WOW. I realllllly wanted to like this place. The guys inside are so freaking friendly and inviting! It is a super clean little spot at the corner end of a strip mall (hence the name.) My friend and I stopped in to grab something to hold us over before dinner. I am torn between wishing that we'd never stopped inside, and being incredibly grateful that we did To warm as many people as possible to avoid our fate. The food is about as nasty as it can get, I didn't take pictures because I wouldn't dare disrespect my phone like that. We got a fried chicken, pulled pork and regular hamburger sliders. I wished I could've slid them right back, the chicken patty was literally grey on the inside, on top of being hard as a rock. The pulled pork wasn't great, the hamburger was meh. The steak skewer with rice looked yummy, the marinade was ok, nothing to write home about but nothing I'm proud to announce that I've eaten either. I wish these guys luck, but I don't have faith they will last. read more

I got to say I'm really impressed with the food I like it a lot a little pricey but worth it. The owners are pretty cool guys and seem to understand what makes a small business work. Tried pretty much most of their wings and most of their sliders and their loaded fries, I gotta say I'm a happy camper. Vegan or not, don't hesitate to stop at The Corner Kitchen! Loved this place! Little corner joint in a little strip with delicious sliders. I had the bbq mushroom slider- so good! My sister had a mushroom/swiss slider and my nephew an Ahi slider. All of us were in agreement that they were excellent! We shared a quinoa salad (loved it!) and an order of fries that was big enough for all three of us! When our food was brought out (we sat outside!), the kind gentlemen asked if I was vegan and said he highly recommends their falafel burger (I'm going back)! So I saw a few good reviews on this place and since we get our grandson on Friday nights we decided to give it a try. BEST FRIES EVER! Terrific sliders, too. A little off the beaten path from where I live but worth the trip. They have lovely sliders menu and many drink options. We tried the spicy chicken, pork shoulder in rojo, and my favorites were the bbq magic mushroom (vegan) and my partners special pork belly with jalapeño slaw. All delicious but next we'll be trying others to find which are best. Loved the Cajun fries and special beers. They have wine too and friendly servers. It was absolutely delicious, they put on a perfect amount of sauce to cover everything and not be too overpowering. I went to the corner kitchen, the other day, with a friend of mine, to celebrate her birthday. Here is what I experienced. 1. Welcoming, family owned business. 2. Many different slider options on the menu including beef, pork, chicken, and salmon. They also have vegetarian options. You can also get your slider without a bun on a bed of lettuce. They also have salad options, skewer choices, wings and fries. 3. I had a blue cheese, Swiss cheese, and mushroom and the BBQ hamburger sliders. Each letter was uniquely different and delicious.. My friend had the 2 KC sliders that had cheddar cheese on them. She also had the french fries that were cooked perfectly. Crunchy on the outside tender on the inside.. she loved her meals so much she's bringing back her whole family. The seating area is clean, and very basic. Perfect for this kind of restaurant. The slider selection is large and varied. I tried 3 and they were all good. The fries were crispy and delicious. One of the owners, Sal, told us to build what we wanted onto the fries. They have a good beer selection and wines too. The location is out of the way, but it is worth it to go there. I will be back. read more

Also, their falafel patties are on point; not an after thought (like so many other places that toss a little Med in the mix). My wife and I were in the area and were looking for a place to go for lunch. We almost turned around when we saw the place because it looked like hole-in-the-wall but we are glad we did. The salad my wife had was very tasty and the 3 sliders we ordered were to die for (make sure you try their CK Slider). We highly recommend this place. I saw the sign that said,"best sliders in town" so I decided to give them a try. This little family run hole in the wall joint is the bomb!!! Service was fantastic and the food, well the pork belly slider was amazing! My mum ordered two more to go! The fries were hot and crispy, and the garden salad was fresh and dressed to perfection.
