Great service from Juan and the rest of the staff. I didn't eat anything because they have absolutely zero vegan options. My husband had the Eggs Benedict, and for the price he enjoyed them. They offer booths as well as table seating. There is very convenient parking as well.

We were leaving Menards when we decided to grab breakfast, a little hesitant about trying a "new place." Just across the street, we found Briana's Pancake House, a brand-new restaurant in Glendale Heights. Since it's so new, the space is spotless with a fresh, neutral décor. We ordered the Goldilocks Sampler--a ham and cheese omelet with two slices of bacon and two sausage links. For the side, you can pick from pancakes, potato pancakes, French toast, crepes, biscuits and gravy, or toast. I went with the biscuits and gravy. We also tried the Create-a-Skillet, which came with a side of pancakes. The sampler was solid: the biscuits and gravy weren't homemade, but still tasty; the ham and cheese omelet had a perfect balance of ham to cheese, with the ham cut small enough so you didn't need a knife for every bite. The skillet was also well done, with a nice ratio of vegetables to potatoes and eggs cooked perfectly. But the real star? The pancakes. We shared them, and they were outstanding--light, flavorful, and with a depth that truly stood out. Honestly, these pancakes beat IHOP and Denny's, no exaggeration. The only downside was the booths--the cushions are too soft, and you sink right in, which isn't very comfortable. Server was quite until we gave him a cash tip then he smiled big and said thank you! Overall, I'd give Briana's an 8 out of 10. Definitely worth a visit, especially for the pancakes!

Visited twice now. Food and service was great both times. It's better than other local breakfast/brunch restaurants.

I loved that I was greeted immediately by someone welcoming me in and opening the doors for me. The elevated breakfast sandwich with avocado and arugula is tasty and made with fresh ingredients. Bonus points for the pillowy soft brioche bun. The coffee is rich and hot here too and I love the individually packaged creamers rather than an open creamer container, like other breakfast places sometimes offer. I look forward to more visits, as this a great location for a meeting or group outing.

It took a couple minutes to get seated and a few more minutes for someone to come by and take my order. I've had the purple haze before and loved it. I wanted to try something different and went with the morning meditation. It was refreshing and you can definitely taste the tumeric. For food, I ordered the healthy turkey omelet, potatoes, and a side of chicken sausage. The omelet and potatoes were hot, but the chicken sausage was just warm. There was a good amount of turkey and spinach in the omelet and it will definitely keep me full for a while. Overall, I think the food was good. The service was okay. I think I'll stick to the purple haze next time!

First, the food lacked any seasoning -- no salt, no flavor, no care in preparation. The food should at least be properly cooked and seasoned. Secondly, my mother has a caffeine allergy. She politely asked for a to-go coffee cup with hot water and lemon so she wouldn't risk contamination from an unwashed cup that previously held coffee. Instead of accommodating a simple allergy-related request, your staff (with management approval) refused unless she paid for the cup. That level of insensitivity toward an allergy is unacceptable. On top of that, I ordered a cup of hot water with lemon and honey and was charged $3 -- the same as if I had ordered tea, even though I didn't ask for a tea bag. Charging customers full price for a basic cup of hot water and two lemon slices is unreasonable and frankly petty. I could understand a small charge for honey, but $3 is excessive. I obviously asked for the tea bag at this point. It's clear that more effort is being put into pushing sales of alcohol, ice cream, and coffee flights than into serving quality food or listening to patrons' needs. If more attention were given to the basics -- good food and decent managerial service (the server was at minimum okay)-- you wouldn't have to nickel-and-dime customers for hot water or disregard allergy concerns. I will not be returning, and I plan to share this experience publicly so others are aware.

The atmosphere hits that perfect sweet spot, warm, welcoming, and buzzing with just enough energy to make you feel like you found the place. Cozy without trying too hard, friendly without being fake, and full of that comforting breakfast chaos that somehow makes coffee taste better. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and somewhere between the first bite and the shamefully aggressive scraping of the plate, I experienced personal growth. These weren't sad, cafeteria biscuits fighting for survival under mystery gravy. No. These biscuits showed up with confidence. Fluffy, buttery little clouds carrying gravy so rich and comforting it could probably talk me through my taxes and unresolved childhood issues. By bite three, I was mentally canceling my responsibilities and considering forwarding my mail to Glenn Oak. The dangerous part? I looked around and realized everyone else seemed equally possessed by whatever culinary wizardry is happening in that kitchen. Suddenly ordering one thing felt irresponsible. If the biscuits and gravy hit this hard, what else are they hiding back there? Glenn Oak is the kind of place that makes you want to tell everyone you know... and absolutely nobody at the same time because waiting longer for a table sounds emotionally devastating. 10/10. Bring stretchy pants, poor decision making, and don't make plans immediately after because you may emotionally commit to staying all day!

Other than the chicken noodle soup, which my husband liked after dumping bags of oyster crackers in it, he did not like or even finish his BLT sandwich, and he loves anything with bacon. He said the bread was old and stale. I did not even bother with their only vegan item here, fruit. They only offer filler fruit (cantaloupe and melon). Vegetarians should do okay if they are ordering eggs or ask for menu item modifications.
