Let me just say, I was blown away. Clarksville is a little town and I certainly didn't expect to have a meal of this caliber. My wife and I came up to take our son out to dinner who is a student at NGTC. The food was simply amazing. I had the grits and chicken fingers. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I wanted to lick the bowl. Comfort food on a different level. My wife ordered their berry sangria and it was pretty swinging too. Actually ordered a second, not a good idea if you plan on driving because they were stout. I also love the Goonies theme running through the menu. Gotta give it to you guys, I love that movie. I could not find a particular restaurant in Clarksville last month, so I came here and I was more than pleased. I have been pleasantly pleased each time I have been back. I stretch giving this one star. My first visit there was memorable. The pizza was well cooked and very tasty. The Greek salad was comparable to most I've had anywhere. However on my second and third return, I had the same order as the first time and the manager argued with me regarding the preparation of it it was terrible! Amazingly enough I attempted a third visit. At least half the house was empty and they told me it was a 30 minute wait. Needless to say I left and will not be back! read more

RUDE. so rude. The manager and hostess were beyond unwelcoming, cold, and disheartening. We walk in at 8:35 and they have another 10 tables sat, some still with menus and we're basically told to hit the road, i understand "short staffed" but that has nothing to do with 3 more people to a full dining room a half hour before they start close, that's just poor hospitality and laziness. Furthermore, after staring at us awkwardly for 2 minutes they said I GUESS we could maybe get you ONE TOGO PIZZA "ONLY IF u know what you want RIGHT this second" keep in mind it's not even close to closing yet. THEN when we randomly pick one we ask if we could sit and wait for it to be done and they refused to let us sit and had us just awkwardly standing in the front of the restaurant while we wait. Not recommending to anyone from here on out. Whoever the owners of this establishment are should be embarrassed and strongly reconsider the staffing your FOH. Sending a burnt pizza home with your guests tells me that you either don't know how to prepare food well or you do know, but you just don't care. And if I have to choose between incompetence and apathy to describe a restaurant, it is time to choose another place to eat. Let me start by saying that the pizza was delicious! However, yelp is about rating the whole experience, and unfortunately the service was not great. If I were only rating the pizza, I'd give it 4 or 5 stars. It was a Friday night and plenty of tables available, but we had a 20 minute wait... we think it was a shortage of servers or chefs, but we're not sure. The service was mediocre at best... She didn't come around to refill our drinks at all, she only brought 3 plates for a table with 4 people, she brought the checks out and started bussing the tables way too early and she tried to take my plate while I was still eating, and the food took a while to come out. Came here on a Saturday afternoon while on vacation with husband. My husband loves beers on tap but he didn't know the ones they had and the waitress graciously offered him free samples so he could choose which one he wanted. He got the Sam Adams and loved it. Now I hate beers but love a good cider and she recommended a mckenzies black cherry cider and it was AWESOME! The dry rubbed wings were so flavorful and the wings were a good size. We split the Cesar salad which was crisp and yummy. The dressing was homemade and yummy but a bit too fish-tasting for me....still edible though. My husband is a simple man and got a personal pepperoni and cheese pizza which was an excellent choice. The service was fast, friendly without being overbearing. The food was good but the service was quite sad. One of the staff, I kid you not, delivered a pizza to the table next to us with a big "I hate my job" sigh. My wife never got a single refill on her tea. And my salad arrived at the same time as another person brought my steak. Considering how long our orders took to arrive, it would be nice to have my salad, or at least some bread to tide us over. The kitchen is to be commended as my wife found her salad with Strawberry Ranch and chicken flavorful. My hand-cut Ribeye was good and the french fries were perfectly crisp and delicious. The presentation was excellent, although I didn't partake of the whipped garlic butter garnish as the steak needed no compliments. We saw other patrons being served delicious looking pizzas and I would definitely like to try one of those next time. We also learned not to use their parking lot, which is at the back of the building with an entrance that meanders past their compost pile, cleaning buckets, and other unattractive features. While dining on the large patio we could see a lot across the street that would be much more pleasant and wouldn't be so cramped and difficult to navigate. read more

