My big question is whether the Kettle and Grille used to be something else. It effects nothing but decor, but it's a curiosity thing. Anyway, it's part of a larger plaza so there is a good amount of parking. There seems to be plenty of tables and booths, although a Sunday post-church rush may prove me wrong. The waitress was very friendly and real, no fake cheer or obnoxiousness. I got to try Ube pancakes, which were beautifully purple, had a slight crunch on the top and lovely flavor. I definitely recommend, the Kettle and Grille seems to know exactly what they're doing! You do pay up front where people are also checking in at the same time, which can cause stress.

2 years later and this diner (and this dish) is still amazing! I have been stopping by this restaurant usually three times a month. The consistency of this place - from the food, to the speed of service, to the servers - is remarkable. Although it's an unassuming restaurant within Crispin Square, the people I bring here leave happy. The inside has ample tables for both small and large parties, and just like any restaurant, they do get busy during the weekend (especially on Sunday) so just be prepared. They turn over tables quickly thanks to the fast service so your wait will be reasonable. Only feedback I have is I find their side soup and salad prices to be very high (though I can understand the soup price a bit because they keep 4 soups on rotation every day, plus 1 unique soup for the day. I'm assuming the cost subsides the other options.) If you're looking for a solid casual diner-like restaurant, absolutely give these guys a try!

A diner I've been many times before for breakfast. Dined here for dinner the first time and will only be coming back for breakfast. My bf and I thought the food and experience was a 3.5/5. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, Greek stuffed chicken, French onion soup and chicken matzah ball soup. Winners were the soup. I loved the chicken matzah ball soup and honestly wish there was more! Unfortunately, we weren't a fan of the other two entrees. The spaghetti tasted like a can of sauce and frozen meatballs. The chicken received a two thumbs down from me. I couldn't even finish it nor wanted to take home leftovers. I absolutely love coming here for breakfast and will return for that!

this place reminded me of a cute dinner. It had all the same homey and family friendly vibes and service and same large and delicious portions. I had the mediterranean skillet that had so much flavor. I tried the ube pancakes which were the perfect kind of sweet. Great place would come again to try other parts of their menu!

Great food at a decent price. The most amazing server we've ever had! Ambience was family friendly. A+!!

I've been here for brunch a few times, and the food is always fast and fresh. The location is in a strip mall near the old 70/73 circle and has a diner feel. My sister and I both ordered coffee (which arrived in large metal mugs that reminded us of Moscow mules) and a breakfast skillet. The gyro meat in my Mediterranean skillet was tender and perfectly spiced. (My sister tried a piece and agreed.) Everything went together perfectly, and the portions were generous. For $20 each (not including tip), two hungry sisters left the establishment satiated and stuffed. A top favorite local brunch spot!

Never a bad meal. Breakfast lunch and dinner, breakfast all day, homemade soups, everything is great. Service is awesome, inside is that great homie feeling vibe. Everything is very fresh tasty and that comfort food it's the spot every time.

We followed this with a 8oz filet each with the black garlic butter and I got the lobster tail on the side. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing especially with the butter added. We also got the Parmesan truffle fries and Brussel sprouts to share and both were out of this world as well. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake which was HUGE very good and moist. When we were leaving there was a band playing in the bar area and people dancing. Looks like it's a nice hang out on the weekends. The restaurant is beautiful and would be perfect for a date night or special occasion. Our waitress was friendly and honest, even mentioning that the chef had changed and some dishes weren't as good as before. We started with the crispy calamari, which was overly fried and lacked flavor. I also ordered the clam chowder and burrata caprese. The chowder was extremely salty and I couldn't finish it, while the burrata had great flavors but the dough was underbaked and too soft to even hold. My parents ordered the baby back ribs and steak frites, and both were disappointed as well. Overall, the atmosphere and service were excellent, but the food fell short. Maybe it was just an off day, but unfortunately it didn't live up to the glowing reviews my parents had shared.

