I absolutely love Boba Time and have gone multiple times at a different location. However, I've visited this location three times now and every single time they make my drink with no flavor. I've brought this up to the employees before ordering before, but they just say that they'll add more sweetness. Despite this, every single time I get the drink, it still tased like water. I usually get the strawberry yogurt smoothie and normally absolutely love this drink. For some reason this place will not make this specific drink well. I can't speak to other orders. Just wanted to let you know that this specific drink I have been constantly having issues with. read more

I usually do not like chains when it comes to my boba teas, but Boba time has remained consistent with the quality and taste enough that I will compromise. Great Thai tea, firm but chewy bobas and great with the sweetness selection. Service is solid and consistently polite. Cutest little pop ambiance, with seating and tables spread throughout. It's Boba Time is located on a busy and popular corner in East Pasadena at Colorado and Allen. This is a chain. They offer lots of menu options. It is designed mostly for take out orders, and includes a kiosk for ordering. There is limited seating. Lots of PCC students and employees from nearby businesses frequent this location. I prefer their smoothies, especially with boba added. Slushies are available as well. I recently had the taro smoothie and it was very good. It's very efficient and clean but not particularly personal, as to be expected with a chain establishment. read more

Love this place! I'm here weekly, they make amazing açaí bowl. They really fill them up with a massive amount of fruit and decorate them beautifully. I wanted to share my experience from today. My Apple Pay wasn't working at the self-checkout, and I was clearly struggling with the machine. Several employees were standing nearby, but none of them offered to help. It was another customer--a fellow mom--who stepped in and helped me. The lack of assistance from the staff was really disappointing, and it honestly made me want to walk out. I hope this can be addressed so other customers don't have the same experience. read more

You know you're getting when you walk in, prices are generally reasonable, and it drinks are... are generally solid if not particular memorable. Service at this location is pretty quick as well, and that alone sometimes means the convenience is worth it. read more

I was walking towards Odyssey Games and happened to look to my right. I saw It's Boba Time. I said cool... I'll have to check them out later. I came back in late evening. My first time here at this location in Pasadena. It's a corner shop. It has a very bright and inviting atmosphere. They have one kiosk for self-ordering and a couple registers at the counter. I chose to use the kiosk and it was easy to order. I got the Avocado Smoothie with 100% boba... they have an option for 50% boba as well. There weren't very many customers when I was in here. It was near closing time actually. Luckily, the wait for my drink wasn't too long. I didn't have much interaction with the staff as they just called my number, placed my drink on the counter, and walked away. I walked up to the counter, grabbed my drink, and was on my way. Avocado Smoothie had a very smooth consistency. I could taste the yummy avocado, but wished there were more of it. Boba was moist and chewy. Next time I might just omit the boba so I can have more avocado smoothie LOL. Good to know they are here so the next time I visit Odyssey Games, I will be back for more avocado smoothie. =) read more

Had some time during lunch to get my car serviced nearby and didn't want to just wait around so I walked around the area and saw this boba place. I've been to other It's Boba Time, this one is not as small and very spacious with table seating. They have a tablet kiosk to order and it was very easy. I ordered a regular tiger sugar black tea latte to wake up my day. Half sugar, easy ice with boba (comes with drink and isn't extra). The ordering on the tablet is very easy and helps you through the many options! Their AC was blasted because it was very cold inside! They have one unisex restroom that is coded, just ask a staff for the code. read more

My favorite boba place was closed so I stopped by Boba Time. I am familiar with the chain, but I had not visited this location. The location is on the has a number of tables and it was busy. The employees do not address you so I ordered via the kiosk. I waited at a table and the place e was dirty. The floor was sticky and overall the place was unkept. The order took about the minutes. The drinks are made well, even really good every so often, as well as the açaí bowl, I'm not entirely sure for the rest of the food items. If they make a mistake they are happy to fix it. My drink (not including toppings) was prepared well but lacked flavor. I don't know if the person that took my order was supposed to ask how sweet I'd like my drink or not but I felt like the sweetner level had been significantly reduced. I asked for the star boba and the lychee jelly but I only received one. I'm not sure what happened. My other half ordered a Thai tea without boba. Oh dear. He got boba in his drink and the Thai tea wasn't steeped well. It tasted burnt almost. Hmm, I'm not sure what happened or what was going on but everything about that visit was off. read more

