I recently dined here and had a great experience. The quality of the food seems like it has improved. We ordered the Caesar salad with salmon which was delicious and the buffalo chicken burrito, which was a bit soggy. However, overall it was good. They have great chips and salsa and give it to you right when you sit down. Our waitress was attentive and kept coming back to fill up our drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating and many parking spots along Main Street. This restaurant is located in the town so there are many other shops to walk to. First of all for those expecting fine dining - there are plenty of other options in the area. This is not that kind of place. it offers decent food at a reasonable price for Westhampton. The staff is on the young side and the outdoor tables can be a bit sticky. But as far as outdoor dining in a nice location for a quick bite, it fits the bill. The lobster roll and Chicken Fahita were very good. In the many times we've been there service was fine. It can be a busy place during peak times and there's a reason for that. We had delivery which arrived on time and hot. West Hampton in the off season You might expect delays however they hit the mark with delivery time and condition . Thefood was well Prepared and packed for travel though it lacked a level of seasoning that was disappointing. Fajitas chicken and veggies well cooked but lacked authentic seasoning from any region of Mexico. No offense but I would compare it to a plain Jane version of Mexican food. To be fair we eat Mexican often and live 20 miles from the Mexican border . Good food poor seasoning . Pricy for Mexican even more so when it lacks the expected flavor of Mexican. A decent place in the heart of Westhampton Beach. I came here with a group of six and had a pleasant experience. Chips and salsa came out pretty quick and the salsa was quite good. The portions are quite sizable which is good considering it is a bit pricey, but hey, it's the Hamptons. Service was good and the place was clean and sizable. The sat us down very quickly and they took our order. They give you free chips and salsa which is very nice. The salsa and chips were very good I loved the chips some don't like the salsa it is a little tomatoey if you don't like but most will think it's fine. The service was very good and fast. The waiters kept passing by us cause we kept standing in the way, but that's OK. I got the chicken quesadilla. It was an amazing meal it came with sour cream and guacamole which worked really well. I thought the salad was a little bit unnecessary. It was just like arugula, which isn't that exciting for anybody maybe if you're vegan. My friend Gus got the buffalo burrito bowl he described his bowl as "my bowl was I thought it was very tasty. I don't think it was the greatest, but I thought it was a worthy meal. 7. Something...". Ah, Margarita Grille in West Hampton. We finally made it after a quick 40-minute wait for a table, which really helped us build up our appetite for... well, what we were about to experience. Loved starting off with chips and "salsa" that tasted suspiciously like Prego sauce (fun twist on Italian-Mexican fusion, I guess?). The margarita flight was also interesting--like a whisper of tequila with whatever juice they could find, which made it very hydrating, if nothing else. The taco salad came in a tortilla shell that felt like it had been waiting for us for a while, topped with what I'm pretty sure was Kraft cheese and some beans. Cozy, like a dorm room dinner. The shrimp quesadilla? Generously filled with microwaved frozen shrimp and more Kraft cheese--consistent theme, which I respect. The highlight was the red, white, and blue tacos, which I'm sure were meant to be a trio, but only two showed up. I guess the blue one decided to stay home for the holiday. The shrimp in them tasted exactly like the shrimp in the quesadilla, so again, consistency. If you're looking for an overpriced adventure that will make you nostalgic for Taco Bell, this is the place. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch while shopping on Main Street last weekend. It was crazy windy, but we opted to grab a table outside under the tent. This is such a relaxed fun place. It would be even better if they were right on the water. The server was really helpful and told us he was excited about getting an order of the taco special later, so we opted to order it. We split the fish tacos, a side of rice and beans and a Caesar salad. The tacos were a fried flounder special. Two come to an order. If you see these on the menu, do not get anything else. Get these tacos now. You will be so happy you did. If you are hungry, get two orders, sharing optional. The sides were good but completely overshadowed by the tacos. Yum. However the service is a little spotty, our waiter accidentally delayed putting in our order so it took a long time while before it came. We had to ask for water a few times. My husband and I LOVE Margarita Grill. We have brought friends and family to dine with us and they are equally impressed. Understand that American Mexican (i.e. Tex Mex) is one of my favorites. Drinks are wonderfully prepared with fresh ingredients and the cocktail menu is varietal and delicious. I highly recommend the raspberry mojito - muddles with fresh raspberries and mint. All meals we've enjoyed and have been delicious - fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, tamales, and chili relleños, to name a few. Salsa and chips served with drinks are always tasty. Staff is super friendly, accommodating, helpful and hard-working. LOVE the live music nights! Really enhances the fun of a great dining experience. They select excellent bands. The service is extremely slow even on a quiet weekday at 2 pm and the servers look like they stepped out of a sorority from the movie Legally Blonde. The