In this kind of weather (70's-80's) we love any restaurants we can sit outdoors at. We liked the atmosphere, inside and out, but sitting outside was really nice. I had the salad special (a caprese salad with balsamic reduction) and my husband had the strawberry salad with balsamic, which he said was very good. We split the seafood platter which had a nice size serving of salmon, crab cakes, and fried oysters and a side of grits and fried corn on the cob. The sauces they use were really good too. We did feel like the half salads ($7) and the extra side of grits ($4) were a little high. But the seafood platter was reasonable ($20). Our service was just ok - nothing too memorable. We would go back, I think they are really known more for their pizzas - so we might try them sometime. read more

I lived in Clarkesville for a year and ate at this place a couple times a week. I miss it already! Everything is incredible, but some of my favorites were the greek salad, copper pot pizza, fancy pants pizza, crab cakes, pizza frita, and their specials. They have a great wine list and beer selection and will have their liquor license in June. The servers are excellent and very attentive. There is an excellent patio for outdoor dining. Live music on Thursdays is always great! read more

Seriously one of my favorite places to eat in Clarkesville! The Cordon Bleu pizza is to die for. Wonderful flavors, crisp flat bread pizza, and fresh ingredients. On their dinner menu, they have a Grilled Salmon with bacon (yes,bacon) vinaigrette. Oh my GOODNESS, you are delicious. They try new and almost unique flavors and make wonderful dishes. Mike, the head bartender (or I think he was, he acted like he was..), can mix a darn good drink. You can tell he cares for his job and has passion to bring interesting drinks to the customer. I rate the food and drink 5 stars. Now... saying that, the service is awful. I think they just hire anyone who applies. It wasn't this bad last year. Took 15 minutes to get my glass of Riesling... after the waitress brought me Pinot Grigo. Awkward. She just didn't seem to care. Ordered my food, didn't check on me or even recommend anything. I ordered some dessert, a local artisan gelato, only for her to forget about it. When I asked for my gelato, 30 minutes later, she remembered that they "ran out". Really? First time we dine here and we were quite disappointed with the service. When we placed our order we specifically asked for our soups to be brought out after the salads and before the main course and to be hot. We waited and waited finally l got up from our table to find our waitress to tell her to bring the soups and I also ordered another cocktail. The soups finally arrived one was ice cold. After complaining soup was brought back out. I never received my cocktail, had to go get our waitress who was sitting at the bar socializing to ask for desserts. She never refilled our waters and had a bad attitude. Hopefully she was having a bad night but I don't think I will return. Food was ok. read more

We went for lunch after a hike at nearby Tallulah Gorge state park, so we had built up quite an appetite!! We trusted our fellow yelpers and went and are glld we did. Lovely decor, great menu, solid crab cakes, and STELLAR noodles caprese consisting of pasta with roasted tomatoes, basil & fresh mozzarella all blended to perfection with lots of olive oil. Our 12 yr old daughter LOVED the alfredo sauce, even though it was very garlicky; it was rich but not too rich. Our son adored the kids meatballs & tomato sauce, which was HUGE for a kid and excellent, meatballs hinted of fennel. The caesar dressing was eh, sort of thick and only slight anchovy hint. And there are no whole wheat pastas or whole wheat bread options, which for the wife is an issues-- thus the 4 not five stars. We didn't have time for desert but are eager to go back. It seems to be a happening town place with music and other events listed on a big blackboard. The patio was lovely as the weather was mild, but the main dininggroom is large if you are not into that. Excellent fast & friendly service. Nice to kids too. We would return if we were nearby and wanted to drop some $. We did lunch for 4 for around 50, so that sa bit steep, but it was very good food AND we were headed home and happened to have a freezer bag in the trunk, so made it more reasonable that we had leftovers enough for 2 lunches. read more
