My experience and review is based on an online to go order. The place is a little small and was pretty crowded as expected for a Saturday morning. I ordered at about 10:30 and the food was not ready until 11:10. I noticed that the extra side of scrambled eggs I had ordered was not in the bag so I walked back in to ask about it. I was sent to someone near the kitchen named Maya. When I asked Maya she said I would have to wait about 5 minutes so that she could help other people and look into it. She was very rude and since I had already waited, I went and sought help from the front. My issue was then resolved in less than a minute. I will never have good things to say about a place that is rude due to their own errors. People are human and definitely make mistakes, but don't double down on it by being rude. And just for additional review: the food was cold in the 5 minutes it took to get home. Definitely won't be going back there. read more

AMAZING I had high expectations, and this place exceeded all of those expectations. The food was so good. I wish I had tried it sooner, to be straight forward. This place is categorized as extraordinary coffee plus breakfast place. Starting from the cute decor by the entrance all the way to seating area. The design is quite unique to my opinion. Welcomed by quite big wooden menu display by the entrance and on the side there is cute corner which add value to their decor. Macchiato was fine and the Vanilla Ice Latte was really good. We ordered Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the bread itself so thick and puffy! Highly recommend of you are not that hungry to get this bite! The service of this place was terrible. The seating is limited and first come first serve basis, so don't expect to be seated promptly if you go with a large group on the weekend. I went with a party of five and when I saw a open table I had to ask the server to help clean it up, they took away the dishes and didn't even bother to wipe the table. I had to do it myself with napkins. The food was ok but WAY over priced. The orange juice was $4 a cup which they poured out of a gallon concentrate orange juice jug that prob cost $4 for the gallon. The banana pudding French toast was lacking. More like heavy banana bread pudding and desperately needed syrup or heavy whipping cream for dipping. We ended up dipping in half and half. Also the fingerling potatoes while tasty were dry and needed some ranch or honey mustard. Bringing Chik-fil-a sauces next time. Food preparation is good. I do like that things here are less on the sweet side and the ingredients are fresh. Price is a little high but I think the quality is close. However rating is low entirely based the service. Cashier took whole 5 to 10 minutes on a 3 item order without modification. Staff does anything to keep their head down and so it's impossible to wave for their attention. I was waiting right in front of the table the waitresses comes by all the time to pick up and deliver the food and honestly all 3 of them passing by didn't lift their eyes for a second. Which actually I was fine with. It can be busy. But I was standing so long the kitchen staff looked up to me and decided to help me all on his own. I never waved him down and he was kind enough to hand over the extra spoon and bowl I was trying to ask for. Now I understand that places can be busy. But what cemented this experience was what I can only assume is the manager coming up and lecturing me for distracting the chef. I didn't want the dang chef. I wanted waitress. I went today with my mom and a friend to have breakfast, and it was the worst breakfast in all Rancho Cucamonga. Everything started when the cashier told me they were having issues and my meal was going to be served to go, but that I can stay and eat at any table, I said that's ok we sat and wait. While waiting I saw everyone was getting their nice plates all pretty, and in an actual ceramic plate. My food was served deconstructed and in boxes, I ordered the toasted and shrooms and it was a piece of toast in one box, an egg in another box and the sauce in a plastic container. I couldn't pour the sauce cause the carton box was not going to resist the wet food, so I asked for a plate and the lady who was there gave me the tiniest plate she had. We couldn't enjoy our food at all. We ordered coffee and it came after I finished my breakfast with the mimosas, we had to eat with no drinks available for us. When they served the mimosas they said we don't have any more orange juice so I gave you cranberry, they didn't even ask if I wanted to change. We literally ate and left. I don't recommend this place. It is not cheap and it is not worth it. read more

It opens early so that's nice! I went there to charge my car while on the way to snowboard. Overall it was good, but for sure a little bit hectic in there. Cashier couldn't heat up our pastries, she forgot about my iced tea, and they didn't have a lot of stuff that were on the menu. With that said they were very apologetic and nice about it so not too bad. Chicken sandwich taste was really good, so that was a surprise but the chicken itself was a little dry. I had to add dirty potatoes on the side, to satisfy my hunger but tbh I think it should come with. The potatoes were good, but a little more flavor wouldn't hurt. Cortado we ordered was good. We decided to stop by on a whim, since we were in the area, and everything was great. