I was feeling matcha and the drink was the perfect balance between matcha and ube, which paired perfectly with the food from Tacos Fita! One of the best breakfast burritos I've had in the PDX area. It was hot, fresh, and filling. The salsa paired well with it, too, and had a nice kick of heat that went perfectly with it. The service was fast, and they were accommodating with my burrito, which was meatless. We also got the churro latte and the horchata latte. The churro latte lacked flavor and didn't quite match the intensity of an espresso. The horchata latte tastes like pure espresso, no horchata taste. I stopped by Kasa Coffee for the first time today since they just opened and wanted to check out the hype. Walking in, the vibe immediately hits you. Warm, cozy, and super inviting with tons of natural light and plants everywhere. It feels less like a coffee shop and more like you just walked into someone's very cool kasa. The mural in the back by the bar is such a nice touch too, and I love that the space opens up in the evenings. Definitely a spot you could hang out for a while. I ordered the iced horchata latte and a breakfast burrito and both were fuego. The horchata latte was sweet, cinnamon-y, and ridiculously smooth. Like dessert pretending to be coffee. The breakfast burrito was hearty and legit satisfying, not one of those tiny "snack" burritos that leaves you sad 10 minutes later. Fair warning, this place is popular right now. There was a bit of a line, but honestly that just tells you it's good. You could say it's a full Kasa at the moment. Overall, great drinks, tasty food, and a chill atmosphere. Spacious, vibey, friendly service. There are many drinks I'd try here- and they have a variety of drinks including non-coffee options like smoothies and also matcha. The shop is very spacious with ample seating and comfortable seats. I get flashbacks of being a student and sitting in uncomfortable seats and being at shops that don't have food and I'd have to leave early to go eat but fret not because they have a decent food menu too. I enjoyed their horchata chai, it was the right amount of sweetness and their breakfast sandwich was packed with protein and veggies :) with the option of a brioche bun or bagel. Just tried this newly opened coffee shop and I'm already obsessed. I had the churro latte and an iced horchata latte--both were incredible. They use Upper Left Coffee Roasters (my fave!), which makes it even better. The breakfast burrito was hands down the best I've ever had. Friendly service, amazing food and coffee, and I can't wait to come back to try the ube and matcha lattes. I didn't like the burrito. There wasn't much flavor. There were barely any pieces of potatoes, only a few pieces of sausage and it seemed like it was mostly just eggs inside the burrito. The salsa I had was watery and had no spice. I'm surprised the burritos were like this since they are $16. We ordered the horchata and churro latte with extra shots of espresso and neither of them had good flavor. It didn't taste like horchata or churro to us. Also, the coffee was not strong at all and one hour later I had to stop by at another coffee shop for a double shot. So either they didn't add the extra shots we paid for or the coffee is just very weak. There was nowhere to sit so we walked around to find a bench at the park. I don't think I will not be returning. Unfortunate because I think the margaritas at tacos fita are amazing and so is the food and salsa there so I was expecting much better food and drinks at this coffee spot. read more

Super cute inside, nice tables, lots of natural sunlight & plants BUT there are only like 2 or 3 outlets in this entire place & they're all in the corners of the shop, so they're only accessible to the single person in the corner. Biggest pet peeve with coffee shops is when they lack a good number of outlets AND when they're inaccessible. All of these outlets are high up on the wall and used, so I asked one of the workers about the outlets & she was super helpful & brought me an extension cord. It's not their fault how the building was built but it's better than nothing I guess. Everyone working seems super nice & friendly as well. It ended up getting extremelyyyyy loud in there & usually I'm fine with background noise but it got overwhelming so I left. read more
