So I would like to preface this by saying that my yelp account is over 8 years old, and I have never bothered to post a review, good, bad or otherwise! I have Bravecto (flea and tick 12-week chews) on my auto-ship order for both my dogs at Chewy.com (which adds up to a yearly savings of about $50 over ordering from TCV's (the corner vet's) auto-ship. (You can look this up and confirm for yourself, and I hope you do), along with food for both dogs so that I don't have to carry 80lbs of dog food each month from my car to my house. Additionally, I don't have to remember to order my pet meds! That said, I got an email (attached) on 4/29/22, a Saturday, saying that Chewy.com had not received a reply from the vet and that I should contact them to prevent my order from being canceled. So, I called in to ask for my approval to be sent in to Chewy.com. I was told, RUDELY, mind you AND only after being placed on hold for several minutes that she "only does this once a week, so it should be done by end of day" (EOD was the day I called) and I shouldn't worry...So, I didn't, and I chocked her lack in 'pleasantness' up to having a bad day or being busy, etc.. On May 3rd, 2022 - the day I posted my review, I had already been talking to chewy.com because the order for my dog had been paid for, but cancelled (see attached) due to the vet not responding to their prescription request. So, I placed a new order because my baby needed his meds, regardless of clerical issues, by 5/7/22. When I called TCV, I immediately got placed on hold AGAIN. When I started to explain that I had called on Saturday and for some reason chewy.com had canceled my order despite TCV approving prescriptions the same day I got the cancelation email. Lauren cut me off and got defensive. At this point I asked her if we could please start over, and suggested that maybe we started off on the wrong foot. I told her that I was not upset with her, and I don't recall having a tone, but perhaps I did because of having been on the phone with chewy.com. I was taken aback by how she was addressing me as I even tried to be empathetic and take some blame in the conversational angst I was sensing. She backed off in her attack for a moment, but VERY shortly after began her combative nature yet again. In this moment is when I decided that I would never be going back to TCV, I asked her to please just send me a 'paper copy' of my dog's prescription and to use my PetDesk points to pay for it and to email it to me (see attached). That meant that I would no longer have to WAIT ONE WEEK for auto-ship orders to get prescriptions approved. (Please keep in mind that TCV's auto-ship is more expensive than Chewy.com's auto-ship base cost for the medicine by almost $5 and this was for ONE of my dogs) Also, I lose the free shipping for ordering multiple items from the Chewy.com site. I NEVER received the 'paper' prescription! It never came. Instead, I logged into the PetDesk application 3 days later to see that she had, instead of complying with my request for an email (please see attachment of email inbox search for "Corner Vet" and notice that NO EMAILS WERE SENT WITH THE PRESCRIPTION THAT I PAID $10 FOR), I received an expired prescription that had lasted 1 day in the PetDesk app.... God, please help me to be kind). PETTY MUCH, LAUREN?! Was I supposed to watch this moment-by-moment? I'm sorry, perhaps this WAS my fault? But, in the event that it was... does an app constitute as 'paper' when I SPECIFICALLY asked for an email? AITAH???? I would at this point like to apologize to you, reader, for my verboseness. (TLDR - I got f'd outta $10 for a script for my dog, and the lady at the front was rude and didn't like doing her job more than once a week). AND, I would like for you to look at reviews that I snapped from TCV Yelp users 1-5. I mean... even if they aren't the same person, if you gaf that your reviews make you look bad, then you HIRE SOMEONE KIND instead of protecting an a-hole like Lauren at the front desk. #IJS ALL OF THIS CULMINATES IN THE LETTER THAT I 'SUPPOSEDLY (who knows if Lauren actually sent it or not?) I took my puppy Oscar there after we discovered he had Parvovirus, he was weak & not eating. He stayed there for a week, the entire staff kept me informed with a daily Morning & evening update on him. The Vet was entirely honest about him saying he had a tough battle ahead of him. Well he survived & is running around playing & being a happy puppy. I've been coming here to this vet for a few years now, I recently went to get my dogs nails trimmed which requires sedation. The old staff was amazing & knew how to treat my dog. There is now a new staff and my dog was traumatized. I told them that they needed to sedated her to do anything, but they didn't listen. My dog didn't even get her nails trimmed and the staff seemed to be getting frustrated. I specifically told them what to do and they didn't follow through. The old staff knew how to handle my dog. Very pleased with Dr. Byrd and the entire staff! My Ginger was in pain. I called to ask some questions. They were very helpful and gave us an appt asap. They diagnosed and were so knowledgeable and caring. They gave me lots of advice and options with a reasonable estimate. As soon as I made the decision they got Ginger on the schedule for dental surgery asap.  Surgery and recovery went as expected! Truly grateful for all the info, detailed instruction, and meds given to assist Ginger's recovery and preventive care. The lady in the front desk is very rude , I had to drive all the way down there to make an appointment since they wasn't answering, so I got there, stepped in and they had the policy to not admit nobody inside, but I was informed in a very rude way. So I went outside and call them and she wasn't answering! I was already there , she could just help me to make the appointment in person or at least have the courtesy to pick up the phone ! If you are looking for an affordable vet , it's better to with other places . I brought one of my rescued dog here last year for vaccines . They also automatically charged me 9$ for visit fee which is understandable. Don't expect anything about the wellness exam tho , because the vet only asked if she had appetite . Didn't greet my dog or made her comfortable and just tried to put the needle straight into her butt, and of course my dog didn't like that . I brought her to a different vet and the lady was so nice and greeted her and made her comfortable first Then , this year I had some credit in my groupon account and I bought 2 heartwarm coupon. I went there last Saturday at 3 before closing time but the lady said they didn't accept anymore walk ins. Then I tried to go there after work since they close at 7 but they said last walk in they accept is 6pm . So they open at 9 or 10 today and I got there at 11. Front desk lady told me it was a 2 hour wait ..........so 2 hours later , I asked her how long I had to wait and she said about 45 more mins . That's just ridiculous ............they have only one technician for a busy Saturday ...... I guess the front desk lady felt bad and she got us into a room ...the room is dirty and you can see trash on the floor from the last patient . The entire team here treat everyone as if the pets were their own. They are professional, compassionate and intent on you understanding what to do to take of your pet. In the past 2 months, I have taken Barney 3 times. The first time was to check his adrenal glands. He needed to go on antibiotics due to an infection (I knew wasn't just right!) and the Doctor made a recommendation to have his teeth cleaned (he's a wire-haired dachshund with a long snout) and recommended a number of nearby, low-cost vets who specialize in teeth cleaning. The last two visits were follow-ups to keep an eye on his adrenal gland infection and today he was pronounced completely fit. Each time I visited, the atmosphere was fresh and clean; friendly, patient, and helpful. I am grateful to have this vet team in my neighborhood. read more

