I usually go to the one in Moorpark but I happened to be in Simi. My first time here the gentleman was very kind and let us know it was be a few minutes. Since he had a long order and was working alone. We let him know it was okay. He worked as fast as he could to bring out the food. It tasted just the same as the one in Moorpark. Nice looking place. Inside is very clean. Spacious even with the seating. It seems like a new place so maybe they're planning to do something else with the space? They also had a giant Jenga set. Maybe they'll be adding more games. There are a lot of items, though it did feel more like a fruit drink type place. Thats probably because so many of the milk teas are blueberry and strawberry based. There are quite a few chocolate based milk teas too. I opted for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was a bit too sweet for me. But I do prefer less sweet so it might be good for others. Flavor was ok. The two young ladies working were nice and the service was fast. Taiwanese boba tea made Latinx style? Yep, this is what we expect in LA, the great melting pot experiment. My mango chamoy smoothie tasted exactly as I expected, and it was refreshing and fruity. The chamoy complements so well with the fruity base of the smoothie, and the drink wasn't too sweet. I didn't order any boba in mine because I just had a dental extraction and I couldn't drink through a straw for four days. I am curious whether they get the consistency of the boba right like a traditional Taiwanese cafe. It wasn't busy when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, and there was only one staff visible. She took our order and made the drinks immediately. I don't know whether she'll get any backup if there's a line. Well this used to be my favorite boba place in town and would definitely fix my cravings but after todays experience I'm not sure if I'll be back. I walked in with my twin babies in their stroller and the entire place reeked of marijuana and the guy working was clearly stoned and finishing his hit so he took awhile to greet me. Another girl came rushing in to help and she actually made my drink. I also was astonished how big of a jump the prices went to! $7 for a small?! And they used to be thicker with more ice and less powder so less sweet cuz it was so sweet and runny I couldn't really drink it. So my babies contact a contact high all for a terrible drink. I dislike sugary beverages so I opted to get something that didn't sound so sweet and loved it. This spot is my classmates' post conference we all agreed that they were delicious and not too sweet nor bland, just perfect. The boba is chewy and although it sounds weird, it tasted good in the mangonada. My go to is definitely the mint choc chip and when I want a treat the fresas con crema crepe. Bobas cuz finally brings boba to the west side of Simi. Conveniently located next to the old Edward's theater (RIP). Family run establishment with great service. Expect to pay about 2 bucks more than the other spot in Simi. They do offer a discount if you pay cash which is nice. They also do offer small snacks such as nachos and other things. Would come again to try that out. I really hope the old movie theater turns into something so they can get more foot traffic. read more

This new boba spot is super yummy! We only tried their fruity, water-based drinks and they were delicious on a hot November day in SoCal! I could taste and see the real fresh fruit they used. I can be picky about my boba pearls and they were just the right texture. My bf tried the flaming hot nachos and he really liked the spicy nacho cheese they used. First impression was from the music playing inside, an upbeat Latin pop & reggaeton playlist :) Not only do they have a great menu with many options, they clearly identify ones without dairy! They also serve crepes... the strawberry Nutella one was good (classic combination). Nachos we tried were basic, but they do have a flaming hot version. Location is not the greatest since the movie theater next door closed down... much less foot traffic so hopefully this business can still hang around. The first 3 times I went here I was not impressed...employees didn't know what they were doing and had to call manager and were being taught how to make the drink over phone in front of us.
