There are several different "sheds" which are basically huge barns that house tons of different local vendors--everything from produce, plants, ready made food, apparel, sweet treats, handmade crafts, coffee and other drinks, etc. We had a blast looking around each of the sheds and saw lots of interesting items. We didn't end up buying anything, but I would love to go back again. The market is open on Saturdays year round, and even in the coldest January weather there were a lot of people there! They have extended hours in the summer months. One of the best parts of visiting the market was the ample free parking in their lots. We also had fun exploring the neighboring shops and restaurants! There are several farm markets close by who are offering the same fruits and vegetables at a lower cost. I understand that people have to make a living, but I would like to see something here that nobody else is offering. Something that would make me want to support this venue. It does make up for it in the unique crafts from local artists. There are also plenty of food vendors. Free parking is available around downtown and in the parking lot behind the farmers market.
