The lone vet inside grilled us for a few minutes about our military status in an obvious attempt to point out that we did not belong. But the bartender, probably wanting the business, finally convinced him to allow us to stay. The bar is in the center of the room, square-shaped. It was a pretty simple place, about what you'd expect for a VFW / American Legion. I can't remember if there was a jukebox or pool table but usually there are. As long as you can make it through the Inquisition, it's a decent dive environment to hang out in.