hamburger I ordered was good but not great and the total tab of a Coke, Hamburger - tip and tax of $30. ( higher than Columbus Avenue in Manhattan or Soho) is a travesty. First time trying out Margarita Grille. The location is right in Westhampton beautiful town. Seems to be a local favorite with many stores near by. The parking was easy to find. My group and I came in as a walk-in, sitting outside in the shade. The server was great very attentive and friendly. The special summer drinks were fun and my pineapple bomber was delicious. The prices were fair for being near the Hamptons. Once we put in our orders we got some chips and salsa to pick at for free. Our drinks and food came at a reasonable time. The appetizers were very tasty the jalapeños in the calamari's were a hit. The chips that came with the guacamole were a bit too salty. The chicken tostadas were big and great! Been coming here for a while. Time for a review. No reservations. So if it's busy. You might have to wait. The greeter was super nice. It was a bit busy. He found a table in the shade. Our waitress was prompt and cheerful. Got chips and salsa. Nothing special. Got the disco lemonade. Pretty good. Shared the special burrito and a Cobb salad. Both good. Nothing unique. My husband and I like to eat dinner here once and awhile with our children. Last night was the last time we will be returning. Even though we were seated quickly, our server was not attentive at all. When he appeared, we gave him our order right away. Then my son watched two very young boys sit at a table top next to us and get chips and their food before us (who came in 7 min. After us) This is the second time we never received chips. Even though we ordered quickly we had to wait a decent time for the food. I got red white and blue tacos but were very bland. The chairs are cheap, the water is tap water served in plastic bottle with plastic cups. The table felt sticky and gross like they swabbed it with the floor mop. The bathroom upstairs smells disgusting and can not even open the door to the stall bc it hits the toilet. I had a hard time helping my kids in there. The one bathroom on the main level is always taken. I had my girls start walking upstairs and a server popped out of the main family one so I rushed them back down to use it. The stairs going up are sketchy AF. They're like creepy basement stairs I thought myself and kids were going to fall down. Our waiter took our order and then was never seen again. Didn't even ask if we needed anything. I had to grab a bus boy to ask for ketchup. I couldn't wait to run out of there. As for our family who lives local with lots of kids, we probably won't be back after this last experience. read more

Peggy grille, one of my favorite places on earth. Have been coming to this joint for a long time, one of the first places I wanna visit when I step foot in west Hampton. My family has always started off with the nacho grande, a big hit with us. A nice voluptuous plate filled with cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, and much more. A lovely detail this place does not like many others is they provide the table with a pitcher of water, so folks like me who need refills every 4 seconds don't need to wait, and can get it myself. Especially when they drool on the table that people eat on. It has to be a violation of health rules. Stopped here for some lunch during a quick stroll through West Hampton. First, they offered us a table inside. It was already around 1pm but the place was completely empty. The moment we walked inside, the stench of cleaning solution hit us so hard that we immediately asked for an outside table instead. The chips they put on the table were clearly stale. We didn't want to bother them and figured it was just a one-off so we ate em anyway. We ordered the wings with chili sauce to share. They were actually quite good. Nothing amazing, but had a good crispiness to them with some solid sweet chili sauce to boot. We then got the carnitas tacos and the shrimp tacos. Like the chips, the hard shell tortillas were also very stale. That's when it hit us why this place only had 3 stars. The pork carnitas were not very good either. Not inedible, but they tasted more like lunch meat than anything fresh and enjoyable. Almost something you would find in a elementary school cafeteria sloppy joe. The saving grace was the shrimp. I ended up just eating them with a fork out of the taco shell. They were actually quite good. Overall, not a great place to eat if you want consistently good food. Not terrible, but I'm a bit disappointed. I thought a place like the Hamptons would have much better quality restaurants than this in the middle of town. read more

Right in the heart of West Hampton, I've always been curious about this place since it always seems to be crowded and happening. I now know why. Although it seemed like it was going to be a long wait it was only about 20min on a Friday night at dinner time. The burrito bowl was great. Nice big portion with a perfect balance of rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, guac, sour cream & protein. I was very impressed with the shrimp and bowl itself. You're served chips and salsa when you sit down which were also pretty good. Overall, this was a great summer time feel atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating and some good Mexican food. They serve chips to all with tomato paste it's not even salsa. Chips are so salty. The food is so bland. Doesn't have any taste what so ever. I let the manager know the food was bland and her response was "it's the first I hear about that tonight" how about so sorry let me see what I can do to make your dinner time better. NO that didn't happen . I got my bill and I asked for an adjustment as I didn't eat the guc with chips my family didn't eat the shrimp or the beef tacos . Just took a bite.
