Later in the day, for lunch, we shared a scotch egg. The scotch egg was perfectly runny and had a crisp outside. We also shared the fish & chips and ordered the cod as the fish. But on my second visit I was told that they don't brew their own beer anymore and that they only have guest taps from other breweries but they still had a good variety of beer to choose from as far as beer options go. So this place is more of a taphouse with guest taps so something to keep in mind. It's still as cool as I remember it. My last visit here looked like a concert was going to start. Might have been a metal or a punk oriented type band as that was what the audience appeared to be. I wasn't going to see the show and just wanted a beer so they were nice enough to let me in to do just that. Black Lodge Brewing is one of those breweries that is inspired by the TV show Twin Peaks and you pick up subtle nods to it there with some pictures of Laura Palmer. I bought some swag for this brewery online and while they had several designs I went with the logos that had the opening credits styled from the show with the brewery name on it.
