As a long time supporter of Coffee Bean, I was very excited when this location opened up. It is better than, in my opinion, Starbucks. The staff is extra friendly, always complimenting my jewelry or clothing (thank you!). Every drink I order comes out great and no complaints. This review has nothing to do with the beverages nor the staff. However, the line is extremely slow! I even try to save time by ordering through the app (pretty convenient), but every time I go I spend close to 10 minutes waiting and there will only be 2 cars ahead of me. I could understand if there was a long line, but it shouldn't take that long for a couple of people. It leaves me pretty short on time for work. Now, one may argue that maybe I should leave earlier for work. That would probably be the most logical conclusion...but even when I have no where to go it is still an extremely long line! Please Coffee Bean if this can be fixed so I can enjoy my beverage and not worry about the time! read more

I haven't had Coffee Bean since I worked at CBTL, and honestly the peppermint mocha latte I got today was perfect!!! I forgot to tell my boyfriend to order it with soy milk and the girl at the window, I think her name was America, was so helpful and said it was fine to remake it for me. Love this location! It still has its brand new feeling! The interior is lit so well and very conducive to studying. Free WiFi and clean bathrooms. Ordered the drinks and my iced latte didn't come with enough ice, so I asked for some extra. I learned that you could ask for quarter or half powder when you order a flavored drink. Customer service is no good. There were 5 women working and not one greeted when I walked in or acknowledged that I was waiting at the register to order for a while. 3 other people walked in during my time there and they weren't greeted either. 2 of them walked up to the order pick up and not one employee acknowledged or helped them retrieve their order. The other customer waited at the register like I did while employees walked right past her to go to the back. Just acknowledging your customers when they walk in and letting them know someone will be with them is important. It was awkward in there and no communication between the team as far as who is going to greet and help customers that come up to the counter. 5 people working, besides the drive thru I was the only person inside when I ordered and my plain black coffee took over 5 minutes. There are 2 areas that have sofas in case you're looking for cozy seating. The tables are always sanitized and have signs indicating which ones are clean and ready to use. There is also a drive thru in case you want your coffee on the go. As a student, I like studying here as the inside is rarely busy, not too loud, plenty of free parking, clean bathrooms, and they have great air conditioning. The person working the register who took my order could've just poured it herself, but she decided to delegate that duty to someone else who apparently never got the message or just plain forgot. If me sitting around waiting in a nearly empty shop (there were two others just hanging out) for 15 minutes doesn't give you a clue about my outstanding order, well then maybe management should hire a person whose only job is to be observant. So i kindly told this girl to please take out the whip. She very rudely (lucky her I didn't get her name) told me next time to not put "no whip" because they don't put it unless i say so. My go-to coffee bean & especially on the go. During this quarantine season, you must wear a mask even if you're on the drive-thru. I have the coffee bean & tea leaf app and occasionally there are awesome deals - BOGO free, 50% off a drink, etc. There was an incident where my BOGO deal was not applying for a Mother's Day deal. I drove to the drive thru, ordered & informed them that I had the app and email indicating the deal but it was not applying on the app. They said it was fine & gave me the BOGO deal. Great customer service. The staff is also pretty friendly & the lines go by pretty quick too. I can always rely on this place for a pick me up or something to cool off in the summer heat. I've come here many times & have had good experiences here. Here are my 2 go-to drinks (not a big coffee fan): -Mango Cold Brew Tea: great pick me up; mix/stir it right away when you get it or it will be extremely strong your first 2 sips and then bland the entire way -Malibu Dream: basically a strawberry banana smoothie & no caffeine Great establishment all around! read more

First time at this coffee bean and will not be coming back. Originally was going to go to starbucks across the street but for some reason i thought id try this. Big mistake. I waited in the drive thru line for literally 30 minutes for two iced teas and a bagel. The girl taking the order was so talkative (i guess it has its good side of explanations but also bad since it holds up the line) and when i got the the window and paid the guy barely started to cut my bagel to toast it. He was cutting it super super slow. Everyone was just moving slow from what i was able to tell. Total waste of time. I should have just stuck to starbucks. I love this Coffee Bean. Staff is usually friendly. Bathroom decently clean. Coffee as expected every time. Drive thru is fast. Inside there is plenty of seating and outlets so it is a nice place to get some work done. My only complaint is that the place is FREEZING. If I stay for more than an hour, I pretty much get hypothermia. I guess they crank the AC to keep people from lingering too long? Seems unnecessary. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars. read more

I was so excited about this opening right down the street from my house, since they closed the one near me a couple of years ago and I hate Starbucks coffee. The first time I (tried to) go they weren't open yet, despite the app saying they were. The sign said drive thru coming soon, but the lights were on and I figured they were open inside. The second time I went I decided to drive through. I asked for my iced coffee with extra half and half, but they handed it to me black and when I mentioned it, the guy just shrugged it off. Luckily I had half and half at home, and that's where I was heading. The third strike was today. I went in and ordered my coffee (which was fine and I was inside where I could put the half and half in), but they were out of most of the pastries they had on display. Other Coffee Beans take them out of the display when they're sold out. It was a guessing game as to what they actually had, and incredibly frustrating. I was told they had bagels, and I said fine and asked for extra cream cheese. Want to guess what else they were out of? ‍ I came home and cooked my own breakfast, which isn't something I wanted to do, and luckily I had something to make at home so I didn't have to make another stop. First day, they got my order incorrect (no big deal). Second day, I ordered my usual latte - great! I then proceeded to the counter where I waited for 2 minutes. They knew I was there but they just giggled and continued on their business. No greeting no customer service skills.
