The staff is super sweet, funny, and professional. They remember my regular purchase and get it for me as soon as I walk in the door without my having to say anything. Although the sidewalks outside are often littered with trash, the inside of the store is clean, neat, and smells really good. I appreciate the mask wearing. My brand (Export A Ultra Lights) is slightly more expensive at the City Smoke Shop than other places, but it is convenient for me and I like shopping there which is always an uplifting experience. I don't think so. I used to buy glass pipes here all the time. I don't need anything fancy, just a basic small glass pipe. The pipes at this place were inexpensive and you could usually negotiate the price too. I went back the other day and the prices had gone way up ($12 for pipes that used to be $5). I was also annoyed that I had to wait for the guy's long conversation with his friends to end before he acknowledged me. No budging on the price either. Today I went to Golden Smoke House on Rainier and found an even better quality pipe for less than $5. Two stars only because they have a good selection of wraps, but this is not a good enough reason for me to return. read more

Don't come in for any kind of vaping products. I came in looking for an external 18650 battery charger, a VERY basic and extremely common thing found in every single vape shop. Not only did they not know what I was talking about, I had to actually explain to them what a battery charger was, because they said, "oh just plug in your vape to a charging cord"...if they knew anything about vape products, they would know that plugging in your vape to charge, instead of taking out the batteries and charging them externally, decreases the longevity of your batteries, and your mod. They had zero idea what I meant by 18650 batteries, and I had to actually explain to them that those are the batteries that go into the box mods they sell. If you're gonna sell vape products, know your shit, because batteries & battery chargers are honestly the basics of vaping. read more

First, let me tell you that I am an avid hookah smoker and that I used to frequent the different lounges in Seattle. When I decided to bite the bullet and purchase my own, I came to The Smoke House. Saif, the owner, is one of the most nicest people that you'll ever meet. In fact, after my purchase, he invited my friend and I to have a hookah session with him at the shop. This was a few months ago. Nowadays, I go there to buy my shisha because they have a broad selection of brands and flavors, with competitive prices to go along with that. You'll definitely be overwhelmed in a good way. Apparently he's getting even more flavors in, and I still can't wrap my head around that. The staff here is very nice and incredibly helpful. My boyfriend and I went in to buy a hookah, and the one guy we were dealing with gave us honest and super informative answers. They have a large assortment of hookah styles, as well as a plethora of different tobacco flavors (and again, super helpful when looking at different brands, in fact, mentioned that the cheapest brand was really good!). They of course have a ton of artistic and unique pipes as well as other tobacco products and e cigarettes and e cigarette accessories, but we were not in the market for any of those items. The first time that I stopped by, the store wasn't open. I waited until 9:30 and called the phone number but no response. When I came back a week later, I was truly surprised that the Yelp deal that I purchased was not valid on Tobacco! What? Expansive selection of hookah products except none of the items are price marked. Some items are unmarked while others are, which give you the illusion they are cheaper than they truly are. Classic hook and bait. When I solicited prices based on items I was given inconsistent pricing for the same products. When I arrived at the register I was informed the same exact product I inquired about earlier was $4.00 more than previously told. I ended up spending about $45 for a few items and mentioned they should mark the prices to inform customers. My request was met with a scoff and a laugh between the register operator and the other sales associate (two males). I'm not sweating $45 nor did I have the energy to argue about pricing. However, their short term strategy of exploiting women cost them thousands of dollars I would have spent in the long term. AVOID this establishment and their deceitful practices. read more

I'm SOOOO glad The Smoke House moved to my neighborhood! They have the best prices and they turned me onto the HOOKAH! I now own two but still smoke cigarettes in addition. I originally started buying my cigs there because on average ther're about a buck fifty less than everywhere else in my five mile radius. The guys that work there and the owners are also great and I consider them very good friends, I feel welcome every time I walk in. Biggest selection of flavors I have ever seen! AND, they have the big HUGE sticks of incense for only fifty cents!!! Anyway, I love the place, Peace. read more

The Smoke house owner is a complete doche bag and a liar. They have signs saying business hours open at 9 am Mon - Sat. And at 10 am on sundays. I have never seen them open earlier than 11 : 30. I was fooled a couple times by there signs. My name is Steven and i work 7 days a week. I start at 10 on weekdays and at 11 on weekends. On my way to work, The Smoke house is really convenient rather than stopping by the gas station because its not on the same road and one way. The owner of the store has signs up saying they open at 9 am and he even told me himself. So everyday before work i would come their first and see if their open so i can buy a pack of cigarettes for work. There never open on time. I wait and i wait till about 9 : 50 and i leave. That's a 50 min wait. This has happened several times.I know being mad about a store not opening on time is a bit unresonable but, a business is a business. If there not going to be honest and truthful than don't open a business. read more