Went to drop off my tiny little Grayhuahua, part Italian gray hound and teacup chihuahua this am because she cracked her dew claw almost up to the fur. Keep in mind her little feet are the size of my size 3 pinky finger... I just had surgery and was not suppose to drive nor lift anything heavier than 5 lbs. We though she was no more than 5 but my son said when he weighed her it calculated to 7 lbs+. Instead of taking my tiny little injured Lulu into her arms and loving her she commenced to drag her out of my car choking her!!!! So I told her please don't do that. She did say well she has a back problem and can't lift anything more than 10lbs. The way i see it it is already traumatic for a poor little doggie to have a broken dew claw if you don't have the decency to show love and compassion for my dog in your care then you do not belong in that business! I have used Kaaws for years but too far for me to drive right now. Well that's not all..... then the lady went inside and a guy came out and brought a muzzle for her and wanted me to put it on her. Hell she never even looked like she would bite. He wanted me to twist my body around and traumatize this tiny creature b muzzling her!!!! Hell my other dog of 10 years is a giant schnauzer. I am soooo glad I never took her there because she is ornery and anyone who has ever owned a schnauzer knows they can discern spirits of people. I have owned dogs for about 40 years now and have NEVER encounter a vets office with such lack of innate skills of compassion for dogs and their owners alike as the 2 people I encountered at that office this morning!!! How in the world either one of them was going to be able to handle the 2 120 lb + dogs in both of the cars next to me I don't know!!!! I took ALL FOUR of my dogs and my 3month old baby there at once and they were so patient, helpful and kind. I went in for the vaccination express service! Got in at 12:15 was out by 12:55!! Y'all... 4 DOGS!! They are awesome! And the costs are SUPER REASONABLE!! I will be bringing my 4 pups here for vaccinations instead of my super overpriced vet from now on!!! I have posted a couple of rave reviews here about TCV. Although their main purpose is preventative, the vets zoomed in on the problem, gave recommendations and a few pros and cons. This was extremely helpful when I then went to the full-service vet as I then had an inkling of what was going on and things were clear. My last 2 encounters there with a new female vet was, ahem, not so good. She talks down to the client, makes hazy statements and gets perturbed when questioned. They are about to lose one of their most faithful clients (7 pets + the occasional stray) unless the attitude changes. I am not a vet, not even in that field but have accumulated a vast amount of experience by having a number of pets, my own and fosters, so, don't talk down to me, nor assume that I won't check out what you are telling me if it is unclear or sounds a bit off. read more

The staff was helpful & knowledgeable and got my rescue pup microchipped and the rest of his puppy vaccinations needed and we all left very happy. I don't like to write negative yelp reviews but a week after coming here I am pretty frustrated. The hours are very convenient and the staff seem nice. The vet was friendly and knowledgeable. I brought my dog because our normal vet of 10 years was closed that day. But if you do come here and get a feeling that a test they're wanting to run seems unnecessary, say something. Or if it seems like the $100 bag of medications you're taking home is excessive, it probably is. I actually felt like a bad pet owner because of all the things they said were wrong and how bad they made it seem. The majority of the meds were not needed. Half of them ended up making her worse because she was over medicated. I had to take her to our normal vet today to get help after she couldn't keep food down for a day and he told us to stop giving her the pills. We stopped 2 of the meds on our own after a few days because she was looking worse and our vet agreed that that now the issue looked resolved. They seem to care about the animals but they are also there to make money. It was 3x as much as we normally have for a vet bill. If you're someone that likes things thorough and extra tests and things make you feel more at ease about your fur baby, then this might be the place for you. I think I prefer smaller practices that aren't chains. read more

