I asked whether there were any other holes like it on the hat, and she acknowledged there were not. Because the item was a final sale, I asked whether they would consider a discount due to the defect. The assistant manager declined. I then asked to speak with the store manager and was told the manager was not there. When I asked who could make that decision, the assistant manager said she would need to contact the executive manager but did not offer to do so until I specifically asked her to make the call. Instead, she took the hat from me and said she would return it to the vendor. I explained that I wanted to buy the hat and was simply requesting a reasonable discount because it had a visible defect. At that point, she said, "It can't hurt to ask the manager," took my phone number, and said someone would get back to me. I'm waiting to see whether management follows up and will update this review accordingly.

They have hats of all kinds from high end baseball caps to fedoras and cowboy hats. I have a small head so buying hats online doesn't usually end up working out. It's great to have a local option! I think the prices are a little high, but so are PB rent prices for businesses so whatever. I'm glad I can try things on before making my purchase.
