The food is always fresh and delicious. If you are anywhere near the Westside, you need to try them out. You will not be disappointed.

The sandwiches were delicious and the chicken pasta was amazing as well. I highly recommend them to cater another event.

Ok so Lula brunch goes just as hard as the dinner! I've tried the breakfast burrito, matcha…read morebostock, coconut financier, the tineka, the baked French feta, and the carrot cake. The breakfast burrito is 100% worth the hype. Such buttery fluffy soft eggs w a ton of cheese & the most flavorful sauces (my personal fave was the red sauce)! This thing is massive - I had half and saved the other half for later. The pastries were 10/10 no notes. Very fresh, perfect textures, not overly sweet. The tineka was a flavor bomb! The bread was phenomenal. There's some type of sweet n slightly spicy chutney(?) that really gave it a pop of flavor. The slaw that comes w it was amazing as well. The carrot cake was so moist, perfectly spiced, and the right amount of sweet. Critique: while the baked French feta was good, I think this is the most overpriced dish for what is essentially a small block of feta with some sourdough and a couple pieces of olives and cucumbers. Also, the sourdough was kinda too hard and crunchy for my liking. This is the only dish I don't recommend.

I thought this was to die for - the pasta Yai Yai is a speciality here, and the ingredient list (brown butter, feta, and cinnamon) was intriguing. the pasta was perfectly al dente, long and thick pieces of bucatini. my dining companion loved this dish and was shocked how well the ingredients went together. I thought it was tasty but I could not get a real blend of the flavors, more just tasted "ok cinnamon" and "ok feta" separately, not much of a blend. - the Bavette steak could have been cut with a spoon. the most tender cut of beef in a sweet and sour balsamic sauce. the vegetables, cauliflower and broccoli, were cooked in different seasoning than the steak, providing for more complexity. the slivers of grapes brought out the sweetness of the balsamic.

I had only sat upstairs at the bar and outside, so I was happy we were able to see the downstairs. It's very intimate down there with only a few tables, while the upstairs is a lot more of a lively bar atmosphere. Service was good and fast. They are known for their burger but I am not a huge burger fan. Their other food is amazing though! Even my boyfriend who loves burgers agreed that the chicken sandwich was one of the best and maybe even better than the burger. Definitely get the mac & cheese, chicken sandwich, and french onion soup. The french onion soup was super cheesy and the mac & cheese was so creamy and perfect. Typically I don't like bacon in mac & cheese, but I love that they don't overdo it here where it overpowers the entire dish. It was only some tiny pieces of bacon just for the flavor.

Hands down, the saltiest burger I ever had in Chicago. At least, they were generous with the fries. However, as I was a guest in his home and his wallet I was down to give it a try over the holidays when he suggested it. Based on my experience, I'm a believer - to a point. I started with the steak hot honey base and from there went HAM. Just my salad came in around $24. That's atrocious. However it was also delicious and packed to the brim with flavor and texture. I was pleasantly surprised. I think if I ordered as is I would have been disappointed - but being able to DIY was clutch. All that said, I FIRMLY reject the designation of places like Sweetgreen, Chipotle, and Cava as "slop bowls." In a time of rising economic and food insecurity, I actually find it incredibly disrespectful. Related but undeveloped thought - I also have issues with how items that contain "soft" ingredients like rice and beans - staples in countries with large populations of non white folks - get ridiculed as "slop." Is it the price that offends us? The preparation? Or the thought that who is eating it - (white) white collar workers - "deserve better?" We should unpack that at some point. -------- Overall Verdict: Yes. On someone else's dime.

We ordered a couple of slices, several beers, and a couple of non-alcoholic drinks. The beer is the reason to come. Every pour was excellent, and that's coming from someone who orders a lot of beer. The pizza was above average. Slices come reheated rather than straight out of the oven, so calibrate expectations accordingly, but they were good and the portions were fine. Not huge, not stingy. The room itself is a pleasure. The lighting is fantastic, warm without being dim, and the space stays comfortable even when it's full. Service was quick and cheery, which is no small feat during a rush. The one knock is price. It runs a little high for what you get. Still four stars, and we'll be back.

We just tried the seasonal Sunny Honey and I am hoping to get it again once more before it leaves. The self-serve toasted vanilla ice cream is incredible -- make sure to leave room for it! Important to note that you can walk up to the bar just to come to get ice cream...from experience :) They have a wide variety of wine and beers to pick from if that's your thing. Ask for a sample of a few if you aren't sure which to order! My one thing I'd love is if they had fountain drink options...I don't always want a glass bottle coke. A Diet Coke would be a great addition to a pizza-filled evening.

As someone who works out daily and also works fulltime, cooking often isn't a viable option. Luckily fittingly delicious has a huge menu of super delicious and fresh meals which can get delivered straight to your door. One thing that stands out to me is the quality of the meals. Compared to other meal prep providers, Fittingly Delicious has the best portion sizes of protein. Not to mention the flavor - everything is seasoned perfectly. Another thing is price/cost. Fittingly Delicious meals cost $9-10 each, which is amazing!! Most other services I've used the meals can be about $15 each, which is tough to justify. The balance of cost to quality is just awesome here. I put a special request/note on my last delivery order and it was followed exactly by the team - thanks guys :) If you're thinking about trying this service - don't hesitate! It will truly put dieting/eating healthy on autopilot for you not to mention you still get to eat tasty food cause seriously their meal preps are delicious!! My top meals I recommend you try from their menu - Greek quicken (grilled lemon pepper chicken served with roast potatoes and grilled zucchini) -"fit turkey" (perfectly seasoned ground turkey with roast sweet Potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans) -turkey meatloaf (tasty lean turkey meatloaf served along dairy free mashed sweet potatoes!!) -chicken teriyaki -- omg you must get this one! Super tender and juicy teriyaki grilled chicken breast that's served alongside basmati rice & steamed brocc I eat dairy free, gluten free & paleo and they have a HUGE selection of meals here to pick from. I figured I'd try this place out and I'll say this it's definitely decently priced for what you get. Portions for me are big. But the dishes lack flavor, the steak is too dry I ordered 15 meals so I had the option to have variety. The chicken wasn't too dry but just lacked the lemon flavor they're advertising. The honey glazed and blackened salmon also lack flavor but another thing the fish tasted like it was frozen and thawed out multiple times it just had that fishy odor and flavor that masked the main flavors of the dishes. For my meals I chose what I wanted but again I wanted Variety so I went a little crazy at least now I know which meals I like from this place. OH- and I ordered Chocolate protein pancakes AND banana pancakes and only received the chocolate ones so I was a meal short. All in all place isn't terrible but needs some work on flavoring. I know 100s of 0 calorie seasonings that would be perfect for these meals but it sucks having to season them at work or on the go.
