Came here for dinner while in the area. I had a reservation and was quickly seats when I arrived. The waitress was very attentive. They have happy hour Sunday-Thursday from 5-7. I ordered a golden hour trio: calamari, brussel sprouts and a conche burger slider, an old fashion and the jivara from the happy hour menu. The old fashion was great! The food was amazing as well. The calamari was crispy, the brussel sprouts were cooked well and the slider was very tasty. I see why the conche burger is a recommended dish. I also ordered the steak frites. The fries were tasty with plenty of parmesan. The steak was very tasty too, cooked perfectly. I also ordered a side of whipped garlic potatoes and creamed spinach to go to have with my leftover steak. The decor is very nice. The napkins are rolled up on each plate. There's a nice size bar with seating and you can also see the pasty chef preparing deserts. I also got a few chocolates from the front prior to leaving. Definitely a great spot for any occasion!!

    Manjari dessert!

This is one of my fav places to dine. For a moment in time they removed my fav dis, the chicken and biscuit but it's back. The atmosphere is always chill and the drinks are always good. The service today was better than times in the past. Even with past servers not being so great , I'd still rate this place a 5 because of the food. We have had the short ribs, shrimp and grits (not me but guests), juevos rancheros, and all of the desserts. All good. I e had a few cakes made here too. Absolutely delicious.

Whether you're a chocolate lover or not, The Conche is a spot you need to experience at least once. There's really nothing else like it, the way they incorporate chocolate into both sweet and savory dishes feels creative without being overdone. For drinks, The Moussetache was smooth and velvety with rich chocolate notes, while Fetish felt like a true dessert in a glass, decadent and indulgent. The espressotini had a bold coffee kick, and the Passion Agave mocktail was light and refreshing. The entrees were just as impressive. The Conche Burger was juicy and flavorful with subtle cocoa depth, the Harissa Chicken Sizzle came out tender with a nice balance of heat and smoky sweetness, and the Ribeye was perfectly cooked, rich, and elevated by their signature touch. The ambiance is warm, modern, and intimate, perfect for a date night or a special dinner. Service was attentive and welcoming, and they even surprised us with a birthday dessert of assorted chocolates, which was such a thoughtful touch. It's one of those places where every detail feels intentional and it definitely leaves an impression.

Always enjoy coming here. Great friendly service. My fave is short ribs companelle pasta which vines with generous amounts of braised short ribs, mushrooms and creamy mushroom sauce. A-la-carte sides such as rosemary truffle fries are also delicious... and then there are some real decadent chocolates for all palates. Ample free parking on streets and garages.

This is a pretty unique place located all the way in Leesburg, VA, as most of the menu sweet or savory emphasize some element of chocolate. Expensive but worthwhile splurge. I went here on a Friday dinner and reservations are fairly easy to get last minute. As I arrived on the earlier side, I was able to request specific seats, and they accommodated. I made a note in the reservations to sub the 3-course prix fixe menu dessert to the Conche Entremet, and they were able to for a $15 supplement, still cheaper than buying all the entrees a la carte for a solo diner. However, do note that even for a 3 course meal, it is a lot of food and I ended up only able to finish a quarter of the dessert. It may be better to order a la carte and share the dinner as a party of 2 or 3. I got the Conche caesar salad which had cocoa nibs. It otherwise tasted like a caesar salad but with a little bit of flair to it. I wished there were more cocoa nibs to savor the uniqueness of the dish. For main course, I had the braised short rib that was pretty solid - fairly tender beef and delicious accompaniments. It was hard to extract out the chocolate flavor here. For dessert, of course I got the Conche Entremet. It is a whole show and the dessert lights up the chocolate shell on fire and it melts to open up the actual dessert inside. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, the presentation, and the actual dessert, which is a cake with ice cream inside. I got the wine pairing and the wines, although not of the fanciest quality, pairs very well so they did a pretty good job with the pairing with the flavor profile. Service is good as water refills were present and each dish came out at a good cadence without feeling too rushed.

Loved the cocktails!!!!!!!! Such a special treat!

Absolutely delightful staff who greeted us enthusiastically at the door and kept a very positive experience throughout the entire meal. The food is very well thought out and executed, incorporating chocolate in every dish providing that amazing savory flavor that is so unique. The ambiance is great and although not large amount of seating inside it feels very intimate for each table. Each course was better than the next. What an amazing restaurant.

