In the months leading up to my wedding Alicia was easy to communicate with, very good about reminding me when payments were due, as well as prompting me with short and easy surveys to help her plan for the day of my wedding. She had me pick out photos of myself wearing makeup that I particularly liked, as well as hair/make-up inspiration photos for my wedding look. With that and a little instruction for me, she was able to very easily create a full look that was exactly what I wanted. She also did a hair and makeup test for my mother, and my mom felt SO beautiful - a priceless gift. Alicia is a pro at working with mature hair and skin. My favorite part of working with Alicia was her openness to making changes to ensure that I felt 100% confident in my hair and makeup. This was so valuable, and helped me to feel comfortable the morning of my wedding knowing that she would spend as much time as needed with me. Her sweet, cheerful presence and true artistry were so appreciated. If you are picky about hair and makeup (or have moms/bridesmaids who are), I recommend making sure you have enough time scheduled so that Alicia can really take her time with you on your day. I think we originally planned for 2 hours for my hair and makeup but it ended up being about 3 hours in total when all was said and done. Suzy stepped in last minute and truly saved the day. She was fun, professional, and had such a great vibe--exactly the kind of energy you want on your wedding morning.