It was my first time trying this location and they have food, a variety of desserts, and a huge selection of drinks. They offer coffee, fresh juice, açaí bowls, tea, and boba drinks. The pistachio frappe is one of my favorites. My friend tried the pistachio milk tea and loved it. They have a huge selection so next time I'd try the taro coconut drink. As for the food they do have a lot of options but I'm not sure about the taste/quality. The waffle fries were a bit burnt. Maybe they were there all day. Not too sure. Might be more fresh in the morning. I believe they had fries, popcorn chicken and a few other food items. The dessert options are crepe cakes, cheesecakes, and macarons. The interior is pretty clean and spacious for people to come in groups or dates. There's a large parking lot behind the store. As for service I felt like the workers were nice enough. I've been to other locations before, but this one has been the best out of the many I've been to. Their popcorn chicken and fries are good and so are their slushies. It's only a 10-15 min walk from pcc, so it's very convenient for grabbing a drink and some food. Service has been good the 3 times I've gone in the past 2 weeks and they were helpful whenever I needed anything. The place has limited seating, but I haven't had trouble finding a seat with my friends if you go close to opening time. Only gets loud if there's a ton of people and there's music playing(has never been an issue, I enjoy the type of music they play). read more

I have been craving this Avocado Boba since I saw the advertisement. Today, I finally stopped by since I was in the area at the "99 Cent" store. I was apprehensive at first. However, after taking my first sip, I was very impressed. It was delicious. They service was just ok. The workers don't have much "ump" they have no energy. The place is cute inside with modern decor. Parking could be difficult due to them sharing a parking lot with other business. They have very reasonable prices. :) read more

I've been to It's Boba Time before in other locations, but this is my first time at the Pasadena location and my first time trying the Watermelon Slush. It was really hot and I was craving something refreshing to cool me down, and this was perfect! It tasted exactly like blended watermelon. I also tried their black and jasmine milk teas, and they were pretty good, nothing special but got the job done. They have a LOT of options on their menu, even acai bowls, so I'd recommend coming here if you want a variety of choices. I would come back and try their other slushes. read more

Boba time has been around for a very long time and I believe they recently have done some rebranding. Decided to try out this new location because they are open a little later than other local spots. Boba Time is a decent place for beginners. For me, the drinks are too artificial looking and tasting. I ordered a winter melon milk tea and it was neon green, which I have never seen. It also tasted like cantaloupe, which was very odd. I also ordered a peach slushee, which was overly sweet, but I did prefer it over the winter melon milk tea. read more

Greetings all, so I bought a large boba milk tea and paid over $6. I thought it was a bit overpriced. But to be fair, I did leave a $1 tip, because when you pay, the machine ask you to enter a tip amount, even when you purchase something to go, & you are not even being served at a table. I think that this is a business trend (for many businesses) that needs to end YESTERDAY. Everyone there was young and friendly enough, but I do have 2 gripes. 1. The cashier seems ultra engaged with her friends in line ahead of me, & took longer than necessary taking their order, sure have fun at work, but please be professional, & 2, this young lady was wiping down/ cleaning the pay counter, and actually hit my arm, because her head was down. I wasn't even leaning on, or touching the counter I was just standing close, looking at the menu. I'm sure it was caught on camera somewhere, last night. I will probably not return (unless they contact me, with a XL Boba Thai tea apology:) lol because there are plenty of great, & less expensive options in the area. I know that working in a restaurant is tough, I have done it, but be professional, & hang in there, & to the owner, it would be nice to remove that mandatory tip "option" on To-Go orders if possible. read more
