We called Michael and he was able to schedule an inspection for the condo that we wanted buy and sign sales contract as a buyer. Michael and his son Mario showed up to do the inspection, for what ever reason three agents were there telling me that he inspected the same condo several months earlier and I was wasting my money. They were rude to Michael saying that they fixed the items he found last time. As it turns out they lost a buyer because of the issues that Michael had found. Micheal explained that he worked for the buyer and to please let him do his job. I told him we still wanted him to inspect and to verify what we were being told. Micheal was able to pull the last inspection to verify that the items that failed the previous inspection. He reassured me that he and Mario would reinspect everything and let me know where each item stood. Mario went into every craw space, cabinet and closet to ensure I would have no issues. Thankfully, in walking around the house with Michael, he was able to educate me on the issues he found and verify the new items had been fixed. He checked the new AC, appliances and the electrical to ensure that they were installed correctly. From Michaels advice I was able to sit down with the homeowner, we were able to get them to correct the items Micheal had found saving us money before we signed a contract. I'm so glad I was able to have Michael and Mario from Affordable Inspections help me make a smarter decision and save us some money!

I moved into a new home in…read moreDelray Beach two years ago and spent a few months in and out of Designers Mark furnishing our home. Dimitri and his entire staff were amazing. We purchased a bunch of furniture, bar stools, and had Designers Mark install blinds in every room of our brand new home. Fast forward to one month ago-almost two years later- when we woke up in the middle of the night to a large crash and realized that one of the motorized blinds covering three large windows had ripped off its install and crashed to the floor. The next day I sent pictures and videos to Dimitri assuming nothing would happen as it was two years after install. Dimitri took over and immediately sent his install team out who determined that the install was faulty. Shortly thereafter he had a drywall team out fixing all the damage to our walls. Then he sent a painting team out to paint and match the existing dining room color. All of this was done via numerous phone calls/texts and emails by himself. A week later he had the install team back to install a brand-new electric blind covering the three windows. What I thought would be a terrible experience costing me thousands of dollars, turned into one of the best customer service experiences that I've ever had and at zero cost to me! Everyone makes mistakes but it's what happens after a mistake that everyone remembers. And Dimitri was fantastic! Also, there were mistakes with the invoice and billing on more than one occasion My kitchen refacing job took way too long, three months to be completed even though some changes were made. At times I felt Liz dropped the ball on the project and it took a frustratingly long time to follow through with her as well as getting a contractor out to complete the job. She should never have accepted this job If it was out of her wheelhouse, yet initially, she came off as very confident and qualified. The last month of my project has mostly been a waiting game with finding a contractor to finish up the job. The finished job did come out nicely, yet at the cost of much aggravation, frustration, and overall an unpleasant experience.
