Cool bar to hang out at. They don't have food, so you need to bring your own snacks, but they do have chips. The service is good, and the environment is nice. Also, the music is good. After eight or nine, the drinks are pretty good too -- not watered down and reasonably priced. My fave spot to turn up after a long week with my hubby

    Team lost but great times.

First time at Corner Bar to watch a semi final soccer game and it was the spot! Nick and Gustavo put the ambience to it. I can only image the World Cup here. Appreciate the hospitality, will back again.

I've been coming to this bar for a while now, and it never disappoints. The space and people are always inviting, relaxed, and just the right amount of lively. What sets this place apart is the staff. While they are consistently busy being friendly and attentive, they seem to enjoy what they do genuinely. Whether you're a regular or just dropping in, they make you feel welcome every time.

Very small intimate bar, the staff is very friendly! Even the ones that don't speak English. The music machine was super high tech, took a minute to figure out. THE DRINKS ARE BOMB. Strong & BOMB! They are NOT stingy w/ the liquor. We had 2 strawberry mango Bellinis and 6 margaritas (in total split between two people) The ONLY Downside is THEY DO NOT serve food, I repeat THE DO NOT SERVE FOOD. Literally the only downside, because some bar wings would of SLAPPED w/ the drinks! I recommend for sure just don't come on a empty stomach!

This place definitely has all of the bones of a good bar: Polite patrons Mixed crowd Different genres of music Amazing drinks (try the cucumber shots) Pool TV Super nice bartender's HOWEVER, The owner was behind the bar and came to where we were and angrily said "do NOT smoke your weed or your vapes inside the bar!!" Shooed his hands. ..and walked away. I don't smoke, neither does the person that came with me. Then a man sitting next to us, pulls out his vape pen and puffs out smoke. So we call over the owner, and tell him who is actually smoking. And what does he do? POLITELY asks the man to not smoke inside and to make sure he does that stuff outside. The owner gave a half assed apology, while still being rude, and walked away. Definitely soured our entire experience. I don't live in the area anyway but I highly doubt I'd be back. If the color of my skin makes you assume I smoke weed and to be angry and aggressive straight off the bat when interacting with me, then my money isn't going to be spent here. Dear reader please ensure you are of a lighter hue when visiting this establishment, especially with the owner ;(

Been here once and it was amazing . That bartenders are great and even got to meet owner Albert. Real humble guy . (A.k.a Dj Clap)

We came here to celebrate my cousin's graduation after she became a doctor, and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. The food was delicious, rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The drinks were great too! I enjoyed the wine and champagne, which were smooth and not overly strong. A special shoutout to our server, Daniel, who did an amazing job taking care of our group. He was attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: it can get pretty windy up there since you're close to the airport, so bring a light jacket or dress accordingly. Thankfully, they have fire pits and heat lamps that help keep everyone warm and comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Thank you for a great experience!

Ambiance is nicely decorated, it's part of the hotel, so just walk right in, pass the lobby, take the elevator to the 6th floor and you are there. Parking is free and plenty of it outside, do not feel the need to pay. Service: Horrible, I would give her a zero if I could. We had the woman server, reddish hair, one who I thought would be seasoned. Oder took her about 8 minutes, she then walk away and not said why. It was apparent that there was an issue with the table. Drinks took about another 12 mins to arrive and when they did it would have been great if she had spilled them. Drinks were horrible. My rum and coke was served flat and warm. Ice was dirty, seemed like no preventative maintenance takes place. No napkins were served, and at no time did she stop by to check in on us. Bartenders... not presentable at all. I didn't know what I was looking at. There was no way for me to tell if he was a bartender, or anyone else making the drinks. He seemed hot and sweaty, completely off, and wearing some sort of white T-Shirt., again, you couldn't event tell that it was a bartender making that drink, the entire experience was horrible. The drinks were so bad that we took 2 sips and said it's time to go. Waitress came by, we checked out and she just stood there waiting for a tip. We felt forced to tip her, when in reality I wanted to say, please quit your job. Folks, if you are looking for a nice classy drink, or something made right, do your self a favor and go elsewhere. if you are staying there, either go to the lobby bar, or better yet, skip out and head to Manhattan beach. No one should pay over $50.00 for poorly made drinks, served on a dirty glass, warm and with less than mediocre service.

It looks like the only food they sell themselves is cookies at the counter. Got to try a few of the bevs before making my selection. I really don't like hoppy beers and ended up with the Two Wheeler, a lavender sour. It tasted just as expected and I enjoyed it. I also tried the tropical sour (not very sour) and the wild beer which was funky and fun. Drinks were on the affordable side- order and pay at the counter; and the trivia was pure entertainment (we lost btw). They have a tiny parking lot, which was full by the time we showed up, especially with a few of the spaces taken up by the food vendor. It was easy to park down the street and take a short walk over.

The night we went, they had the regular Dole Whip frozen drink and ube as the rotating flavor. Both were dope! It's only a few bucks more to add a rum floater, but I stopped doing that. The drink tastes so good I finish it in minutes, and I prefer not to get hammered on a Wednesday night. No kitchen is the only real downside. People bring food in or DoorDash it, which works. Parking can be tough sometimes because of the other businesses around the plaza. It can get cold in there from the A/C, so bring a sweatshirt or jacket. It's literally walking distance from our hotel in Torrance -- so close we actually walked past it the first time without even realizing it was there. Super hidden, easy to miss. The space itself is small, and when you first walk in it doesn't hit you with an over-the-top tiki vibe right away. But once the drinks start coming out, it fully delivers. The glassware is so fun and themed -- I was obsessed with the flamingo cup and actually ended up buying a couple online since I couldn't take the real one home with me. Drink-wise, I stuck mostly to my usual zombie, which has this great earthy, cinnamon-y flavor that's just different from anything else -- does the trick every time (there's a two-drink max/minimum on it, which I respect). We also tried a Makahiki Mua and a Painkiller, both really solid. The Makahiki Mua had a fun flavor, kind of similar to a Painkiller, but the zombie is still my go-to. Service was pretty good overall -- the bartender stayed mostly in one corner of the bar, which actually worked in our favor since we got served fast. A couple of small quirks though: they only have a limited number of menus, so we kept having to pass one back and forth around the bar, which felt a little silly. They also seemed to be running low on drink cups at times, having to wash and rotate them back into use, which was an odd thing to notice at a bar this size. Also wish they had some food or snacks available, even something small -- but that's a minor gripe. Vibe-wise, this is easily one of my favorite tiki lounges I've been to -- doesn't quite topple Broken Compass Tiki for me, but it's up there. Fun, easy, great drinks, solid service despite the small hiccups, and a perfect spot if you're staying in the Torrance area. Would absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone chasing that tiki lounge crawl.
