However, there is a train station parking right across. The place itself is pretty large. There is an area to order food with Menu choices written on the chalkboard behind the counter. There is seating in the front and then there's seating in the back as well as a small private room, which is not very private as there is always a group sitting in there. There is also additional seating outside and sometimes there are musicians who play to the aidience. The food itself, specially the crepes are awesome. Service is prompt and overall a good artsy vibe to the place.

My wife and I both love The Corner Restaurant. We go there whenever we're in Milford.The prices are great( I can spend the same amount at a fast food place and not get food nearly as good). I've never been disappointed in any of the very creative items on the menu. The owner always takes the time to stop by our table and talk. We were there the Friday before Father's Day to meet some friends who were in town from Chicago with their granddaughter. When we got there we saw our friends but not their granddaughter. That's because she sitting at the counter( on one of those spinning stools) putting stickers on Father's day menus. She had a ball. At the end of our lunch Michele, the owner, took her next door and bought her a cupcake. When we saw them again on Father's Day the only thing she talked about was her visit to The Corner Rest. We come in from Hamden to go there, it is certainly worth the drive! read more

Always liked this place, but am a bit disturbed by an earlier review of someone being "asked to leave" because they were there for a while. I guess I believe a paying customer has a right to be there, whether it's coffee or food. A bit disappointed because sometimes we have company and would like to sit and chat. I guess we will be looking for a nearby diner and definitely won't stop in for a pastry and coffee only. The owner replied "after your 7th cup of coffee..." I found this place on Yelp but it was closed when I stopped by. Try them again today and got lucky for brunch. My cousin and I ordered the pork belly dish and the pecan French toasts. We also had fresh orange juice and cocoa. The meal was delish and totally different from brunch dishes anywhere else with their choice of baguette for toasts and pesto sauce over the eggs. Delish!