For the main dish, this time I ordered the 20oz bone in ribeye, which was excellent. The only complaint I'd have was that the broccoli was a bit off and I had to leave them on the dish. The mashed potatoes were very good. The "steak sauce" wasn't needed and taste-wise it probably won't be for everyone anyway. First and foremost, our server was excellent. Polite and prompt, friendly, everything you want in a server. My problem was the food ... I ordered the halibut, asked my server about the "seasonal veggies" it comes with (she mentioned asparagus, okay good) because I do love veggies, but there are some I just really do not. Unfortunately, those exact veggies arrived on the plate, and my entree looked more like stir fry. I don't like onions or peppers ... and they were the base veggie of the dish. The menu describes the "sauce" as a lemon citronette, and this dish was not at all what I was expecting. It lacked flavor, there was no sauce, not a hint of lemon (I even squeezed some on there & it didnt help :( ) I can get past some vegetables I don't eat, just pushed them to the side, but the halibut was so so so incredibly dry. It wasn't soft, or flakey, or moist. (I hate that word but it was the best way to describe what it lacked) It was like cardboard. I was trying to choke it down because I too, had just worked a serving shift for Mothers Day, & it was the first thing I was eating all day. My husband mentioned something to the server because he knew I wouldn't haha, I don't like to be a pain customer or send things back. Fortunately, they did take it off the bill, but it was just a bummer. Willing to try again in the future, & I'll just stay away from the halibut.

My boyfriend and I sat in the bar area for a quick lunch on Friday. It was busy but not overly so. I got a drink that was decent. The service was also good but that's where the positives end. For a starter we tried the Hamachi Crudo. What came to the table was far from acceptable. Large hunks of tuna, some pieces with the white part of the skin still attached. It just looked botched. Bloodline and different sized pieces. You couldn't chew the white part so we had to cut it off. Then when we tried to eat it, it was full of pin bones. We picked out 4 pieces with bone. No real sauce on the plate. No flavor other than the chilis that were placed on top. One of the worst things I've ever been served. When our entrees came out first off, the French fries that we paid extra for were spare. My chicken avocado wrap tasted like nothing. It didn't have much chicken, I didn't notice any of the cheese or avocado ranch that was supposed to be on it. It was full of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. My BF said his turkey sandwich had no taste either and he wasn't sure it had what it said it should have on it. Very little turkey, undercooked, limp bacon and bread he said that was stale. Walking away we were just shocked. A bad course is one thing but every dish was just abysmal. You know it's bad when the people that were dining next to you grab you outside to see if your meal was as bad as theirs. I know, I should have shared by displeasure with staff but I'm so uncomfortable doing that. I don't need places to be perfect, I understand businesses have off days but this was a train off it's tracks kinda meal. I really hope Braddocks turns this around. But we will not be back.

We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

So, the only reason I opted for Randalls is because it's a short drive and I had work after dinner so it was convenient. Based on their IG posts, it seemed decent. From what I was told, they try to be an upscale steakhouse so bad but just couldn't get it right. But enough of this heresay and here's my actual experience. There's valet. This is a golf course/club house and they have plenty of private spaces for parties and events. They seemed to have coat check but when we arrived, no one offered to check our coats. The main hostess lady that night (in her mint green sweater dress and leather booties) talked to us with a flat face, sans warmth and hospitality, and couldn't manage to fake a smile. She stopped by a couple of times to say we are doing okay and not needing anything. It was more of a statement rather than a query or concern. Then she walked away before I could answer, both times. The ambiance, it's very intimate. They have ample space. Our server was very accommodating and pleasant (I believe her name was Robin). Now here's my honest review on the food. We ordered fried calamari, nothing fancy just good old fried calamari. I feel like you really can't get this wrong because it's breaded and deep fried. It was stinky! Really fishy fish bite that you couldn't ignore it! I mainly ordered this for the kids but after I tasted it, I didn't want to give it to the kids. So they had bread instead. No complaint there. MIL got the filet mignon, ordered medium - it was barely cooked and begging to be seasoned. My husband and I got the lamb chops and I ordered an extra side of toasted sweet potatoes. The lamb chops were also not to the temperature I ordered it and was very undercooked. It didn't have any flavor whatsoever, and the only way I was able to tolerate this bland meat was to dip it in the sauce it came with. The potatoes were very charred on the outside but tough on the inside. The sugars on the outside were so burned it was bitter. If you're looking for a legitimate steakhouse, this ain't it!
