As soon as we walked in, the manager Stephan was right at the door ready to greet us. He already knew who we were and welcomed us like we were regulars. That kind of attentiveness is rare--you usually have to look for a manager, but here he was front and center, making sure everything was perfect from the start. The restaurant was busy (always a good sign!), but we were seated quickly and treated with such kindness and efficiency. The service overall was excellent--friendly, attentive, and just a great vibe all around. And the FOOD... absolutely incredible. I had the skirt steak with rice, beans, and salad--10/10, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My friend had the fish and loved it just as much. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. Between the amazing food and the outstanding service, this place is a gem. Huge thank you to Stephan and the entire team for making us feel so welcomed--we'll definitely be back!

I asked the server what it was because how amazing it smelled, and he said it was the mixed seafood in lobster sauce. I ordered that and it came. There was squid, shrimp, mussel and clam in the soup. It came with rice and fries as well. It was the most tender squid and clam I ever had in my life. I highly recommend it. We were there for quite a bit and no one rushed us. It's an extremely friendly establishment. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Over a…read moredozen visits to Mi Tierrita, and the baseline truth remains undefeated: the food is cooked exceptionally well, and the platters are monstrous designed to easily feed two. TIn regards to the decor, this isn't a place chasing modern trends, and it's all the better for it. The rotisserie chicken has that perfect, deeply seasoned skin that only comes from a kitchen that knows its craft, and the salmon is a exceptional. It's an authentic, unapologetic Colombian staple where you can just head to the bar, grab a cold beer, watch the game, and get exactly what you came for. Food (4/5): Fantastic. The rotisserie chicken is packed with flavor, and the salmon is consistently excellent. The sheer volume of food is staggering. Customer Service (3.75/5): Reliable and down-to-earth. The staff keeps things moving smoothly, whether you're at a table or sitting at the bar. Decor (3.5/5): It isn't modern, but it doesn't need to be. It feels accurate, warm, and entirely right for an authentic neighborhood Colombian spot. Price: Around $25 per person. In an era of shrinking plates and rising prices, the value you get for the sheer amount of quality food here is a total steal.

Come hungry... seriously. The portions at Sabor a Colombia are no joke! Most of our table ordered…read moresteak while one person went with chicken, and those steaks came out sizzling, which definitely made an entrance. If you're starving, go ahead and grab an appetizer. If you're just normally hungry, skip it because the entrées are more than enough. I had the steak with mushrooms and onions. The steak itself was cooked well, but I would've loved more mushrooms, and personally I think it would pair much better with rice and beans instead of French fries. The chicken options also felt a little limited compared to the long list of steak dishes. The appetizers could use some love too. Three empanadas on a plate and calling it an appetizer felt a little... phoned in. Give us a little flair! Service was a bit confusing because it seemed like everyone was helping every table, so we never really knew who our actual server was. We asked for the check because we had a show to get to, got an "okay," and then watched our server head over to another table first. Cue everyone checking their watches. The drinks were tasty, but I'm still on the fence about whether they were freshly made or not. Overall? It was a decent experience. The portions are generous, the steaks are the star of the menu, and there's definitely potential here. Would I rush back? Maybe not. Would I tell you not to go? Also no. This is one of those places where you'll have to grab a fork and decide for yourself.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a staff member who was very welcoming. We ordered an arepa with shredded beef, yoyos with grilled chicken, and a chicha. Everything was delicious! Just be prepared to get a little messy. It's not exactly a first date spot lol. The chicha was especially good. It's a bit thick, which makes it feel more like a dessert drink. It tasted just like rice pudding, which I loved. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.

At first i didnt understand why then I realized they were donations for Venezuela victims from the earthquakes which was nice. My sister ordered me the Venezuelan sandwich "pepito" with chicken and steak. The sandwich was very good and tasty. It was a big serving and tasted like it was made with love. However, when my dad went to pay the bill at the end they tried to charge an operating fee of $7. My dad complained thats illegal and the lady tried to say its a fee to maintain the space. I never heard of an operating fee anywhere and for that I took off 1.5 stars. Please eliminate that fee if you want to keep customers because the food was great!
