One of my favorite places to get lost in while I mentally satisfied my OCD. Employees don't approach to offer assistance as I found myself having to hunt help down. Not much more of welcoming vibes at the register, I felt a sense of customers being rushed through checkout. The store is in tip-top shape with various islands offering discounted merchandise & sale items. I don't recall seasonal themes during my shopping at the Buckhead location, yet it's evident here the holidays are amongst us. I wanted to get a nice sturdy clear container with an airtight seal, and couldn't find exactly what I wanted from Walmart or Target. I'm the hands on, gotta-see-it, gotta-touch-it type of shopper when I want to buy something I'm not familiar with. I live really close to this Container Store, so I decided to give it a try and see what they had to offer. Every customer and employee in the store I saw wore facemasks. There were a few aisles where it was a little too crowded with people, so I just went to the next aisle. I'm actually impressed by The Container Store! They stock a wide variety of merchandise that helps everybody be organized - shelving, containers of all sizes and materials, bags, hangers - anything and just about everything! In addition they stock many other things, such as kitchen tools and utensils, luggage and other useful travel items, shipping and moving items and many, many other items. Go check this store out! I found the item I wanted after an employee helped me locate it. At the time, I was just wandering aimlessly, gawking at everything on the shelves. I happened to be walking down an aisle where a very sweaty employee was hard at work quickly restocking large stacked plastic containers. In spite of being busy, he stopped to look at me and ask if I needed help finding anything. I described to the employee what I was looking for, and he said, "Follow me. I think I know what you're looking for." He led me through the store and pointed to containers on the shelf. "Is this what you're looking for?" I told him that I was looking for something very much like that but I was looking for something just a little bigger. He then showed me the container that I was looking for three shelves over. I thanked him as he hurried back to his task. I have to admit, this place impressed me with the variety of items they have. I liked that the employee was very helpful. I have given this location two tries once zero service as a flustered lady at the front who appears to be in charge couldn't multi task anything . I ended up waiting 12 minutes for a return for her to finally call a lady from the back to come help and she came up stood at the computer for 3 minutes asked what I needed then said oh a return and walked back tk the back of the store as the lady running the registered just said oh great. I left , then I needed to place an order for pick up , I came back as I was near the location and thought maybe they were just understaffed. I placed the order in the Alpha section with no problem whatsoever that went very smoothly and I was told that I would be emailed when it arrived. They asked my email and I spelt it for them and they incorrectly got my email so I was never emailed that my order was ready. I did receive a text message that my order was on its way. Yesterday I called and confirm my order was ready for pick up and I received a text message this morning stating my order was ready for pick up. When I came in the same lady who was at the first interaction at the register and is not a multitasker asked could she help me as I parked in the order pick up area. I said I have an order for pick up. She asked was I emailed I explained to her you guys put my email in incorrectly, but I was text messaged and I did call yesterday to verify this. She seemed very upset at my manner of how I verified this I guess or the fact that I cannot produce an email. She then said I guess I will have to try to look it up. I stated I have a text message that said my order is waiting for me and I also called yesterday. She went to her computer and was able to look it up and told me yes your order is ready, but you did not get an email, I explained you guys have my email with an E and there is no E in my name. I said this every time I've been here every time you guys have told me it's been changed at various stores and it never has needless to say I love the container store. I'm a huge fan of their products, but this location cannot be one that I go to again. read more

Ahhh. Container Store. A store dedicated to organizing throughout your home or office. Never bothered to stop in because I'm like "gee I can get the same stuff at Walmart or Target down the street". Well a while back during pandemic peak, curbside pick up was available. Got curious and ordered stuff that was on sale. Very easy to use. Since stores started to open up again, I can't get enough. Love the friendly customer service. Love that it's not too huge but has enough to satisfy. Look out for sales because to be honest, quite a bit is overpriced to me. Other than that, if top notch service is desired, come here. read more

I had to make a return here today of an item that was shipped to me, it was damaged when I opened the package. It was the easiest return ever!! A+ Of course...I had to shop around! I found some very cool organizers & right now they have $20 off a $100 purchase! Awesome! I ended up finding some Christmas gifts! Way cool! And they have beautiful Christmas wrapping & tags, some fun & some classy. I just LOVE this store! They have very pleasant employees, especially Sadarhi! I probably misspelled her name but she did a FANTASTIC job of helping me! The one teensy downfall was before she helped me I found it difficult to find someone who had time to help me. I'm goin' 3 stars. This place should be a Virgo's dream. I, being said Virgo. And it almost is.. but it's like one of those dreams where you like, see something you want.. and you reach for it.. but it keeps getting pulled away from you.. OR you reach for it and you just see the price tag and it turns into a nightmare. Okay maybe I'm being a little hard on them. I really, really like the stuff they have and the variety of options, but it is way too expensive for me to justify buying MOST of the things in there. For example, I went to another organizationally-focused, needful-things type of furniture and accessories store.. (::cough:: blue and yellow ::cough::) and found this little maybe 2-3 foot tall filing cabinet type thing. It came in three colors, and it had like 3-4 mid sized drawers. It was about $40. I wasn't deadset on it so I didn't buy it. I came here to Container Store and found something almost the same to the naked, untrained eye (only difference is drawer size,) and it is over $100. I am serious. Then they've got a "3 case storage chest" for $59. That looks like the scrapbook paper storage you find at Michaels Arts and Crafts for $ 20. Maybe I am cheap but I am telling you these things are a bit overpriced. I have been in the store a handful of times but rarely buy anything. Worth checking out still if you have the money to pay someone to design your closet storage on a computer or put a magnetic, customizable wall organization on above your desk...or just need something super specific and odd. So check it out but don't suffer from buyers remorse! read more

