The food was actually really good! You don't hear that much about amusement parks! If the family says they would eat it served anywhere else, then it's good! I recommend the family pack with food! Ok so value wise, you can look at it in two ways. The perks could outweigh the seeming thought of overpaying. It's waaaaaay cheaper than seaworld, or six flags. I can see it being worth more value if the water park section was opened. For right now, the fact the kiddos and even the misses could ride all day, and no long lines, make this a win for us. There are no token to buy, just all day wristbands. Yes the video games for the most part are dated. It's also not a huge park. There are four major rides outside. My family said the rollercoaster was a lot more violent and faster than they thought it would be. They were split whether they liked it or not. They also all loved the go kart attraction. We almost missed a small section in the inside towards the back. They had a bungee trampoline, a small rock wall, and a flight simulator! The family all enjoyed the flight simulator! It made for lots of laughs. They did have a playground and ball area for the smaller kids which we did not explore. Again, this is not a major theme park, but more like a light version with less crowds! We are coming back! The only negatives for us, the distance from where we live, the dated video game rides, and the water park being closed. It's not crazy cheap, but not crazy expensive. Hope that makes sense. We paid extra for the VIP / fast lane. Did not know we had to pay an extra $14 a person to attend the water park. All that money to not realize it was not included.. the fats pass lanes were pretty quick. Staff were friendly! Food is mediocre. Very pricey but it's expected with a theme park. The food areas in the waterpark areas were severely under staffed at one point only had two cashiers. For a day like 4th of July where both parks were at capacity by 3pm they should've planned more accordingly. We really enjoyed exploring and the size of the park. It seemed to be a lot more spread out than the one in California. Also seemed to have room to grow. We wish all ride lines had shade and were interactive like the Joker ride. Stayed to watch all 3 of the Star Spangled Nights, loved the shows especially the Grand Finale We will be back! We purchased our tickets online to attend the July 4th celebration, but nowhere on the website did it mention that viewing the fireworks required an additional $17 admission. It also failed to mention that the fireworks wouldn't begin until 11:00 p.m. When we tried to get answers, no one seemed to have accurate information. Employees directed us to Customer Service, while Customer Service referred us back to employees. Unfortunately, no one was able to provide clear details, leaving many guests confused and frustrated. The experience was made even more frustrating because supervisors blamed the marketing department instead of taking ownership or providing solutions. It was clear they had very little knowledge of the actual park experience, event details, or what guests had been promised. Rather than helping resolve concerns, they shifted responsibility, leaving customers feeling ignored and unsupported. Guests shouldn't have to navigate conflicting information or excuses when they simply want accurate answers and good customer service. What made the situation even more disappointing was seeing so many people turned away. In previous years, guests were able to walk in and enjoy the fireworks, but this year's additional charge caught many by surprise and resulted in a lot of unhappy customers. The one bright spot was the fireworks themselves. The 360-degree view from inside the park was absolutely spectacular and made for an incredible show. They run through the summer season for a few months daily, then switch to weekends only in the late summer. I would advise getting there as they open to get the best parking - we arrived around noon a couple weeks ago and had to park at a lot that was a little less than a mile away. Not so bad for just the two of us, but a lot harder for those with coolers and bigger groups. The parks are amazing - so many fun tube rides, body slides, and some faster tube blasters that are so much fun! I especially like the double rider tubes in Schlitterbahn east, like the Black Knight. I highly recommend the Fast Pass - it is a steep price but well worth it for accessing more of the rides. We felt like the regular fast pass was more than enough as we didn't have time to access all the rides once throughout our day. We also only visit once per season, though. It's been pretty crowded on both of our recent visits - Saturdays in July and August. I would guess it's less busy during the weekdays. We got to ride the Falls (worlds longest tube ride) on our visit in mid-August but they shut it down for the rest of the season the day after we went. All in all definitely worth visiting at any age and very family-friendly. You can rent a locker for your belongings and some folks keep their coolers on the tables by the larger pool areas. You can bring in food/drink or purchase in the park and they have Dippin Dots!

