My first time visiting the Farmer's Market. I was intrigued by the cookies especially for $4 each! I figured 2 cookies would be good. I got the German Chocolate and Ghirardelli cookie. I would have chosen Oatmeal Chocolate Chip or Lemon (they had lemonade cookie with icing). Lemonade may have been too tart or overdone with the icing. The Ghirardelli was soft and breakable. The German chocolate was chewy and hints was coconut. I don't have any food allergies that I know of but some people may. No mention of allergies warnings on table or cookie covers. Cash, card, mobile payments accepted. Vendor was quick and did say I chose 2 of his favorites. read more

If you get their cookie when it's fresh, it's great. But lately every time I've been at their stand at the farmers market, it's not been fresh. Don't bother even asking if it's fresh because they always say yes, but after one bite you can tell it's not. I'd try their store front and not the farmers booth to see if it yields different results. read more

I came here for a crochet class and the class came with 2 cookies. I chose the caramel butterscotch and snickerdoodle. My favorite was the caramel butterscotch. So much so that I finished the whole thing while there and seriously considered getting another 1 or 2 to take home. I will definitely be returning for that butterscotch cookie! read more

We stopped at their booth in the Raleigh farmers market and tried the Reese's cookie, and for the price and flavor, I really think it rivals crumbl!!! It's a good cookie for under $4, so that alone deserves 4 stars in my opinion. I'm giving it an extra star for the flavor choices. I HAVE to try lemonade cookie next time. It looked so good!!! We stopped by their booth at the State Farmers market and was wowed by the selection they had! They had a Mexican Hot Chocolate (spicy) cookie and I had to try it. It tasted just like hot chocolate but with a bit of a kick. The cookie itself wasn't spicy it just has cayenne in the mix so it gives a punch at the end. Absolutely delicious cookies! Food Truck Time: The Cookie People at Cary's Downtown Chowdown The variety of cookies that this food truck offered was a good selection. I tried the butterscotch caramel and it was just okay, I would pick a different one next time. You can order 1 cookie for $2.50 or 5 for $10. 1/27/19: DELICIOUS!!! Can't believe we just spent $20 on cookies, but they were worth it. They are HUGE cookies, and they have many flavors to choose from. We got Ghirardelli, lemonade, chocolate chip, sugar, snickerdoodle, chocolate peanut butter cup, and butterscotch caramel. Haven't tasted them all yet, but the ones we have tried are AMAZING!!! These are the absolute best cookies I've had (so glad my mom is not on Yelp lol) they always are great. The staff both at the farmers market am at the store near nc state are terrific and super friendly. Cookies worth every penny. Wow these cookies are incredibly soft and delicious. I bought 2 (one for me and one for my fiancé). I ended up eating them both (whoops). I must have been hungry since I ate them so fast I forgot to take a picture. I purchased the cookies at the Raleigh Farmer's Market. There was no line and the lady working the booth was friendly and patient. After perusing all the options, I decided on the Mexican chocolate and molasses cookie (I think that is what they are called. I forgot the names after like 5 minutes). I like how they display the cookies under glass coverings. That way you can see what the cookies look like while also keeping them covered. The cookies cost $2.50 each or 5 for $10. A little pricy yes, but worth it for the occasional treat. Plus they are large and filling. I have not tried out their food truck, but I would recommend their booth at the Farmer's Market! read more

Good quality cookie. I got the Triple Chocolate, Mexican Hot Chocolate and Molasses. My favorite was Triple Chocolate which is soft with big chunks of yummy chocolate chips. Mexican chocolate was interesting as it has cayenne pepper in it and ends with a spice kick. Molasses was my least favorite. read more

These folks are the definition of small business - marital couple churning out a magnificent product from their home kitchen... These cookies are worthy of conveyor belt production, or at least local market distribution. I tried 8 varieties: Chocolate Chip, Triple Chocolate, Oatmeal Golden Raisin, Molasses Crinkle, Peanut Butter, Sugar Cookie, Mexican Chocolate, & Lemonade. Each was fantastically perfect in moisture & flavor. My suggestions is to up your marketing & distribution, Cookie People: sesame st. logo, website, product packaging, etc. The cookies are so moist they crumbled in the paper bag & the logo/site are elementary -- but then again, who is a cookie's target consumer: the same folks watching sesame street : ) Load up on your next farmer's market trip. read more

Very disappointed with my service here. I was crossed between two cookies. The person who helped me was nice enough, but it was just bad service. I got excited about a cookie because it had M&Ms in it. I told her this. She sold me on that one, and offered to give me the other one on the house. I told her that was very kind but I was excited about what I got. When I got my cookie, there was no M&Ms in it at all. Not one. I brought it back, and told her that I was upset that there was no M&Ms in it. And then I would take the other one I wanted. She swiped my card over and over and over again and charged me for both cookies. I just think that's inappropriate, bad service. And the cookies were just OK. At the very least, I should've got a replacement cookie with M&Ms in it, or the one she originally offered for free, for free because the other one was wrong. read more

I discovered the Cookie People on NCSU's campus during their Wednesday farmer's market. They offered a good deal - five cookies for five bucks. The cookies are large, have a variety of flavors, and are all tasty. I've also seen them at the Raleigh farmer's market. They make for a great treat because they don't taste really fatty and they always have new flavors on hand.They used to update their facebook page frequently but haven't in awhile. read more

Holy Smokes...as close to a Jersey Shore Bakery cookie as I can find in Raleigh ! The young lady helping me was as nice as she could be and sold my Lady Friend on the Triple Chocolate. My favorite was the Molasses with the Peanut Butter a close second. 5 Stars would be a brick & mortar in North Raleigh. Not to be missed ! read more