Dessert. Their version of cheesecake. Delicious!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Conche in Leesburg, and wow....just wow! We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back to this gorgeous restaurant. The food was outstanding, and every detail from the presentation to the service was excellent. Everything was spot on....And the food is delicious! The staff were warm and personable, making it a truly perfect evening! I would have to say, I would pick Conche over Tuskies or Lightfoot.

Have been here few times but never got a chance to write a review, I mainly come here to get my sweet-tooth fix. I love their dessert called Jivara. When I saw Souffle in the menu, I decided to make a trip. N it did not disappoint!!! This time I had the Salmon dish with came with Cannellini beans and an Apple salad with some sause. It was amazzzzing. It was one of the few dishes on the menu that didnt have any "sweet" ingredient in it - the way I prefer it. Not only was the Salmon cooked perfectly, each component of the dish worked so well together. I relished every bite. N then came the Soufflé. So pretty! N so yummy. It was really nice n delicate. It came with some sweet cream and choose vanilla ice cream. The other choices were chocolate or caramel. I thought vanilla will go well with chocolate Souffle n it did!! Hope they keep it on the re

As soon as you step foot in The Conche you are introduced to the concept. Look to the left and you see a tantalizing display of chocolates. Look to the right and you see a display with a conche machine demonstrating how their chocolate is processed. I can't tell you if a conche truly produces better chocolate, but the sweet side of the menu really gets the job the done. I'm a bit unsure about everything else. I almost visited this restaurant a month ago during the lunch hour and it was completely empty. It made me hesitate, and when I walked in the door for my eventual dining experience the tables were still sparsely populated. This did not translate to particularly attentive service. Our waiter, though very kind when he came to the table, seemed to have his attention split three ways between the front counter, the kitchen, and the tables. Perhaps this a necessity given the light lunch crowd. I ordered The Conche Burger, which was recommended to me by the waiter. It was a mixed experience. The burger patty itself was decadent: braised short rib, cooked a perfect medium rare, and it had a nice bite from the sharp Vermont cheddar. It was really quite good overall, but I couldn't help but wonder where the other flavors were. The one thin slice of tomato was doing no work. The chocolate BBQ sauce, one of the only things on the lunch menu that leans into the concept, was inperceptible. The burger could really use a leafy, bitter green to offset the fattiness. My daughter got parm crusted chicken strips with fries from the kids menu. It was solid and she loved it, but I wasn't the biggest fan of paying $14 for a kids meal with no drink. The chocolate though . . . First of all, I don't know if this is a regular happening at the restaurant, but our waiter brought us two chocolates flavored with Pomegranate on the house. All of the balance the burger might have been lacking was present in these bites. But the star of the entire show was clear: the Manjari. This was one of the 3-5 best desserts I have had all year. It's a chocolate mousse filled with vanilla crème Brûlée, dark chocolate brownie, and accompanied by salted caramel as well as salted caramel ice cream. On paper, it sounds like too much. It sounds overwhelming for someone who doesn't eat a lot of sweets anymore, and especially very little chocolate. Throw away the paper - every bite was near perfection. Even if you don't want the whole thing, that salted caramel ice cream was special in a way that I didn't expect. I still have a lot of questions about The Conche but I think it's fair to say that they are a chocolateria first. Looking at it through that lens, I can't go any lower than four stars.

This is a 10 star place. Staff is very friendly, it felt like we were dining at a family event vs a restaurant. Carolina our server was amazing, Bishan (sp?) the manager was very attentive and approachable, the bartender Zuleica (sp?) made fantastic drinks. I recommend the espresso Negroni, not on the menu but ask Bishan for the Galileo Negroni, trust me. Next you have to try the burger, I knew at first bite it was by far the best burger I've ever tried. The bacon wrapped tenderloin was cooked to perfection, the short rib pasta was to die for. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be coming back for sure. The chocolate desserts were also amazing fyi. You just have to try this place....

You don’t need to request in advance, it’s available every day. Thank you

Is there any outdoor seating available?

Yes they have tables outdoors where your dog can join you.

