This was our second visit- we passed many other restaurants on our way up north including a 5 star joint in Fox Lake that was booked solid. It was worth the wait for sure! Food and service was outstanding just like our first visit. We had Bloody Mary's which were delicious, condiments and beer chaser were super generous portions. Worth stopping for the bloody's alone but food- holy cow!! I highly recommend this place - 10 stars!!! Very casual environment, staff is super friendly and attentive- it does not get better than this!!

I had a late lunch at "The Corner Pocket" today. I remember when this building was a drug store during the years I was growing up, so it was nice to see it refurbished and converted for modern use. It's a nice neighborhood-type bar/restaurant. Open and airy, with a pleasant color scheme & woods, and a comfortable feeling. There's even limited outdoor seating. From where I was sitting I counted 11 wall-mounted TV's. I sampled several items from the menu, (which had a good variety). For an appetizer I chose the pork quesadillas. The pork had a slight smoky flavor that I liked. For a salad I chose the Fiesta Taco (I asked for the jalapeños to be held because I don't like HOT). The lettuce and ingredients were fresh and tasty. Lastly I tried the Frisco Burger. The Black Angus meat was done just how I requested, and the flavor of the meat and sandwich as-a-whole was great. The accompanying french fries were tasty (often times places will buy the cheapest fries they can, and the taste reflects it, but NOT these). The portions were good sized, the prices were fair, and the service was excellent. All in all, a good dining experience.

I ordered the pesto tomato basil panini and it was very good! Boyfriend ordered a 1/4 burger and he said that was very good as well. Food did take a little longer than I expected it would take so we ended up having to box it up and take it with us. The server was very nice and accommodating. Prices were a tad on the high side for bar food.

Great place to check out if you're spending a weekend at Cascade. I had a bacon cheeseburger. It was really good. The sweet potato fries were good. It seemed like everybody was ordering the Chuck Norris Burger which is a patty between two grilled cheese sandwiches. It looked awesome. Spotted Cow on draft as well.

Stopped by to get some lunch and I feel that's the best spot in the neighborhood! Owed by great and friendly person Mark, who met us as we were his old friends:) food is great, everything is fresh and homemade. Cozy and neat place. We really enjoyed our time and if we ever be back, we will come again. Thanks

Came in after a day at Cascade Mt. Large open windows for an inviting outside appeal, open inside with plenty of TVs to watch whatever sports events on. Came in on Sunday during super bowl and it had plenty of space to move. Great food and service

    Garlic Parmesan wings

Ordered the jumbo Wings, which probably were jumbo before they were left in the fryer way to long. The garlic Parmesan sauce was also a huge disappointment, just big gobs of cheese with a little garlic mixed in. The cheese curds were decent. The spinach dip was flavorless and the cheese on top was burnt. The manager did offer to make new wings for my wife but we already had waited 10 minutes before someone waited on us and another hour before our overcooked food came out. No thanks!! Thought this place would have improved after the lawn rangers guy left but it didn't. It should have stayed closed, save yourself the trip.

My son and I were driving through the area and looking for a place to grab dinner. We're glad we stopped here. The service was friendly and the food was fantastic! We lived in TX for 7+ years and have to say that their BBQ pulled pork is excellent! Definitely worth the stop!

Forgot to mention the beer chaser is a very generous size too!!

We moved from Madison to Portage about two months ago. Our Saturday morning tradition was a make your own Bloody Mary Bar in Monona and I was super sad to be moving so far away. I was so happily surprised to walk into the corner pocket on a Saturday morning and discover their build your own bloody Mary bar! They even have better Fixin's than our previous regular spot. All of the staff are very friendly and have gone out of their way to learn our names and make us feel welcome! Definitely our new hometown favorite!!

Terrible Margaritas! Very very sour! The food was just okay, nothing special. Zero follow up once the food was delivered.

My friend had the Philly Steak sandwich and said it was the best meal she'd ever eaten. The exterior is absolutely gorgeous with all the flowers. The interior is tastefully decorated and cozy. The service was excellent from the minute we arrived until we departed. I wish so much I lived closer to Neil's!

Yelp and google gave it pretty decent reviews, so we stopped in. One thing that was cool was last night the patio was reserved for only those who had dogs. It would have been neat to know that ahead of time and we could have brought our dog. Not sure if that's a daily thing or special for Saturday nights. The inside was cool, you can see the historic charm in this place. We got immediate seating, which was really nice. We were told multiple times the kitchen was backed up and we would have to wait about 45 minutes for our food. That was fine. We figured if we ordered an appetizer to go with dinner it would come out earlier. Our friends appetizers came out nearly an hour later. My husband and I each ordered a cup of the French onion soup and we got it 30 minutes after our friends got theirs. Our main courses came out shortly after that. Two of us ordered the chicken masala, one ordered a steak, and I ordered the salmon. All of our food was amazing. My husband said hands down the best meal in a restaurant in 2026. It would have been nice if the restaurant offered us a free dessert or round of drinks for the extremely long wait. Honestly I was about to ask if they even started making our meals when the soups finally came out, because if they hadn't I'd have said forget it. If I'm being honest, I'd have rated our experience lower, because that wait time was awful. But the food was delicious and this surely can't be something that happens regularly, because if it was, this place would have way less 5 star reviews. If I'm in the area again I'd give this place another shot, and hopefully our wait time is much shorter and the food is just as good.
