Enjoyed a Saturday dinner with friends, and luckily we were seated immediately (party of 4). The place got super busy super quickly so I definitely recommend reservations. The staff are friendly and great with recommendations. The food is fantastic and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. I loved my Spaghetti Amatriciana! It's hard to find guanciale in stores so this was a real treat. They have plenty of appetizers, pastas, pizzas, veggie and gluten free options. They also have a kids menu and a lovely cocktail selection. We ordered virgin drinks and enjoyed them very much. This was my second time here. The first time was a few months ago when our work hosted a big appreciation dinner. Went here for a birthday! We love the singing waiters so much, it's such a good time. Food was good, our table got the spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti bolognese, fettuccine alfredo, and a seafood dish. My favorite of the night was the classic spaghetti. We also got the berry pannacotta which was good, I hadn't tried pannacotta before so that was a fun thing to try. And some limoncello to end the night, which was delicious and quite strong! I will say I do much prefer the sister location in south park to this one. Nothing went wrong, I think the south park location just does everything SO right and perfect, that coming to this one after was a little disappointing. To be clear nothing was bad. I have been here twice and have not been impressed either time. The food is over priced and always cold when it arrives. Nothing special or exceptional. The food is average and nothing out of the ordinary. The service is mixed. The head server has a lot of attitude. He had some issues about the reservation being made and cancelled but the restaurant was empty. The staff here always acts like they are doing you a favor by serving you. As stated, the restaurant was empty when we went but we were barely attended too. The dirty plates from our meal were piled up and never cleaned up. We got refills until a certain point and then no soda refills. Someone in our party had to find and serve themselves water. Saturday afternoon after a little trip to the nearby store we decided to stop by for a late lunch. The gentleman we were greeted by helped get us seated and took our orders. We ordered the Caesar salad, calamari, pesto fusilli, and seafood squid ink pasta to share. We also received a heaping portion of bread. Everything came out piping hot(just the way I like it) with the exception of salad of course. I liked that the calamari was battered very lightly and very crispy. Nice place! Came here for my birthday dinner and we left happy! Food was great! The complimentary bread was delicious and the dipping oil that came with it was flavorful. The calamari was also really good, it also had shrimp and zucchini with it as well as it was phenomenal. Our entrees were also winners, my dad really enjoyed the lasagna and my squid ink pasta was great as well. The pasta was perfect and flavorful and the seafood was all really great and fresh. Service unfortunately was very slow, and it was not busy at all on a Thursday night. If service was more attentive it would have been a 5 star experience. Nice atmosphere but absent service. We were promptly seated but with the doors opened during dinner service, flies quickly swarmed our table whenever food was present. It was definitely an unpleasant dining experience with having to constantly swat away flies. After our order was taken, our server was pretty much absent for the rest of the meal. He seemed to have been helping around the bar area for the most part. We started out with the calamari fritti ($19). It was thinly coated and nicely fried but had a strong, fishy smell. For entrees, we had the eggplant parmigiana ($23), petto di pollo limone & capperi ($24), and Michelangelo pizza ($23). The eggplant parmigiana was mediocre, nothing outstanding to note. The lemon chicken with pasta was a little too sour for my liking, and the noodles were harder than al dente, making it challenging to chew thoroughly. The pizza was topped with Prosciutto and shrimp, and it was good but not good enough for its price point. The server did say it was one of the most commonly ordered pizza, though. I come here when I want GREAT pizza on the go. Their Margarita pizza is my favorite for takeout. The dough is fabulous (one of the few places where I devour every bite of the crust). Great space that's also dog friendly, so maybe Cako can come next time! The menu is different from South Park, since they have a pizza oven, but they also have the familiar dishes as well. Since we were early, we had two very delicious espresso martinis! As soon as Liz came, we ordered a bottle of prosecco to celebrate their new adventure! We started with the calamari, the artichoke hearts, bruschetta, and the fried brie alla milanese...which was soooooo good! We all ordered something different. I had one of my go tos, spaghetti carbonara....so good! The lasagna bolognese was a winner, as was the mushroom ravioli and orecchiette with gluten free pasta. I really don't want to post this review, but I have been to this restaurant 2x and each time there is a major problem. This trip, we ordered the Pappardelle Con Agnello ($24.50). Large flat pasta noodles tossed with slowly cooked lamb ragu. Pasta came out hard! I am not taking al dente, it was out right not cooked. It's so disappointing to see them serve such flavorful pizza and other dishes and yet the pasta is a complete fail. Pizza was great, fortunately. Not recommending. Just being honest. read more

My husband and I have been working long days preparing for my family's estate sale. Eating out is uncommon for us but the Italian food here is irresistible and so comforting. Try the Piacere Mio Salad right now; it's the best Summer salad with fresh corn, avocado and cherry tomatoes. And it paired well with the lamb ragu with pappardelle, perfectly al dente noodles. And this place is better than a pizza diner for birthday. Surprisingly it was a very successful experience! No matter the food and the vibe are both great. We ordered one MODIGLIANI pizza, one white sauce fresh made funghi pasta and one GRAPE SALAD salad. All of them are delicious. During my most recent visit, both my husband and I ordered the Cioppino to celebrate our anniversary. When it came out, we were immediately hit with a stinky seafood odor--the scent of something spoiled or rotten, not at all the fresh seafood we were expecting. Unfortunately, the scent permeated the dish. My husband had stomach pains and diarrhea shortly after eating here. My advice is to pass on the seafood dishes. We also noticed that the dishes, utensils, and table surface weren't clean. There were some food stains and grime that seemed to have accumulated and would require some thorough cleaning to get off. I have actually come to this restaurant a good hand full of times because of the food they deliver. Is it incredible? No. Is it better than Olive Garden? Yes. Having worked in the industry myself and trained in culinary arts, I understand what it takes to create not only exceptional food but also a welcoming and attentive dining experience. Sadly, both standards were not met. My sister and I were repeatedly ignored throughout the evening. After expressing our dissatisfaction it became clear we weren't a priority and did not receive any customer service. the staff seemed to disengage even more. It took an unreasonable amount of time just to receive our check. At one point, we were offered a complimentary dessert -- but it was delivered with an eye roll and no sense of sincerity, which only emphasized the lack of hospitality. Even that small gesture did nothing to make up for the overall experience. The food itself is acceptable, but when a restaurant advertises itself as "high-end," guests expect more than passable dishes and inattentive service. A truly great restaurant values hospitality as much as culinary quality. This establishment, unfortunately, fell short on both. read more
