Recently they handled an order mess up of mine very professionally and I wanted to give them a five star review for it. I had had some difficulty ordering, but had confirmed at order of two breakfast burritos, two donuts and a coffee. I was only given the breakfast burritos. Must have been tired cause I thought I had coffee as well. When I got home no coffee and donuts. My wife was mad. I went back the next day and they gave me the rest of the order without really any hassle. Come to find when I looked at my card statement they had only ever charged me for the burritos. The mocha ice blended is way too sweet, and just tastes like sugar. Their drinks are not very coffee forward. It's just okay to me!

First I would like to say Cashier was friendly and helpful, but he told me that I could not make my drink per Company rule. My drink request: Regular coffee (plain coffee) with ice, blended. Told that cannot be done because blended drinks need flavoring to bind it (texture or something). I hope I don't sound like an unreasonable Karen. I wouldn't say I like leaving a yelp review, but this place deserved one. I am unsure if the girl with the orange hair was having a bad day or if it was just another busy day. Anyway, I ordered two Matcha Latte, and their system was down. They were only accepting cash. I was OK with that, but when I got my order, I asked for a cup of ice on the side, and the girl charged me $.25. This is my first time getting charged for a cup of ice at Coffee Bean. I don't mind paying for it but what irritated me was that they didn't charge the customer next to me for a large cup of iced water. I am unsure why I was charged for ice when they gave out a free cup of iced water. Anyway, it was just bad customer service by the girl. We ordered two drinks and a bagel to be delivered through Postmates. Delivery was great. The bagel was fine but the two drinks were identical, which were dirty chai with oat milk. We get dirty chai with oat milk lots of places but disappointed from this location today because it was almost if it tasted thin if that makes any sense. I would say it almost tasted watered down. I don't know what causes this, but it was not a good dirty chai in our opinions. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. I asked for extra whip in my matcha ice blend. As soon as I saw the whipped cream beast I lost all bodily function and could not stop laughing. Hopped around three niche cafes before getting overstimulated from the crowded and noisey environment. Why do coffee shops in SGV close so early on a Friday!!?? It is CRUCIAL for a cafe to have POWER OUTLETS, plenty of seating, and GOOD WIFI! This Coffee Bean + Tea Leaf has got to be the most reliable around. Closes late and is almost always empty around dinner time. Showed up annoyed and tired hoping to get some studying done and found comfort in knowing my seat is always open here. if you're a student in the area that likes working in cafes, this is your best bet. Music choice has definitely gotten an upgrade since my last review haha. All in all, this is my Old Faithful. There's a reason why this location has three stars. This is the second time I've encountered poor service and attitude for just picking up coffee. I go to the mobile pick up order and asked one of the lady's for my drink, she kindly said it's not ready. I seat myself and my name has yet to be called. The girl with the black beanie asks if I have a mobile order and I said yes. She very rudely points to the sign where it says ask a worker for your order and says, " you need to ask for it." In a very aggressive tone, I respond "I did." She looks for my drink and slams it on the counter. I feel very sorry for this location because not all workers are this rude but this was so uncalled for behavior towards someone just picking up a coffee. Oh! I get the same drink almost daily and it just wasn't correct and she was so rude and wouldn't fix it. You lost a client and I was willing to pay the $.90 for oat milk when Starbucks doesn't charge for that. I've always loved CBTL, but my trip today was a downer. I redeemed my Mother's Day BOGO offer for two ice blended drinks on my app. It said my drink would be ready for pick up at 2:32 pm. I arrived at 2:30 and waited inside patiently while I watched 3 employees methodically and chaotically run up and down the aisle making drinks and rinsing blender containers. I feel so bad for them, they look really understaffed and I know there is a huge line in the drive thru. I don't know why they don't have more people on the schedule to work. 2:45 rolls around and I still don't have my drinks, while I watch people who order at the counter get their drinks before I do. I go and ask when my mobile order will be ready and they finally have it ready in about 2 minutes. My drink was good, although a lot sweeter than I remember - really heavy on the vanilla powder today. I wish management would take note that if there's a promo happening this weekend, they should probably schedule more people to work that day. Definitely not the best coffee I've had in my life, but this is the best coffee bean and tea leaf location I've been to. I ordered a normal coffee with cream and sugar. However, their coffee had that gross stale taste. If you're looking for a decent study spot, this location has plenty of comfortable seating and extremely fast wifi. The entire seating area is very clean. The only reason I'm giving them so many stars is because this is one of the few coffee shops in the area with decent wifi. read more

Chalk up this report to a bad night. My wife and I experienced the two worst vanilla lattes we've ever had. We drove about 1/2 mile before we tasted our drinks. First - the coffee was way stronger than normal, almost Smokey tasting Second- both drinks were lukewarm at best. The cups weren't even warm the touch. With all the coffee choices there are in Glendora, missing the mark on two easy drinks, could damage business. read more

We've been coming here for 4-5 years and the drinks have been consistently great. Lately service has been discourteous at times, but otherwise they're very friendly. However, the drive thru can be a mess. When the line gets particularly long, it can branch in two directions through the adjacent parking lot. Usually people are pretty nice about it, but today we ran into the most aggro driver insisting her branch was the correct one to justify her nearly ramming us. There's no correct branch unless they start using more signage or something! Just keep track of your place in the messed up line and wait 3 more minutes for your coffee! read more

When I came in, there was a couple ordering, and I was next. When the cashier finished with the couple, she walked away to work on drinks without even acknowledging me. I stood there several minutes, waiting for someone to take my order. I counted at least 10 employees, some of whom were doing nothing. Finally, one of them told another one to take my order. Incredibly rude general manager and staff. My friend and I were surprised they were open on Christmas so we decided to stop by. Ordered our drinks, which they made wrong, but my friend and I didn't taste them until after we left. While still at the ordering screen, we informed the guy we wanted separate orders & that we had a reward on each of our accounts for a free pastry. The guy was really confused when we got to the window so we kindly explained to him. He was the only nice one. The general manager pops in to say she won't let us redeem the reward even though the guy already scanned and took my friend's reward from her phone, flipped us off and then shut the window. After some time, another employee (F) with green hair streaks opened the window and was acting very snobby. Of course we were explaining what happened, and my friend mentioned that she even recorded the conversation with the general manager for proof of how she was talking to us (I will attach video later), to which the employee says "I was about to give you my employee discount for your danishes but now that you said that" and made an ugly face. Then she proceeds to tell us that she hated working there, and that the same general manager we just dealt with has been screaming at them every day that month. terrible ambiance. All of a sudden, we look to our right and see that the cops were called while we were trying to sort things out. We parked and talked to them, showed them our phones and the recording, and ended up laughing with the cops over their immature incompetence and terrible customer service. read more

Worst drive thru experience I ever had. Pulled through and was deciding what to order. My husband ordered. The woman on the intercom asked if the order was complete while my sister and I started to say what our order. Instead of just taking the order, the woman asked if we wanted to add this to the order we said was complete. I corrected the woman and said, no you said our order was complete not us. The woman replied, no you said your order was complete. I then said to cancel our order that obviously you did not need our business because you contradicted us. We left the drive thru and went down the street to the Starbucks where we received stellar customer service. Called the store and asked to speak to the manager and was informed the manager is not in until tomorrow. However, the supervisor is there and then I asked if I may speak to the supervisor. I was asked if I just pulled out of the drive thru and I said yes. I was informed it was the supervisor that was on the intercom! What kind of coffee place has this type of person working with customers. The Coffee Bean can do better. read more