This is a no frills clinic with incredibly reasonable prices. I called, was told there wasn't a wait, brought my dog by to have an ear infection looked at, and was in and out within 30 minutes. The staff let me know if additional expenses like running tests on my dog's ears would be incurred ahead of time, and they allowed me to agree before proceeding. They also allowed me to decline a medication I already had at home without any pressure. Then when my dog got ahold of her ointment and chewed it up two days later, the clinic sold me a replacement medication without making me bring my dog back in. They also called to follow up on her progress. The infection cleared up within a few days. I will definitely come back. Thanks for the affordable and spot on service! read more

I just had my first negative experience at Corner Vet. At 2:20 pm, I was advised they had 4 patients ahead of me and were no longer accepting walk-ins. They close at 4 pm on Saturdays. I was unhappy but ok with it....until I witnessed the front desk/technician accept another walk-in patient after me. Really?! He didnt even wait for me to leave before extending preferential treatment to another client. Not exactly the smartest move on his part. I really liked this clinic, however unsure if I'll return as a customer after today. read more

LOVE this place. I've been needing a "go-to" vet for my black lab, Beau. This is definitely it from now on. I didn't have an appointment and they welcomed us right away. Very friendly staff that actually knows their stuff. Beau need an exam, heartworm prevention and his annual shots, which is usually the stuff that sets me back financially...but I was SHOCKED at how reasonable and low the prices were. I have used this location since it first opened. The staff is always very nice and answers questions enthusiastically. I love the convenience and the cost savings for all shots, tests, and offered services that can be performed outside of visiting my regular pet wellness vet. I am quite pleased with having these types of services readily available at a great savings. This place is fantastic! Very knowledgeable staff and doctor. From making the appointment up to the payment, it was easy, fast, and considerably cheaper! Really put my mind at rest and made sure all of my questions were answered. They were all so kind to my pup (she's 11 and a drama queen) and seemed to love her. The only reason I took one star off is because they can't do surgeries or anything major but for bloodwork, shots, checkups, heartworm testing, etc. it is purfect!! read more

Nice staff. Inconsistent rules. I took my dog in for exam and flea MEDS. They refused to provide MEDS for my other dogs at home without me bringing them in for an exam- Citing the MEDS are prescription. Funny enough, this morning I was provided MEDS for all 3 cats and only 1 had an actual exam. Frustrating that rules are inconsistently applied. Not happy. Now I'll go to my other get further away and pay $85 for an exam alone. At LEAST they are consistent. You get what you pay for. read more

Took my dog for first shots . The vet informed me my puppy was not a female it was male . Told me I purchase a male . Clearly the vet didn't know what she was talking about a yr later my dog is a female. My dog is now in heat and on her period. I don't understand how a vet would get that wrong. read more

Low cost pet vaccines. The only plus. Very unorganized. Front desk was not very welcoming. Even though nobody was waiting it took about 20mins for my dog to be seen. The exam was a joke. The vet looked at my dogs teeth and that was it. Even though it was only 9$ for the exam but still i would have expected a little bit more for the money i spent. The vet and the tech were really nice, though. update: i changed my review from two to three stars. been there a second time just because of their low prices. front desk very nice. exam was a little bit more thorough but just because I asked questions. however things were very unorganzied again. their website says you can check wait times and put yourself in line online. not true. the front desk never heard about that. not a biggie but needs to be fixed. also they ran out of vaccines/tests and i had the option of either having it send off to their lab and pay MORE or come back another day but I would have to pay the exam fee of $9.00 again. however it was not my fault that they were out of certain things but they said they have strict policies. so much for "no surprises" as they claim. It also felt like they have a certain time limit per animal. So if your pet requires a little bit more attention you are probably better off going to an animal hospital. All in all I will come back for vaccines but that's it. read more

I had a pleasant experience. I brought my cat in for a spot he had on the back of his head and was meet with wonderful staff. Everyone was so kind. The prices were extremely reasonable. The assistant who also took my payment was the absolute kindest person. I meet with Dr Le and she was so awesome. I loved her energy. I could feel she was being honest with me and gave me dietary guidance for my cat. She complimented my furry friend and was gentle with him. The only criticism I can give is based off my wish that I was talked to more in depth about my pets diet and given more specific suggestions but I can understand why they wouldn't be so keen to do that. I'm sure some pet owners are stubborn and don't want to be told how to handle their pets but that's ludicrous! You're in the hands of a expert. I will be giving this place my business again but hopefully, and I'm praying here when I say this, hopefully it won't be under more dire circumstances. Respect your vets. one person says the price IS..., then you are charge an additional fee. i called and the doctor and his response was the price is posted. SO if you have a VISUAL problem and ASK for a total COST then you have a PROBLEM . they sent me a $10 coupon and one for a friend then they do not honor it. i called again, their response is they did not receive it and the person that worked this morning has left for the day. read more
