Stumbled upon this winebar when wandering around the area. The man who served me was knowledgeable about the wines, which is always a plus. I enjoyed the rose I tried. Indoor seating appeared to be limited, but I believe there is a larger outdoor seating area that I didn't explore. The wine list wasn't extensive, but they did have a decent amount of variety. They also offer a range of price points, so it's approachable to many. The only thing I was told that seems to be a potential yellow flag is that they don't get new wine every often. My understanding is that they switch out their standard selections occasionally, but they don't really bring in something new to try/test with the customers. I always enjoy trying new wines, so if this is true (and I'm not mistaken), I'd eventually try everything they offer. On the flip side, some people like consistency and knowing their favorite wine will always be available, so to each their own. We visited The Colony Wine Bar after dinner and puttputt on a Saturday night. There was a lot of outdoor space to sit and hangout with your people. We enjoyed a bottle of the Ely Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Cool plastic pitcher and wine glasses were given to us. There are Tv's and good music playing. Nearby bathroom - one stall. Lots of other things to do while in Grandscape. Parking was a little tricky because it was so busy, but there is a lot of parking around the area. They are still doing construction on Grandscape so be prepared for that. read more

I will say, the inside bar is super small, so be mindful of that. We actually chose to sit outside because it was more open. I wish I had gotten the name of the person who helped he because she was so sweet and helpful. We both chose to try and canned wine cocktail and they were both delicious and strong. So here is my great experience of today. I currently live in another state and I wanted to provide a gift for my niece. Who's stuck at home. Might I add that it is snowing really hard out in Texas right now where everything is shut down and this woman went out her way to give me a call back just to follow up on a client that she knows nothing about an assisted me with getting my Niece a nice bottle of wine, and also delivering it to her. This is a cute little spot in the Grandscape area. I love how tucked away this place is! It made the date with my husband even more romantic. We both ordered a white wine flight, which we both really enjoyed. The place is pretty small and only had a few tables and a little bar area that seats like 6 so it's nice and cozy. I would have enjoyed it even more if they had more white wine options available, as the options were a little limited. Everything was good though! The staff was very friendly as well. read more

This review encompasses both the patio and separate bottle shop. For the record, I'm a non-drinker, but it's by choice so I have no issues hanging out in a bar or drinking atmosphere. The Patio area is a polished relaxed vibe where you can sit outdoors under a nice covering and people watch around the Grandscape Lawn. You can sit at the bar but we prefer to sit at the tables or in front of the fireplace when it's chilly. I usually show up with a beverage from nearby Liberation Coffee while my friends/family partake in the adult beverages. The thing I appreciate most about TC Wine Bar is the staff in the bottle shop. Buying wine can be very intimidating, especially for someone who knows very little about it. But when given as a gift, people really appreciate it so I like to use this as my go-to housewarming/white elephant gift. When buying for a particular person, I let the staff know what I'm looking for in general terms and they help narrow down the selection. They never make me feel stupid or act like I'm wasting their time. Instead, they educate without over-informing. I've been able to buy some really nice gifts that have led to the receiver seeking out TC Wine Bar on their own. The bottle shop is a small intimate area so it's less overwhelming and easy to get one-to-one help. Whatever your wine needs, I highly recommend The Colony Wine Bar and I believe they offer online shopping for those who know what they like. read more

Not our kind of place. We were looking for a nice patio to sit on and enjoy the nice fall weather. There were a couple soft chairs but most were hard metal and not the kind you would want to sit at and enjoy a glass of wine. The wine was served in a plastic cup which you can take with you and walk around but it was not worth the $10 we paid. read more

First time we visited here, it was great. However since it has been getting busier, the customer service has gone down greatly. Unless you're willing to fight your way up past the 6 chairs at the bar to get something, they are not helpful. While we were looking at the bottles of wine on the wall (because we were going to purchase a couple), we were asked to leave due to capacity without being offered service once. Several other people were in the shop that could've been asked to step outside. The employee's name at the bar was Melissa. Very disappointing, won't be returning to spend our money there. read more
