We went back and forth quite a few times, but she was very responsive and patient with us! In the end, we agreed on a design and the pricing was reasonable. Once we had the install done, we decided to make one more change and the installers were flexible with us and accommodated the change within a few weeks! The Closet Company is a second generation family business and they take great care of their clients. They are a business of integrity and do beautiful work. They made some modifications to our closet by adding drawers and shelves. They also converted our drop zone" into cabinets for lots of storage. Adding a big cabinet over the toilet in the water closet also created a lot more storage. Everyone we met from this business was nice, courteous and professional. Once again, my fellow Yelpers did not disappoint. We needed bookcases for our home but did not want to spend a fortune. I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to drop by The Closet Company. Adam Floyd is the owner and gave me a warm welcome, even though I did not have an appointment. He spent time showing me different options for bookcases and made a sketch on the spot to show us his idea for our very large blank wall. We scheduled a time for Adam to come over to the house to take a look at the space. He was able to design a bookcase that went along with the existing cabinets in the house. He suggested adding a desk with drawers and that was an excellent suggestion because we had not thought about the need for a desk. Adam was aware that we did not want to spend a fortune and was able to come up with a very affordable design. The timeline for all of this was very quick. Even with the Christmas/New Year's holidays, I think everything was designed, ordered and installed in about two or three weeks. Once the materials were in, the bookcase was built in one day. My husband was skeptical about the need for custom bookcases. I told him he would love it in the end and he does! The living room was transformed because of this gorgeous feature and we could not be happier. I HIGHLY recommend The Closet Company for your custom storage needs. I was extremely excited about working with this company, even after Adam postponed our initial meeting at the last minute. Once he came over for the evaluation, he let me know they were going on vacation and would be out of town for two weeks, he said "we'll get you an estimate April 17th." I waited, delighted at the prospect of hiring them, and he said nothing until I reached out on April 19th. He then became quite defensive. I said "it's difficult to stay excited about paying someone $10,000 when they are not doing what they say and communicating clearly, but if this is an isolated incident, I'd like to move forward." Then he just didn't respond at all! Would absolutely not hire these people. He and his lovely wife came out and within a couple of days had plans drawn up and an estimate. When we decided to to our master closet and laundry room, his guys came out and took out the poorly built and designed existing fixtures and completed the entire job in 1.5 days and it was a huge job.
