12/04/25 First time to this location and since today was National Cookie Day, I wanted to indulge. They are located in the Windward mall at the food court on the 1st floor. They carry a small assortment of cookies in the display case and in different sized boxes. I like their cookies because they are on the crunchy side, not soft. I was looking for something wtih macadamia nuts and the only ones they had were were with chocolate chips. I was disappointed that they did not have any white chocolate macadamia nut ones. I opted for a small container of mini chocolate chip macadamia nut ones which ran about $7. I was helped by a young girl who at first didn't seem friendly because she wasn't smiling but once I told her I couldn't make up my mind, she smiled, was nice, and answered my questions. The cookies were ono with just enough crunch. The container had 16 small cookies, more in there than I thought. The Cookie Corner always makes delicious cookies. This cookie corner is located in the heart of Windward mall, next to Starbucks. My usual order is the red cup of mini chocolate chip cookies or the mix of mini cookies because I like the dark chocolate cookies with walnuts too. The oatmeal raisin ones are good, but not as good as the other two. I've gotten the regular chocolate chip or dark chocolate cookies before, but the normal size ones make them a little soft. I like the crunchiness of the mini cookies. On my most recent visit, I got tried the seasonal snickerdoodle cookie and the chocolate with cherry cookie. Both were delicious. I don't think I've ever tasted any bad cookies from this place. The workers are children, but they try their best. They're not the best at customer service, and putting cookies on a counter isn't that hard. But it is what it is. They have kind of cute things for Christmas, but prices have definitely increased over the years. Stars deducted as the staff are not always professional or customer-focused and I noticed that the staff member who grabbed my cookies for me this past week wore the SAME gloves for all her orders so my cookies were wrapped in a bag that had chocolate chip smears all on the outside. I had to ask them for another bag. It was very messy and wouldve been a disaster had I not noticed that and threw my cookies in my purse. The Cookie Corner is my favorite place to get their plastic cup of mini chocolate chip cookies, ever, unless it's my mom's. When the corona virus forced Windward Mall to close I went to buy a cup and it was a surprisingly poignant moment. I remembered all the times I bought omiyage over the years for my visits back home to Sweden between 2002 and 2014. I truly hope they reopen in Kaneohe after the Covd19 pandemic and urge people to continue to buy from them. The packaging is simple and attractive, the taste of the snickerdoodle the reeses pb the mac white chocolate, the lilikoi, the shortbread dipped in chocolate, are all winnahs. The staff is friendly and keeps the line moving, they are very professional kids and they're working hard. There is one guy who is very attentive and friendly all the time. By the way, people complaining on YELP about customer service should remember these kids are getting paid minimum wage. The smell of the fresh baked cookies are intoxicating, especially when you're at the mall and you get a whiff of it. I prefer my cookies crunchy. Keep the chewy ones far, far, away. That's why I always buy the bite size cookies that come in a cup. They're crunchy. The big cookies tend to be on the softer side. The only ones I get are the chocolate chip and walnut. I used to get the chocolate chip and mac nut, but they did away with it. I guess mac nuts costs too much. They have combo deals. A small cookie cup with a 22 oz. drink for $5.99 and a large cookie cup with a 32 oz. drink for $7.99. The cookie cups by themselves are $5.00 for the small and $7.25 for the large. (I either get just one for me or sometimes 2) If my son & other half is around I'll get them a treat too! Their cookies are so good!! Sunday little after 2pm, this is Black Friday weekend, so understandable lots of people around. But the clerk there packed and tossed the cookie bag on the counter (toss means here is through on the counter) should be nicer than this. There are lots of people want to work and try to do better/ sharing happiness through work. No Smile, No greeting, no saying thank you.... All of these are normal social skills to communicate with people. He didn't speak at all to your customer and keep talking something else to other workers about them watching?? I don't mind if you folks are having great time that's nice place to step in and purchase something but this boy seems don't want to be there... And the mini cookies are crispy perfectly flavored. They're perfect for small hands like those on my boys (who would eat the entire cup if I let them). You can buy one or as many as you want. They are the perfect treat to share or to even buy for yourself when you are craving something sweet. But the people who are behind the counter are so hit or miss. So are so kind and wave and smile at my boys and others are so rude and serve our cookies with the feeling of doing us a major favor. Fix the tude and I'd happily raise the stars to a 4. I don't care what anyone says. These cookies are my favorite here at home. It's the closest I'll get to Levain in NYC because of the crunchy outside and soft, fluffy inside. We sat nearby and waited for our daughter in law to get out from work at a nearby store and while we were waiting, one of the employees came out and gave me two free cookies. Sometimes I do come across my favorite cookie not being there, but I end up getting the cup with all the little cookies instead (: The Oatmeal Raisin is always nice and soft on the inside.