Oh, Container Store, I love and loathe you... This location is not one bit convenient for me to get to, but since their shipping takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R, I sometimes end up coming in when I need something with reasonable turnaround time. *Heads up, if you shop online, The Container Store does not pay return shipping even for their mistakes/damaged items, so you might have to go to the store in order to make returns or exchanges for their errors.* I can't describe any of the employees here as rude, but they are so absorbed in stocking and organizing that you have to hunt them down for assistance. And the assistance is usually pretty grudgingly given at that. Checkout lines are long and un-busy employees stand and watch rather than jump in to assist. The biggest disappointment is the stock. They are commonly out of high volume staple items like the multi-purpose bins and Elfa parts. Since this is a 35 mile drive from my house, it would be nice to be able to get all the basic items I need in one trip. read more

I don't think I've ever walked out of this store or one of its other locations without a cart full of neat stuff to organize my life, my stuff, or my other organizing tools. haha! Their Clearance Corner is a gold mine of savings on discontinued or slightly nicked items. Check it out (but leave some of the good stuff for me)! The staff are above par when it comes to retail service. Professional on a level of flight attendants. Smarts, savvy, and helpfulness that make you feel you're a VIP. Patient, friendly, and efficient. The store is laid out logically. Everything is clean. Prices are well-marked. And they carry bulk items to your car. I love Container Stores, I'm not afraid to admit it. Even though as soon as I enter, I feel like my already neat and organized living spaces are barely up to par, seeing all the hangers, clear glass containers, attractive boxes in every shape, size, color, texture, material and opacity, Elfa shelves and organizers, trash cans, storage tubs, wall hangers, shoe racks, laundry bins, steamer trunks (because who doesn't still use one of those?), and everything else I never knew I needed to stay organized, but obviously can't live without. It's an organizer's dream. Truly. Of course, everything comes with a price, but if you desperately need to get your life in order (or just can't live without that adorable desk-sized trash can that looks like an apple, or those sliding shelves), this store is excellent. Staff are typically very friendly and helpful, and they have special nights each summer for kids preparing to go to camp or college when they offer special store-wide discounts and check lists for basics they'll need. I'm a fan, and if I had more money, a larger apartment and unlimited time, Container Store would be outfitting the whole thing to keep me up to my eyeballs in organization. read more

It offers good ideas for organizing and storage, I was kind of hoping that walking through here would inspire me to clean up the basement.... I think i need to walk through a few more time ;). I came here specifically looking for a variety of Christmas gift wrapping materials, and was extremely pleased with the selection and service. I've struggled in past years to find really good quality wrapping material, gift boxes and gift bags, and was so glad I found the Container Store this year, because I got some really good wrapping materials that help make my gifts look a little nicer. Of course they sell a lot of other container type items, but I didn't look at those and can't comment on them. The gift wrapping materials were all in a big section in the center of the store The store is well laid out and it's really easy to find things. They had a lot of staff on the floor who were very helpful. In particular, one sales person found me looking at some gift boxes for food items and suggested I look in another area. Sure enough, in the area she directed me to, I found just the perfect box. What a great store, I have shopped them for years. Today I am only writing about my recent visit, which is like all of my visits...great! The staff is helpful and plentiful but I would suggest using the online ordering service during peak season if you know what you want. The store is full of unique storage items with flare. A box is just a box until you purchase the cool plastic one with the blue, green and brown swirls from here. If you are looking at a messy whatever and know there must be something that can put it into order, this is your store. If you are just looking for something cheap to toss some items into and put a lid on it I would suggest a different store. Cheap they are not but great quality and a unique spin on the everyday they excel. Wow, it is difficult to go into this store and not want to buy everything. If you love to stay organized then you have found the right place. They have organizational items for the kitchen, bedroom, garage and just about any other area that you need to address. Employees are very accessible and knowledgeable about the store's products. It is large, open and well organized. My only problem is that I have a tendency to wander over to the closets and peruse the clothing. I forget that they are not for sale and only props. I did this twice on my last visit and just couldn't help myself. Some habits are just hard to break. read more

If you need some sort of container then as the name says this is the place to come. They have a wide variety of items that should encompass most of your needs. Everything seems to be of a good quality and the place is fairly well laid out and easy to navigate. The issue I have with the store is you are going to pay for the convenience of shopping here. When I say pay I noticed that on an item like a flip top bottle they are over twice the price I would pay going to a brew store. So in all if you just want to stop one place and are willing to pay the premium they will do fine otherwise they do have items you wont find easily elsewhere and is worth the trip for those items. read more

My tiny closets are chock full of Elfa products, however those products stop about 3 feet off the ground leaving lots of useless space in the lower portions of my closet. A friend mentioned the annual 30% Elfa sale on his facebook page so I decided to run over and see about fixing up that empty hole. The store was busy when I walked in during a weekday at lunch. I wandered around looking for someone who could help me. When I finally found said woman she told me that if I needed help with planning I would need to make an appointment. The problem is that even if you don't need help with planning, you know what you want, it is hard as hell to find the exact pieces to use... like I gave up on my dream of having slide out shelves because I couldn't find the brackets and baskets the shelving sits in. CRAP! Oh well, I randomly picked up some items that I thought would fit together properly, paid, and left. The friendly sales people, the colorful displays- oh it's spectacular. Even though I don't always buy something when I go (they are a little pricey...), I still take the trip all the way out to Perimeter just to glance at what's available. True to the name, the store is a storage mecca. While some of the items are pricey, smart choices had me content with what I spent for the quality of my purchases on a budget. Something about the store made me think of Ikea, and I will still default there for storage solutions, it's nice to know that there is another option along that line (on a smaller scale!) that doesn't quite require the longer drive to Atlantic Station. read more
