WORST experience staying at a condo... We visit Orange beach at least 10 times a summer and I've…read morenever experienced what we did at this place. We had 3 moms and 6 kids ( 3 of which were 2 and under ). Our condo was a 3 bedroom. 1 king, 1 king, 2 fulls and a twin. So definitely accommodates 3 small families. The property manager was the rudest person I've ever encountered while staying at a condo. She was very very aggressive and non professional. One of the moms had to leave and go get a hotel for the duration of our stay because we had 9 ( 1 of the 3 under 2 was 9 months ). She stated that they " had the same rules as an airplane" which that analogy is irrelevant seeing how my 9 month old and the 2 year olds are allowed to sit in laps on a plane. She also would not even allow them to hang out on the beach with us. Told us that they needed to get off her property now and if she caught them out on the beach she would have them removed. This was the biggest inconvenience seeing how we paid for a place on the beach so we didn't have to load up and drive our kids to the public beach. She walked around the entire stay on a power trip basically bullying everyone. I'm all about following the rules but the property manager needs to learn how to be nice and respectful for people that are paying to stay at her place. This place and all owners need to state in their rental agreement, 8 people max, meaning 8 heartbeats. Doesn't matter if they're 2 weeks old, this place will still make them count in that number. We were just 3 nurses who didn't have surgery because of Memorial Day weekend and decided to take our kids down to the beach and this lady ruined our entire trip. So if you plan on staying here with more than 8 people including infants, you won't be allowed too! My husband who was not there was also not very happy seeing how we were 3 women down there with small babies and she basically kicked some of us out. All around worst experience at a condo. Now our condo we stayed in was beautiful and I would have loved to have been a returning quest seeing how we frequent down here very often but I will NEVER return here after this experience. I hate this is affecting the owners of the condo because I have read several reviews dating back years of people that have had the same issue.

This was our first trip to Perdido Key, and our family is sold. The water is prettier, less crowded, less expensive, and only 15 minutes away from the upscale, expensive dining options of Orange Beach. The local restaurants in PK are not pretentious and expensive. Our family agreed, this was like to going to 30-A 30 years ago, before it got too trendy and too crowded. if you are not familiar with Perdido Key and Beach Colony, check em out. we are glad we did.

The resort has direct beach access and incredible Gulf views, but the amenities really set it apart. There are multiple indoor and outdoor pools, lazy rivers, a splash pad, and an awesome four-story waterslide. The condos are spacious, and having a private hot tub and grill on your Gulf-front balcony is hard to beat. There are also plenty of other activities, including tennis, pickleball, putting greens, fitness facilities, and poolside food and drinks. Turquoise Place gives you the space and privacy of a beachfront condo with the amenities of a high-end resort. After two great stays, we would absolutely come back again!

Nothing was done when we reported this to you 1 Feb 2026. There was not even a suggestion to place curtains as a temporary 2. arrangement. 3. The seat coverings are ripped and cut into bare legs. 4. The patio door does not close or lock. 5. The screen on the patio door is ripped and is not pretty to look at. 6. The patio furniture is not good. One chair has no arm and should be tossed in the trash. The table is unusable. 7. Other of the furniture are unusable. 8. Two of the units of the four-slice toaster do not work. 9. There should be covers on the kitchen chairs as they screech when moved over the floor. 10. The laundry toilet leaks. 11. At least one electrical outlet did not work---there may have been more. 12. There were rips and tears in the wallpaper which looked awful. I would have expected that the place is looked at by some knowledgeable person in between bookings to make sure it is in good shape. Obviously, it is not. In summation, it appears this unit requires extensive renovation in order to meet expectations of its guests. Maintenance should be regular, consistent and attended to on a schedule. This unit has been very remiss in maintaining its property. It is obvious the owner is averse to spending money on this unit. Because this owner has no interest in maintenance nor the interests of the people /guests whom they expect to pay for their lack of consideration, it is my recommendation this unit be taken off available condo offerings until it is properly maintained and upgraded so that guests may experience good times while using it. The balcony is nice sized and several people can be accommodated out there. The view of pool and ocean, white sand beach was best feature. Mostly families but some college age kids playing music a little loud. I have to add I was just out on the balcony. I extended my arm past the railing and it was raining. My sister, who was already out there, laughed and said it wasn't rain. Someone was cleaning the unit above us, scrubbing the balcony and sweeping the water over the side so it came down on us. They also threw wads of hair over the balcony. Pretty nasty to be under.

I really really wanted to like this condo because the patio and view were so nice; however, one thing after another happened and we ended up having to check out two nights early. From the moment we walked in, the condo had a very musty odor that we thought was just due to the cleaning products used, but turned out to be a very bad mold situation in the condo. You could tell that they had been attempting to cover up the situation by spraying and repainting the areas with mold, but they were never addressing the leakage issues and the mold was a major problem in the unit. We went and bought air purifiers attempting to make the unit work, but we have several people traveling with us that have terrible allergies and the longer we stayed in the unit the more sick we became from being exposed to the mold. The thing that finally tipped us over the edge and required us to leave early was the fact that we found a huge RAT (not mouse) in the condo. It was later divulged to us that the rat issue was known and that prior to our check in, poison had been placed in the unit. By the time we found the rat, it was half dead and had coughed up blood on the curtains. One rat was caught by the maintenance crew, but we continued to find rat droppings on the furniture and we refused to stay in this disgusting unit any longer. We were able to get a refund for all but one night. Throughout the process of talking to several employees trying to remedy the situation the issues we had were clearly very common at this property. I would never stay in this place again and I would recommend others to stay away as well until the management takes action to properly care for this property.
