Stumbled upon this winebar when wandering around the area. The man who served me was knowledgeable about the wines, which is always a plus. I enjoyed the rose I tried. Indoor seating appeared to be limited, but I believe there is a larger outdoor seating area that I didn't explore. The wine list wasn't extensive, but they did have a decent amount of variety. They also offer a range of price points, so it's approachable to many. The only thing I was told that seems to be a potential yellow flag is that they don't get new wine every often. My understanding is that they switch out their standard selections occasionally, but they don't really bring in something new to try/test with the customers. I always enjoy trying new wines, so if this is true (and I'm not mistaken), I'd eventually try everything they offer. On the flip side, some people like consistency and knowing their favorite wine will always be available, so to each their own. My rating is on my experience at this first visit, and not what may or may not be. Check it out if you like winebars.

We visited The Colony Wine Bar after dinner and puttputt on a Saturday night. There was a lot of outdoor space to sit and hangout with your people. We enjoyed a bottle of the Ely Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Cool plastic pitcher and wine glasses were given to us. There are Tv's and good music playing. Nearby bathroom - one stall. Lots of other things to do while in Grandscape. Parking was a little tricky because it was so busy, but there is a lot of parking around the area. They are still doing construction on Grandscape so be prepared for that.

I saw other people's reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect; but still wanted to give them a shot. My partner and I decided to go for a glass of wine in a Friday night and enjoyed ourselves. I will say, the inside bar is super small, so be mindful of that. We actually chose to sit outside because it was more open. I wish I had gotten the name of the person who helped he because she was so sweet and helpful. We both chose to try and canned wine cocktail and they were both delicious and strong. I had the Paloma and my partner had the cranberry cosmo. Even caught the tail end of I've music. We will definitely be back here soon!

This is a cute little spot in the Grandscape area. I love how tucked away this place is! It made the date with my husband even more romantic. We both ordered a white wine flight, which we both really enjoyed. The place is pretty small and only had a few tables and a little bar area that seats like 6 so it's nice and cozy. I would have enjoyed it even more if they had more white wine options available, as the options were a little limited. Everything was good though! The staff was very friendly as well.

Saw a few people stumbling out of here! Open air bar located right next to the stage where live music plays on the weekends. If you are looking for a quiet area, this ain't it! Looks cool though! I don't drink anything but H2O so I can't rate the beverages!

There is a nice patio area to sit outside, it's super close to where they do the live music stage with the free shows which is awesome.

The venue is designed to resemble a Prohibition-era speakeasy, with an entrance accessible through a rotary phone inside a red telephone booth (which actually works!). Our tour was led by Jamie, who shared his extensive knowledge as he guided us through the Prohibition Era alongside our concierge, Landon. The speakeasy features stunning floors made of 120-year-old Italian wood, beautifully decorated with art, books, and a selection of premium entertainment and spirits. Patrons can request "prescriptions," which are 2oz alcoholic shots inspired by the owner's grandfather, who was a pharmacist. Cocktails and friendly service was provided by Emma and Kyle, their services were a nod to Bob Ruede, RPB's renowned Intoxicologist, along with other award-winning bartenders recognized for their excellence in service and hospitality. Eric, the Cigar Attendant, is knowledgeable about how to properly enjoy an exceptional cigar experience. The Mafia Room is an exclusive space perfect for guys' and girls' nights, intimate events, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. While Red Phone Booth offers exclusive membership tiers with premium perks, you don't need to be a member to enjoy the Prohibition experience. First our waiter kept getting distracted by waitresses and took forever to come back to us even just for simple drink orders. Forget about ordering food. Since we were in happy hour we ordered a ton of apps, so disappointing. The food was nowhere near the caliber ridiculous cost. The crab tasted old and like drinking ocean water, the ribs were dry and the shrimp app came with 9 small/ med shrimp for $20. My martini was okay the first round and then the bartender kept adding soda water for the next two. $20 smoked martini was smoked for literally 5 seconds. Then we get our check, which is completely wrong and over charged so if you don't heed the warning, check your ticket. And then to top of the extremely slow service and mediocre overpriced food, the night ended at 7:10 when the evening hostess came over and loudly announced we were only able to be seated because we promised to leave by 7. One of the most unprofessional and inaccurate interactions I've had. Don't bother. Don't go. Unless of course you enjoy disappointment at a deep cost.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

We ended up order a variety of food and drinks. All of the food was great! From a timing perspective, we went on a Tuesday evening. While the venue was mostly empty in the main dining room and bar, the private room was full. This made service extremely slow. On the plus side, if you're there to hang out -- slow service isn't as bad with a good cocktail. The staff were very polite and friendly...just a little overworked in my opinion.

The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.