Hello! Do you have to call in advance for the tasting menus or are they always available when you dine in for dinner?

You have to request the tasting menus 24 hours in advance.

Hi! When you come for Sunday brunch, is there a lunch menu available as well? What is that menu, if it's offered?

I don't recall. I know there was a menu but I'm pretty sure it was a brunch, not lunch, menu. It was excellent anyway.

Is there anything on the current menu that is vegan, besides the cauliflower appetizer? Any entrees? Thank you!

Sunday 10:30-2:00 is brunch menu only but there are several items on the brunch menu that are also offered as regular lunch items.

I was just looking for some good coffee one morning when I saw a little hole in the wall and realized it's a little coffee shop! I've gotten an iced coffee there, and a matcha the next two times. Both are great. The baristas are all really nice and will very likely be able to make you something if you wanna tweak an item on the menu a bit. And, most importantly, their matcha is the real deal. It's not the bitter and awful cheap stuff that most cafes will sell to you for the same price. This is the good stuff, and you can tell they make any syrup they add to it in house. It's so refreshing. If you love coffee, and especially matcha, this place is it!

Literally the worst service we have ever had…read more We had family in town and had never been here before. We were seated in the closed off dining area, to the right of the hostess desk. It took 10 mins for anyone to come see us. I had to get up to ask for someone to get our orders. To boot, the person who was supposed to assist us, was in the back hall by the restrooms texting and hanging out. I assume no one told her that we were there. The cider I ordered was warm, so I had to ask for a cup of ice at the bar. My husband's burger was meant to be medium well and it was raw. Lastly, it's extremely loud in that room. The chairs are metal, and when drug against the flooring, they make an awful sound! They really need a form of rubber on the legs. Very hard for grandma, who has hearing aids. Poor thing was so uncomfortable. The room next to us, with a door leading to the window to the kitchen, was so incredibly annoying. They were pounding the entire time we were seated, and it was LOUD! We all just sat completely silent. This was an incredibly disappointing visit and we will not come back.

I rate restaurants within their category and concept. I am not comparing a pasta tasting menu spot…read moreto a Michelin star fine dining restaurant. If a place executes its vision at a high level and exceeds expectations for its lane, that is a 5 star experience to me. And this meal absolutely did that. We relocated to Northern Virginia a couple of years ago, so we have been exploring the dining scene here with fresh eyes. Since moving, we have visited The Wine Kitchen several times, and each visit has been consistently impressive. They are truly a gem in Leesburg. We went with the pasta tasting menu and it was an outstanding, technique driven progression that really showcased the kitchen's command of fresh pasta and sauce work. The pasta itself was the foundation of the experience, clearly house made, with impeccable texture across every course. Each shape was cooked to a true al dente, with that ideal balance of tenderness and bite that only comes from properly handled fresh dough. Nothing felt heavy or muddled, which is no small feat in a multi course pasta progression. The mushroom tortellini in brodo was beautifully restrained. The broth had deep umami from the mushroom parmesan base, yet remained clean and structured, allowing the delicate tortellini filling and chestnut mushrooms to shine. The truffled Alfredo could have easily gone overboard, but the richness was controlled, silky, properly emulsified, and well seasoned, with the truffle supporting rather than overwhelming the dish. The lobster ravioli was another technically strong plate. The pasta was thin and tender, the filling sweet and delicate, and the crab fat sauce added depth while the ginger Calabrian soffritto brought a subtle lift of heat and brightness that kept the dish from feeling too rich. The short rib rotolo delivered deep, slow cooked savoriness, balanced nicely by the ricotta and the earthy luxury of the truffle fonduta. What really made the dish stand out for me were the crispy edges on the pasta, which added a beautiful textural contrast to the tender filling. For dessert, we enjoyed the tasting menu dessert and also added the cornflake French toast. The French toast completely wowed us. Texturally, it was outstanding, crisp exterior, custardy interior, and that nostalgic cornflake crunch elevated into something refined. It had richness, sweetness, and contrast in all the right ways, and ended up being my favorite of the two desserts. Overall, this is how you do a pasta focused tasting menu with finesse, strong technique, thoughtful balance, and flavors that feel indulgent without becoming heavy. In its category, this was a 5 star experience for me, and I would absolutely come back.
