereas the green is tasty with little heat). Oh so good, the quality is all there. This will not knock you over with its size, but it packs a lot of taste in a well put together package. I was politely greeted with a warm smile letting me know I would be comfortable asking questions. All questions answered and I was on my way. While waiting, I was greeted by a guy who I'm guessing is the Chori-Man (how lucky was that). He asked what I ordered and I let him know and with a big smile, he said I hope you enjoy. Shortly, my burrito was ready and was brought out for me to dine on their outside sidewalk (chaired dining area). The Chori-Man came out and brought me a sample of their vegan soup, as he thought I might like it and said "a lot of people sleep on their soup." I think they are just eating their way through the menu and have r found it yet, and now that I know I will be back again. Overall, top tier breakfast burrito, with a local flavor of food and hospitality. I will be back for more as I confess the Chori-Man is worth the trip!

Been coming here for years... Every time I come visit my sister's fam in San Pedro we come here for the breakfast burrito. I get the red breakfast burrito. Always fresh, filling and tasting. Get your eggs runny! They have little plastic stools to seat on but we usually take it to go. Service is friendly and fast. It's located right in a quiet neighborhood right beside a cute bakery.

They pretty much ignore you for a good few minutes, probably hoping you'll go away, as they seem engrossed in doing whatever job is at hand. Then, when they finally come up, they are less than friendly. Maybe it's working in the cold, but I dread going there. Which is a pity, as the meats are superior at Bristol farms. But I still quite like Bristol farms. It seems overall to provide premium quality product in a "country store" vibe.

Bristol Farms was here before Whole Foods was ever part of the high end grocery store chains…read more Although this location is smaller than the location in Manhattan Beach, it still has a huge selection. My main gripe about today's visit is that there was only one cashier who was in deep conversation with the customer in front of me. Granted she was assisting the customer with a concern, but I was in a hurry. I could have used the self service checkout, but I had fresh poke which I love from the self serve station. I didn't have the code to get a price ($22.00 for a pint), which is way out of line for the size of the container, but then again they used fresh fish in the poke and not fish that was previously frozen. The store is well stocked and neatly organized. The meat counter and deli service is outstanding. They just need more cashiers at this store, at least one more to accommodate the line.
