Over the last 5 years I have been turned into a nail art snob! Located in My Salon Suites in Henderson, Jenny has her own suite where she caters to 1 client at a time. You can have your own private mani/pedi without the bustle of a busy salon. She has treats, a TV, and a place for a companion to sit and wait. The space isn't huge but it's comfy! Additionally, she is quite easy to converse with.. and even if you want a nice quiet experience she definitely respects that. I even ordered some thai food because I was starving and she accommodated that. I've been coming to Jenny for over a year, usually only when I want gel nail art.. but when I do come, I always can count on my manicure to last at least 4-5 weeks- heck I got my nails done in mid-October 2018, went into labor end of November and managed to keep the nails until the first week of December. I specifically choose designs that grow out nicely. Her pedicures are thorough, relaxing, and she's able to remediate some issues you have-- for example, my toe nail cracked and she glued it down LOL. She has tons of colors to choose from and you can always bring in a design (which I like to search for on Instagram using #japanesenailart or #nailart) and she can copy it pretty well! You can text her to make an appointment and shes's pretty flexible, although can book up quickly. I'm including a photo of a couple of the grown out designs she's done for me. Made an appt in the morning for a 4pm gel x set and gel pedicure. Was expecting to be there 2hrs at the least but after checking in and then walked back, they set it up for me to have both services done at the same time at the pedicure seat. I appreciated that as it gave me an hour back. Upon entry, you're in the "foyer" of the shop and can only see a row of table for your hands/nails. The pedicure seats are behind the wall and opens up to a room with white chairs. So fresh and clean looking. I was facing a huge monitor/TV with a serene images of Japan and cherry blossoms to take me away, while I'm worked on. Sarah did my pedicure and was amazing and soothing. A few coat of nail polish and a nice leg massage with orange lotion. Milly did my gel x set and you can see from my picture, it was perfect. Clean and nice lines and exactly as I wanted, coffin shape and elongated. A soft drink or water was offered when I was called back for my services. I enjoyed the services and will be back.

They had me play musical chairs and I didn't even get the nail tech with whom I had made the appointment three days in advance. Dom triple booked himself, while I got who he said was his cousin. The cousin was about to start an acrylic fill when I told stopped him and said it was just gel polish. He asked who had done my nails because they were thick. I pointed to Don and said, "Him". Mind you, I didn't think so at all, so that was awkward. There were other things not worth mentioning. They just added to the already bad taste the visit was leaving. Without me saying anything, it seemed like Don tried to make up for it by not charging for the chrome, and telling them to let me sit in the massage chair longer. It was too late. But as soon as I started going to Leyda, she made a point of testing out different powders and primers to find the best one for my nails, now they last so much longer! The care and attention to detail provided by Leyda is something I've never experienced with a nail technician before and that I truly appreciate. Leyda is incredibly talented when it comes to nail art. Whenever I bring in a picture or idea, Leyda absolutely nails it (no pun intended). She's very artistic and puts a lot of focus and attention into each nail - it always turns out beautifully. Oh Nails is the perfect little salon. It is a great location and although the salon is small, it is beautifully decorated and furnished in a way that does not feel at all small or cluttered.