One stared at me blankly and pointed to a QR code. When I told her my phone was locked in the car, and asked what to do because I obviously can't scan without a phone, and there's no reentry. ( My neice autistic neice was in full meltdown because it was her birthday, and she lost her glasses on one of the rides). When we first got there, we went to customer service, to get the autism passes. I'm neurodivergent, and my neice is 16 and autistic. Her mon,brother's friend came as well. The woman at customer service looked like a deer caught in inheadlights,when asked about the passes. Then refused to give them to us. Then changed her mind and gave us each 1. It was only good for 1 ride. We were supposed to go back to the customer service booth after each ride. The first ride, had no idea what to do with the passes. When we went back for the next ride, the refused us a second time, and only gave us 2. We told them to keep them. I've been to many amusement and watermarks, with my neices ( I have 2 both ironically are fully autistic. ) I live in Illinois and visiting. I would not recommend this for anyone with autistic children or family members. It's the least accommodating place I've ever been.

Fun fun day with the boys at K-1 Austin!!…read more We arrived when they opened and got registered on the computers. There is a one time fee of 8.50 and then we did the 2 race package. It was 69$ I think. They had a deal for 79 for 2 races with 20$ game play and an order of strips or burger but we had already eaten. The gentleman then did a little safety orientation and we got helmets and were off to our carts. The race was 12 laps and we had a blast. It's more tiring than you think and we were all sweating a little but man was it fun. The carts set for adults go about 40-45mph on the straight away which feels super fast. The second race was even more fun with other riders. You are NOT allowed to bump others or your kicked out. The safety rules are easy to follow and made sense. We will come back with more friends!!

Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and passionate--great combo! Cost was about $15 a person. -Saw a lot of wildlife, including deer, many birds, including a hawk, turtles, and many fish. Don't forget to check out the aquarium! -About a dozen people on our tour boat, from toddlers to 60's. Everyone enjoyed the experience. -Boat was covered, so it felt cool enough on the water even on a warm spring day. Highly recommended!

It's easy to see why this is one of the most visited cave sites for tourism worldwide and the…read moremost-visited in Texas. It's a very well-developed cave to visit. By "developed", I mean that lighting and a path has been installed to make traversing it A LOT easier than when it was discovered. By "path", I mean smooth, textured, non-slip, paved sidewalks from one end of the tour to the other--complete with stainless steel handrails along almost every step of it. The effort it took to make a cave system this accessible is beyond commendable. At one end of one of the tours there is a long uphill slope to get out of the cavern, but you don't have to walk--they have a roller/conveyor belt that you stand on and ride to the top. The erosion-carved rocky "rooms" of the cave system defy description. They are up to 100 feet tall, 100 feet wide, and over 200 feet long, and are filled with otherworldly mineral formations that have been actively "growing" for millions of years. Photos don't do this justice. When you see it in person, it's just breathtaking. Adult-only tours would be an occasional welcome option, as a less-than-silent baby/toddler ruins the silence that the below-ground space allows. Parking is abundant, but it is not free. Even out in the spacious Texas Hill Country they decided that $10 per car was appropriate. I hate paying to park (anywhere), and in a rural setting like this, it just feels like such a shameless money-grab! I wish they'd just charge more for the tours and let us feel like parking is "free". More intensive, deeper tours for small groups that require higher effort into undeveloped parts of the caverns are offered on a limited basis. This sounds like something worth returning for.

It is the first cavern discovered I decided this time to check the hidden wonders tour for the newest cavern. This tour is definitely not accessible. Lots of stairs down and lots of wet spots. But it is highly recommended! The tour guide was friendly saying jokes and very informative. Someone in the group asked him to rephrase for a kid brain to absorb the information. It was hilarious and the kiddo in the group was engaged and so enthusiastic about the whole deal! The cave itself is so beautiful! We spent a good hour and a half inside At the end you get the light and sound show and the fun ride out on the B.A.T the only belt assisted transport conveyor in the world to get out of the cave. Hold on tight! Then you go flying through the "bowl of spaghetti" until you're scared out of your wits. This thing flings you around spins you right round, baby, right round. It's a fun one! My favorite part, other than the terrifying dips and spins, is the line to get in, where you go through a haunted house laboratory and there's a whole little act that comes with it. It's super fun!