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. There was a short wait at the entrance, to order and pay, and then you seat yourself and they bring out your food. I'm starting to notice this model more and more with food establishments, and I don't really mind it, as I see the convenience for the owners. However, it does make it inconvenient if you'd like to go back and add something to your order and there's a long line to wait again. We ordered a regular latte, a pour over coffee, a mimosa, the combine breakfast, and the french toast. Great bison burger, except one of them, was cooked a little too much and the other was not cooked enough. The chai was great, just a little pricey. The real winner here is the POTATOES, O M G! The side of potatoes, enough said. I could literally just eat a whole bowl of those. The staff does come to your table and do table side serve which we appreciated. The kimchi rice was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Let me repeat, the kimchi rice was perfect. I would go back for the potatoes and the kimchi rice alone but might bring coffee from home only because it might be a little better than their overpriced starbucks-ambitious coffee drinks. The pastries were good too, we got the berry tart or danish whatever it was, and a chocolate croissant. Overall I gave 4 stars because the order was a little expensive, just to give you a heads up. This review is quite a few months late (over half a year ago from when I actually visited, sorry for my long delay), so keep that in mind. I came here at the suggestion of a friend for a Wednesday late brunch/lunch and ordered the yolk and shrooms toast. It was actually pretty good, the creaminess of the sauce really soaks into the bread which added flavor without making it unpleasantly soggy. I don't like mushrooms that much, but I think they did a good job making it savory, and also presenting it in an aesthetically pleasing way. I only wish the food was a little cheaper. I CAN NOT express my disdain enough with this place! I waited 55 minutes for an order of fries and they weren't even what I ordered. I ordered loaded fries with bbq jack fruit and vegan cheese. They initially came out with cheese only AFTER 55 MINUTES of waiting. I noticed a charge of "day old" on my receipt I asked what it was and was told it was the muffin I ordered. So wait a minute I ordered a vegan Spanish latte muffin and you don't tell me it's a day old so it's discounted? And then after nearly an hour of waiting for my fries that YOU got wrong I was charged to add the jack fruit as initially ordered. I'm not sure I'd patronize this business again. They offer free WiFi, phone orders, and orders through grub hub and door dash. They have patio and indoor seating available. There's tons of Tesla charging ports available. Items we ordered were the following along with their ratings: Angel French toast: BEWARE the pics you see on Yelp of how French toast usually looks like.. is their "old menu" item and they NO longer serve French toast in 4 pieces as shown. Their French toasts costs $14 and it is 3" thick!!! My nursing friend had trouble cutting through them because it was tremendously way too dry and way too thick to even eat nor cut through. I went back in and spoke to one of the waitresses and she said the French toasts in the pics were older and they no longer serve those for they have changed their menu item. One thing I'd say, if it's not broken, why fix it?? Their newly renovated French toasts will drive their business down, and that is a fact. Spoke again to Ellie our other waitress and she was very friendly and did apologize for how the food came out. Offered some suggestions and I decided to not come back for a refund, I'd just never come back to buy this item, or just not come back to this restaurant altogether. Breakfast burrito: This tasted very mediocre for a breakfast burrito and nothing really stood out.. Dirty potatoes: Probably the most decent item that we ordered as far as food. It does not look like how it used to look. These were literally just potatoes with crusted parm on top. Pumpkin spice latte iced & hot: They're okay, definitely thought Starbucks tasted better. I really wanted to love this place based on the reviews, but our experience wasn't what we hoped it be. The ambiance is calm & subtle & inviting. They have indoor & outdoor seating which is nice. You pay for your food first then wait for your drinks & if dining in, they take the food to you. We had the French toast which was pretty good. We had the combine breakfast, which I feel we would of enjoyed if the potatoes weren't cold. The orange juice tasted very acidic in an expired way. I had a lavender latte which was a little too sweet for my taste, if you enjoy sweet things, this may be right for you. The sourdough bread that came with our combine breakfast was delicious. It was very nice to sit outdoors, just heads up, there's a lot of little cute birds around, the moment you get up from your seat, they go right for your food. The order we got has potatoes that are like rocks (burnt), eggs that are uncooked (risk of salmonella), French toast on scrambled eggs which made the eggs sweet with syrup. Service is slow and people that work there are rude! waited for my one coffee for 20 minutes they had people waiting for their drinks impatiently wondering what is taking them so long! They didn't have ice Americano. I asked if they can make my cafe de Olla ice she said yes but gave me a hot one after waiting almost 20 minutes! They apparently didn't have oat milk at 10 am on a Friday morning! I didn't even bother to return the mid coffee I got because that would have been another 20 minutes of my time! One of our favorite places to eat Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch in Rancho Cucamonga. The Combine Kitchen serves breakfast everyday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is a small café having both inside dining and patio seating. The ambience of this place is soothing and aesthetic. They have a fairly small menu with a good amount of coffee shop style drink options. We tried their Latte, Dirty Potatoes, Yolk and Shrooms, and Steak And Eggs Toast. The staff was nice, friendly, and cooperative. We ordered food at the counter, and they brought it out to us. We enjoyed the food, but the price was a little bit high considering the portions.
