Stay away from this place! DO NOT GIVE THIS LOWLIFE YOUR MONEY! Message me and I will literally give you money to go to a Starbucks instead. As I write this I'm sitting on a public bench in front of this trash hole coffee stand. My friend and I walked into this place about 10 minutes ago with the intent of my friend purchasing a coffee. He comes here regularly as he lives in the area. I do not drink coffee at all therefore I wasn't getting coffee. The jerkoff clerk behind the counter mumbles "if you're staying with us we ask you each make a purchase." We shrugged off the comment as he made my friends coffee. After he finished making the coffee he once again said to my friend "that will be all" to which my friend relied "yes." The clerk then repeated "we ask you both to make a purchase if staying with us." I told him I will go out and sit on the public street on my motorcycle while my friend enjoys his coffee at the seated area outside the front of the shop. To which he replied for the third time "we ask you both make a purchase." I immediately told him he was a j***off and politely left the building. No shouting match or anything from either party. I was out with a friend who was just trying to enjoy a cup of these scumbags coffee. As I sit outside waiting he then refuses to serve my friend who is by far the most polite gentleman that comes into this store and tells him to leave because of his friend's (me) attitude. (No attitude here, I was just with a friend who wanted to buy coffee, I wasn't here to sit on his dirty couches inside his coffee place). Two other customers then exited the building and told us that was unacceptable and they won't be back. This prick owes me a big apology. Stay away from this guy. Don't bring your kids here unless they want a coffee because he doesn't want you anywhere near his shop unless he sees those wallets rolling for every single person in your party. By far the worst customer service experience I've ever seen in my life. Rude, condescending asshole operates this store. This review will be getting shared on every possible review outlet. Funniest part of all two of the guys who walked out of the store after this came up to me personally and thanked me for handling the situation well because they said they would have "jumped over the counter." To which I said this place isn't worth it. Take your money to a place with customer service. one lowlife runs the show here and causes six people to be waiting for coffee at a time on a Saturday morning. Stay away. I'm a young professional out with a friend on a relaxing motorcycle ride this morning. We aren't loud obnoxious 18 year olds stinking up the place. This guy is lucky I don't ride some loud obnoxious motorcycle because I gladly would have sat outside and let my bike idle all day to annoy people. Lucky for this guy I have more class than he does. This place is great, and the owners are super awesome. A friend and I were looking for a place to get coffee and sit around writing and doing our work-from-home jobs, and chanced upon this place on Yelp. After reading the reviews, we absolutely had to try it, as an alternative to our local Starbucks and Barnes & Nobles. I'm extremely glad we did. The coffee is good, and the variety is better. I had a cup of coffee I enjoyed, and a hot chocolate that was great, and customizable. The sandwiches and savory croissants were very good. The sweet stuff was also awesome, especially the fruit tart the owner recommended. That thing was seriously righteous. The decor is tasteful, and they low tables and chairs, high tables and chairs, and single and multiple seat couches, all comfortable. I highly recommend "The Coffee House" if you need a relaxed atmosphere to do some work or drink a cup of coffee in. read more

Coffee: Very Good Food: Very Good Ambience: Good This was my first time here. I came here after reading the reviews and since it was on my way to work I stopped one morning to grab coffee to go. My review is based on just stopping in for a few minutes. I got a latte and a chocolate croissants. The latte was foamy and light just the way I like it and the croissant was flaky and chocolate stuffed. Both of them I enjoyed a lot. I will admit that you can pretty much feed me anything with chocolate on it and I will say it's awesome. The lady working there was friendly and polite and the place seem to have a few regulars just hanging out and talking, which to me is always a good sign. I am most definitely coming back. read more

I've been to this place a handful of times, my latest being today. The people here are a mixture of both really nice, and extremely rude. I guess it depends on whos working. The owner, should do some type of customer service training with his staff. Some of the workers here are really bringing the place down and have attitutde issues. My drink wasn't made right. Pretty upset about it. I've been here a handufl of times, and came in and got just a basic americano. By the time I left, I took my first sip and noticed some problem with how it was made. Had a few additives to the mix, which set things off. I was upset about it. This place has a really great coffee selection and a really nice atmosphere. I stopped by here after getting my nails done across the street and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town. The staff were really nice and I was able to get a seat with out a problem. I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can enjoy the outdoor seating. read more

I had high hopes for this place due to the positive review, but I was less than impressed. I purchased several croissants and desserts. All but one of the croissants was burned on the bottom, and two of the desserts (creme brulee) were curdled. At 5+ apiece for the desserts, that was very annoying.
