The place feels like something a king would relax in: full of warm colors, beautiful lighting and well-stocked bar, and comfortable accommodation. No, they didn't turn their noses up at me when I walked in like some people may be afraid of, but the owners did seem so focused on certain guests that I felt like a bother asking for a cigar. Overall the cigar selection was quite nice but there was no hospitality past that on the guy's part. I get the feeling that they are gonna be much warmer to you if you know what you're doing, but for a young guy like me there was no "do you need help with anything?" Selection, cut choice, etc. even after I told him I was new to cigars (I'm in fine dining, so I'm personally very attentive to those specifics, and that's entirely what my tip is based on). This was all fine, so I didn't bother trying anything more as it was close to closing time, but the one thing that really disappointed me was that the lamb I ordered tasted like straight fish oil. I'm assuming it was cooked in the same pan as the salmon was. For my part, I didn't bring it up, so who's to say if they would have jumped into action to make it right. I ate what I could stand, paid, and my friend and I left. The ambiance and atmosphere is so nice, and is definitely the focus but the food does not disappoint. The indoor/outdoor bar is beautiful, and with heaters outdoors can be enjoyed at all times of the year. The service is amazing, and our Sunday Brunch was made that much more amazing with the help of Tony in the humidor, Bezzy and Sydney behind the bar, and Jeff in the kitchen. For Brunch we had the Steak and Eggs and Eggs Benedict, both were absolutely fantastic. Finished our plates and to drink we had the signature smoked old fashioned and the midnight in Paris. Whoa - this IS the best creation since sliced bread!!!! We went based on the reviews from Yelp. They are 100% accurate. The bacon wrapped dates - heaven! The lamb sandwich - wowza! The surf and turf - the bomb! The drinks are very creative and have a unique taste and twist to them. Impossible to recreate. Amanda was great. She had a lot of tables as the night went on, but she did a great job. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. There was a very good sax player on Saturday. The ONLY suggestion I have is : need a dessert menu! I had the one dessert they offered (macaroons bites and cheesecake bites) and it was less than desirable. Other than that, all was perfect. On Valentine's Day we ventured up to this new spot to check out their new brunch menu including superb Steak and Eggs, fresh French Toast launched that very day, as well as a killer Breakfast Burger, Mimosas, Bloody Marys and a fantastic signature Old Fashioned. So, let's light up a cigar, sip on the Cellar Signature Smoked Old Fashioned, and get some stellar food. Who's hungry? Nothing goes as well with a freshly lit cigar than a perfectly balanced old fashioned. The Cigar Cellar's Cellar Signature Smoked Old Fashioned is one experience cocktail to behold! Executed flawlessly, the cocktail is placed in a dome and filled with smoke and presented to the customer and the dome removed and the smoke released unveiling the beautiful old fashioned inside. Beyond the beautiful presentation, the cocktail itself is a flavor extravaganza starting sweet and boozy and ending with a light smoke finish. This is a must try! All of their glass wear and cocktails are presented well, we loved the design on the Bloody Mary glass in particular.  Stunning. From the brunch menu, we selected the French Toast, Breakfast Burger, and Steak and Eggs. Starting with the French Toast was pretty spectacular with a slight crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. From the crunch of the nuts, the tang of the fruit, and the right amount of maple syrup, the toast had a ton of flavor all the way around. The second entrée we sampled was the Breakfast Burger with Bravas Patatas.  This delicious option has everything you'd want with a savory runny egg, hearty-cut bacon, gooey sharp cheddar cheese and double angus patties all encompassed in a toasty-buttery bun. The burger is perfectly seasoned and is a great bite! The accoutrement to the burger were the Bravas Patatas that were perfectly cooked and crisp, hearty, and warm, topped with a spicy, sweet aioli that's amazingly good. Our pro tip is to put some of the potatoes and aioli on the burger, you'll thank us. Of all the bites we tried, our favorite had to be the superb Steak and Eggs. Fall-apart tender and meaty pieces of steak atop of some crunchy, sweet, spicy potatoes and grits and next to that sensationally seasoned over-medium eggs! Just imagine the meaty and tender steak mixed with the crunch of the potatoes, spiciness and sweetness of the grits and sauce, then even more taste with the addition of the runny egg to liven up the dish with some savor. Can't stop thinking about all the flavors combined; we'd recommend getting all the ingredients together in one bite. Divine. As we sat by the fire on the patio, we lightly chatted with a couple at a table near us and finished sipping on our drinks. This will be a Valentine's Day to remember for sure. This place had the best service! I mean the nicest owner, servers, bartenders, and the chef was cool as well! They had a great selection of cigars, and Jeddida who helpes us pick our cigars was awesome. Even the other customers there were great! Everyone called us by our names. The Kennesaw area is finally complete. My wife and I were blown away by the Cigar Cellar. I've been to some of the best cigar lounges on the East Coast from Manhattan to Miami... and some of the not-so-great. From the moment you enter CC you feel the vibe. We were greeted by Jimmy and escorted to the humidor. We put our trust in his wisdom for a cigar selection and it was spot on. My wife and I both, really enjoyed our cigars. Jimmy also recommended a white pinot for my wife, and I enjoyed the Smoked Old Fashion. Upon leaving we met the owner (Eric) and its clear why CC will be a success. Cigar selection is limited and cumbersome when busy Rules inhibit fun Wait staff comes across as snobby My Experience: Party of four on a Saturday night... We arrived at 7:15 pm and were told that the main room was fully reserved, so they sat us in the patio... We offered to pay $100 to sit in the main room and they refused...Not a problem... We all bought cigars and cocktails and they divided us up into 2 tables along the fence... The seating was less than ideal as we were lined up against the fence, divided into two tables of 2 people and could only talk to the person immediately next to us... I was told that I couldn't stand and talk as it interfered with the wait staff (there was only 1 other table in the patio and a few girls sitting at the bar)... I asked our waitress if we could sit at the table at the FAR END of the patio as it was more conducive to conversation... She indicated that all the seats were reserved and our present location was all that was available... Two hours later, not one of the main room's tables had anyone seated at them.... Finally, around 10:00 pm, 2 tables had people at them.... After spending over $700 on booze and cigars, our waitress informed us that we had to move to the main room as they were closing the patio due to the cold temperatures (60 degrees, 10:50 pm)... We decided to just wrap it up for the night, so we just asked for the check... As we paid, I noticed that the table at the end of the patio never had anyone seated at it at any time during the evening.... Be aware... They will tell you seats are reserved for people who never show up.... Could be discrimination (or something worse)!!!! read more

We were very hopeful to have a great place close to home. I can say that the service was very friendly and personable. The menu was enticing, but disappointing. We love octopus and how tender it is normally. However, the octopus here said it was cooked sous vide which should be tender, but it was tough and fishy and seemed more like it was fried. We have never had octopus taste so fishy before. The dates seemed old and double cooked. The short rib was cold on top. The drinks were fairly strong, but pricey for Kennesaw. I was hoping we wouldn't smell like cigars when we got home, but even though it wasn't smokey, we do smell and it was cold at the bar due to the ventilation I believe. This place is a great concept, but disappointing compared to our normal Atlanta spots. We will just make the drive downtown for the amount of money we spent here, next time. read more
