    Kale and salmon salad
    Shari C.

Busy American food restaurant. Large menu. Took a while for server to acknowledge to our table. Ordered drinks and then I think server forgot about us. My infused vodka drink was mostly ice. My friends' Bloody Mary was outstanding and very spicy . We all had the kale and salmon salad and it was a good sized portion with tasty salmon. Again our server forgot about us as we had to ask someone else for the check .

Not really impressed. Got a chicken sandwich with homemade chips. The facility was clean with a lot of history displayed. Our server was nice and offered many ideas from which to choose from for our meals.

I'm not sure on this one too be honest. The menu claims to have the "Famous Motherlode Burgers" ... they were not anything special. The homemade chips though. That was a hit! Not fond of all of the types of onions. I chose fried onions and thought they would be sauted, but they were more onion strings type. Yes, my misunderstanding and for that I didn't enjoy the onions as much. In addition, didn't appear the burgers were fresh to order and I asked for my burger to be some pink, it was cooked through. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The wait time was only because there was no one at the front when we walked in. Although, it wasn't long at all. The facility was clean with lots of information on the history. Very nice!

My husband's BYOB - beef patty, wheat bun, American, lettuce, onion, pickles, bacon, fried egg ($1.95) extra, and herb garlic mayo sauce

I came here with my husband and in-laws and was impressed, especially because I had never heard of this place before. When we walked in, thankfully, we had a reservation because it was EXTREMELY busy and we had 7 people in our party. Since the place is pretty small, everyone was crowding around the front counter and everyone waiting was getting frustrated and annoyed. Luckily for us, we told them our reservation name, walked right through everyone, and sat down. We love that for us. Upon sitting down, we had a nice waiter who was attentive to our large group during our whole experience. For appetizers, we ordered the nachos ($12.99) and buffalo wings ($13.99). The nachos were very underwhelming, as they were just chips with shredded cheese melted on them. They reminded me of when I was young and would put shredded cheese on tortilla chips and then heat it in the microwave. It looked and tasted just like this. On the other hand, the buffalo wings were great and had good texture and flavor. For dinner, we each ordered something different, so I will only be reviewing my food. I ordered the Spinach and Mushroom Quesadilla ($12.99) and this was delicious. Both the spinach and mushrooms were fresh and real which is a plus because I feel like many places use canned mushrooms for meals like this. I would order this again, but I ordered a baked potato ($4.45) for a side, and this was not good. It was hard, undercooked, and didn't even come with anything on it. I only got butter on the side. Overall, I would come back here again, but I would also like to try other menu items. I am not a big burger person, but they are known for their build-your-own-burgers. My husband ended up ordering this and he did enjoy his food, too. There are plenty of unique choices and it really does become a personalized meal option because you choose your protein, bread, cheese, toppings, and sauces. The cool thing too is that you don't pay extra for a certain amount of toppings, and unlike most places that have a build-your-own-burger option, here there are not many options you need to pay extra for.

My wife and I stopped by The Claim Company on Monday night as were in the mood for a burger. I can't speak to the salads, wraps, fajitas, or other items on the menu, but we both thought the burgers were very good. They were cooked the way we asked and really hit the spot. I went with the "NBK Spicy BBQ, Bacon, & Cheddar Burger". It was marked with a pepper to indicate it was spicy but I don't think it was at all. My wife chose the option to create her own burger and chose the Prime Beef, Brioche Bun, Bleu Cheese, Herb Garlic Mayo, and topped it with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and avocado. We also tried out a couple of drinks - The Claim Kicker (Vodka, Triple Sec & Lemonade) and the House Margarita (a Monday special). They were both pretty good. We finished the evening with a Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie dessert which was delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. All in all, just a very nice meal and we will definitely come back the next time we are in the mood for a burger or one of their other specialties.

This is a good choice when you have a group and everyone wants different things. I had a portobello mushroom "burger" without the bun and some excellent sweet potato fries (they were so good)! Others in our party had French onion soup, bison burger, and Italian beef. The burgers are great and you can customize to your taste (type of bun, type of burger, cheese, add-ons, etc) as well as what side you want (salad, fruit, fries, vegs). Service is great, food comes out hot, reasonable prices. I've had their salads before too and they are excellent. Nothing fancy here, just tasty food.

I've totally been sleeping on The Claim Company! It's been around since the days of the salad bar which no longer exists. I had it for the first time in years and was impressed. We were seated quickly and service was great. I opted for a build your own motherlode burger on a pretzel bun with tons of toppings and sauces. I was particularly happy to see that avocado, bacon, and crispy fried onions were NOT an additional charge. I chose herb garlic mayo and spicy Dijon aioli as my dipping sauces. I'm not a burger gal, but let me say everything was DELICIOUS! The burger was juicy, the toppings were loaded up, and the sauces were flavorful. If I was ever in a burger mood, I would definitely come back.

My French onion soup came out . it was put under the broiler. The cheese was black and the soup was tepid. The Caesar salad was OK are used to eat here back in the 80s and they had a really good Caesar salad with a lot of garlic today. It was so so it's been many many years since I've been here and I think my taste buds have evolved and food that I used to think was amazing was just subpar.

I came here for a late lunch/early dinner while shopping in the area. They have a patio but we opted to dine indoors with the AC. We were immediately greeted and got our drinks. I didn't want anything too heavy so I opted for the chicken wings. I was told that the Buffalo sauce was on my spicier side so I was a bit hesitant but my server offered to have the different sauces on the side so I can try them all and I didn't have to decide on one to coat all the wings. I also got the sweet potato fries with a side of honey mustard. If you haven't had sweet potatoes and honey mustard, you must! It's an amazing combo! It was a good call to have the wing sauce on the side because I was able to try them all and all of them were so different, it was pleasing to have different flavors and not be stuck with the same one. My brother enjoyed his burger and would definitely come back here again!
