Not that I'm saying the rest of Dunkin' is bad but the employees here are always really sweet, understanding, and hustling. If you redeem points, don't expect your food to be up to standard. We used to come here every weekend and it was satisfactory. But lately, the food/beverages quality has dropped off along with the staff's demeanor. I redeemed points on a latte today but also ordered munchkins & a bagel with cream cheese. I love the mobile ordering functionality and how quickly my order is typically ready, just 3-5 minutes after I place it from my phone. I don't know about their security for the mobile orders but I've never had one disappear on me at this location yet. Nice heated outdoor patio seating if you want to eat/sip on location. I have fond memories of trips to NYC with my grandpa when I was a kid. He would always take me to Dunkin' for a Boston Kreme Donut. At the time where weren't any Dunkin' Donut shops in Los Angeles, which made it even more special. When this place opened about 6 years ago, I was excited and went for a Boston Kreme. Sadly, it didn't taste as good as I remembered, and I never went back. I stopped in the other day for a coffee before the gym because my first choice was closed. This time I decided to try something different and got a coffee cake muffin. The cinnamon crumb topping was good, but the muffin was dry (even though it was 7 a.m.). One star off because coffee tasted a bit watered down and hash browns were just okay. Very dry and hard to bite...... parking sucks unless you go early morning then it is empty right in front of the store (street parking). I got the $6 meal deal and it was worth it! The only thing I loved out of this meal deal was only the croissant with sausage egg and cheese. It was so delicious and the croissant did not harden over time. The donuts here are good for the most part. The donuts are fresh and sometimes a little too chewy. I always love to order at least Half Dozen Donuts of a (3) Sprinkles Donuts and (3) Glazed Donuts. The service here is fast and efficient even if they have lots of orders right in person or through the Mobile Order. The staff are always welcoming and nice to their customers and that they really love to serve the community and help them with whatever they may need. The ambiance here is nice and welcoming. I came to the Pasadena location on lake a couple of years ago snd still keep coming. My first visit I was fortunate enough to meet Josh. The reception I received was pretty powerful. His decency blew me away . His kindness keeps me coming back and back. The whole crew, plus the manager Alex, Is a wonderful group of people. This is probably by far my most favorite Dunkin Donuts location. The barista always remembers to include my dairy substitute for my Matcha Latte. The mobile order app is convenient. I love their breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. You can even customize your sandwiches and drinks. You can park your car on the street in front of the location which makes it quick and convenient. Eh, so-so here. Don't come in on an afternoon. One person working for the entire store - super uber duper slow slow slow. Weird electronic kiosks to order which makes things back up as well. I ordered a treat for pick up through the app - a matcha latte - and it was...like, half coffee? Super disgusting coffee flavor rather than matcha. I spent almost ten minutes in store waiting for them to re-make it; when she finally started to do so she spent about 20 seconds on it and I had to finish stirring vigorously to get all the big matcha clumps dissolved - see pic. Every time I order it here it is extremely variable. Sometimes just what I'm hoping for, other times just a cup of expensive oat milk (which is $1 more) with ice. For nearly 6 bucks it'd be nice to have some consistency. The last time there for me; would rather support a local mom-and-pop especially if I'm paying that much. Terrible service! We walk in for some coffee and donuts and the 2 guys "working" ignore us. One guy we thought was helping a customer is actually chatting with an acquaintance. So we figure we should use machine to place order. Meanwhile another customer comes in and quickly uses machine and gets her order as we are struggling to place ours. Then another customer comes in and starts to use another machine but then starts asking a million questions on how to do it. Meanwhile the other employee decides to help us... What a difference a few years make. I had stopped going to Dunkin due to the ongoing issues but decided to revisit them after American Express decided to add the $7 credit per month for the gold card. Placed my order on the app and was ready it a pretty decent time frame. The biggest reason I changed my review is because of the employees. The kiosk to validate the tickets to the parking was having an issue and one of the employees too the time to get it all fixed up and get my ticket validated. Dunkin is delicious! I loooove the Tmobile rewards cause it allows for me to try Dunkin's food and drinks for free. This location is convenient but I always see flies inside the donut window. So it doesn't seem sanitary. Usually my experience with the cashiers have been ok but today the lady did not seem like she wanted to do her job. She did not know the name of the donut we were pointing to and when we pointed to the donut in an obvious way, she was not even trying to really see where we were pointing! It was pretty frustrating. I know we get what we paid for but she did not know how we were going to pay yet! We tried the hash browns for the first time and it was a tad over fried but tasted delicious!! I also like their mango peach refresher. It tastes sweet and cooling! Their breakfast wrap and sandwiches are always good and comparable to starbucks. I am not sure if Dunkin' Donuts needs a review because I imagine everyone has been there, but I had a few comments. First, they had reduced the variety of donuts over time and I missed the wider selection. Also, when ordering through the app the options are more limited and did not even reflect the donuts they had (although I was able to swap one out). Fortunately, the donuts are as delicious as ever. They have high volume so they were also very fresh. One big change over time has been adding more drinks. I had an iced matcha latte. This is my first time at this Dunkin' location and will probably be my last time. I ordered on the app for a walk in pickup order. As I'm walking up to the door I see the curbside drop-off guy coming towards me with his hands full. I hold the door open for him and instead of saying thank you he just runs in to me and keeps on going. Rude! I go inside to grab my my order and my donut is laying in the bag upside down so all the toppings are just stuck to the bag instead... when I get to my desk and bite my donut its rock hard. This Dunkin has a great location but the coffee is terrible. I ordered the frozen coffee as a birthday reward from the app and the bottom was complete syrup. I thought it was coffee so when I tried to drink some, I got a mouthful of sugar. The coffee itself tasted like artificial sweetener and honey with no coffee taste whatsoever. The outside of the store, however, is very nice and they have clean seats and tables which is why they got 3 stars. Terribly inefficient!! They usually have at least 5 people working the cashier and preparing the orders which seems like it would be enough people to keep the line moving. It usually takes 20 minutes to get two coffees and two donuts. This would NEVER happen in NYC!!! They also don't give coffee holders so it's very hot to hold your coffee!!! The reason I still gave 3 stars: -Parking in the structured garage or on the street right in front. They validate which you will need since it's so slow. -Even though this place is tiny, they have a bathroom for customers -Lots of outdoor seating. But on Saturday mornings there are lots of large groups/families so you might not have a seat right away. This appears to be a very family friendly location. -mobile orders and curbside delivery. Outdoor patio seating is available with lots of tables, chairs and benches. Though, most patrons get their food and drinks to go. Parking: Paid street parking in front. Mobile App Order: Loooove it!!! I placed my food and drink order and was able to pick it up quickly. Just look for your name labeled on your food and drink. You can also walk inside and order your items too. The only downside to this app, you can't customize your drinks too much (such as if you want to reduce the pump flavors in a larger size). Free Classic Donut of Your Choice: I selected the Boston Kreme, soo good! Fluffy donut shell with sweet custard kreme in the middle. The chocolate frosting on top was generous and a bit gooey, yum! My second favorite type of donut behind the Maple Bacon (bar and/or donut). $3.94 Almond Mocha Coconutmilk Iced Coffee - Tasty and started off my morning right! Consisting of the Original Blend (Coffee), Coconutmilk ($0.79 extra), three pumps of Toasted Almond and three pumps of Mocha Swirl.
